Also finished jett Rider, what an awesome little game this was.
Really surprised me at how good it was.
A fun game with some great nods to Donkey Kong Arcade, Pong and Pacman.
Just finished Xeodrifter, great little game, thoroughly enjoyed it, just wish it was longer.
Just started Eagle Island Twist this game is so addictive, I'm loving it. Highly recommended.
I bought spare consoles for cheap on clearance, I have new DS Phat, N64, Wii U, 2 2DS, 2 3DS and 4 Switch consoles all bnib for my future gaming. I have done it nearly every generation so I have replacement consoles ready to go.
Probably got enough to start my own spare parts shop.........hmmmm
Excellent game, one of my favourites. So much so I bought the Limited Signature Edition from Pix n Love with a hand signed card from all the developers.
Glad to see Prince of Persia Lost Crown in there, deserves to be higher.
I am enjoying it more than Dread, I really didn't enjoy Dread, it was ok but those Emmi sections were just annoying more than fun imo. Anyway, PoPTLC is worth every cent. I'm playing it on hard and it is excellent, just about found everything and finished it. One of my favourite Switch games ever.
I keep every game I own, even the bad ones. Bad games are worth lots of money eventually too, my complete copy of Superman 64 is now worth way more than what I paid for it.
I own every Pal N64 game released here in Australia, all complete. I also have a massive Cube, Wii, Wii U and Switch collections. I'm keeping them all, my kids will thank me long after I'm gone. They can sell them and fund whatever they like with them.
In the meantime we all get to play them together, so it's a win, win situation.
Playing Fury Unleashed which I'm enjoying as I picked it up on sale, also continuing my playthrough of They Always Run, started Chronicles of 2 Heroes, love the old school difficulty.
,Also playing Mario Wonder 4 player with the Family which is always a good laugh.
I also bought the English only copy of Top Gear Rally 2 for my N64 collection as my Australian rated version is the multi language release so I might play that again.
That now brings my total to 250 CIB N64 games.
PS4 Mass Effect Andromeda
I'm enjoying it so far, I'm flirting with everyone I can, I've had some amusing conversations.
Switch
Just picked up my Retro Edition of Eagle Island Twist from Premium Edition games and my Collectors Edition of They Always Run from Redart Games so I'll start either one of those two.
Have a great weekend everyone and be good for Santa.
😁
I still have my original complete in box in mint condition along with every other Pal release so I'm good.
Shame they left out the best part.
Glad others get to enjoy it though since complete in box N64 prices are extreme these days.
So glad I bought the whole collection of 244+ games CIB released here in Australia though, my kids love playing them and couch multiplayer is alive and well in my household.
@PtM
Yeah probably.
I like what you called Batman knight btw, seems appropriate 😄.
Also, I still prefer the Wii U version of the other two though, the gamepad adds so much to the gameplay in very unique ways that it makes up for any other shortcomings it might have. Once you've played a game that uses the Wii U's strengths like the dual screen it makes it very hard to go back to standard controls or standard versions.
Batman, Tekken Tag, Splinter Cell, NFS, Rayman, Zombiu, Mass Effect, Mario Maker 1 are all much better games than their sequels or on other platforms because of the way the second screen is used.
Until you've played them on Wii U you really are missing out.
So regardless of whether it runs better or not, it still is an inferior version.
Which leads me to my original point and comment anyway, "sad when your older system plays a game better than your new one"
I just wish the Switch got a decent version of the Batman series like the Wii U did.
They're great games and deserve better.
At least they put effort into the Wii U versions unlike this obvious cash grab.
@PtM No they're not. HD with extra controls that use the second screen better than Nintendo ever did, and they run smoothly. I never had one drop. By the sounds of it Switch versions are a hot mess. I'll stick to my Wii U version any day.
Just wish WB didn't ruin some great games by getting lazy.
My daughter is playing Wind Waker HD ATM and loves my Wii U. I do too. I bought a Xenoblade Chronicles LE console at the end of its life cycle for cheap as a back up when my original launch model dies.
Games that used the second screen to improve its games are still some of the best versions available.
Finished Hyper Light Drifter this week.
Amazing.
Absolutely loved it.
Started my 3rd run through of 8 Doors Arum's Afterlife Adventure since my first 2 were stopped with a game breaking bug that wiped your save file right near the end of the game!
Thankfully it has been patched and I can confirm that it now works properly.
Luckily it's a great game to have repeat playthroughs.
Also playing Mario Wonder 4 player with the Family and we hope to start Mario RPG this week
Have a great weekend everyone.
I literally play Metroidvania games every week. I just finished Zapling Bygone, Dog World, Astalon, Blasphemous 2 and Moonscars all in the last few weeks so this is definitely going on the Wishlist. Is there any news on a physical? Hope so, I prefer to buy them physically when I can.
Also I wait to see if a physical copy gets announced, which usually happens later once the game is patched and fixed anyway. I'd rather have a physical copy but if not I'll get it on sale.

Re: Limited Edition Shovel Knight Switch Joy-Con Revealed, Pre-Orders Now Live
I'm not shoveling out that much for them, I don't live on a Knights wage, more like the squire boy.
They look fit for a King though.
Alright, I'll stop.

Prince of Persia physical copy, awesome game.
Loving it.
Chronicles of 2 Heroes, still plugging away at it, enjoying the old school difficulty.
Also bought the physical copy of Tunic Deluxe Edition which I'm looking forward to.
Just Finished Pronty, loved it, I will have to buy the physical of it now.
Have a great weekend everyone.
Re: Poll: So, Will You Be Getting Prince Of Persia: The Lost Crown?
Picking it up tomorrow.
Day one, I'll support them for bringing out an excellent game.

Still playing Mass Effect Andromeda on my PS4, having a good time with it.
Might pick out an N64 game from my collection, maybe Rakuga Kids or Robotron 64 as they're always good fun.
Have a great weekend everyone.
Re: Feature: 13 Best-Looking Switch Games Of 2023
They Always Run looks beautiful, I'll throw that one in the mix
Afterimage is definitely a great looking game and it played fine when I put in over 75 hours.
Souldiers looks great even if it struggles on Switch.
Ori game should be in there too.
Re: WTF: What Exactly Is This Switch eShop Garbage, Nintendo?
Can't wait for other titles to follow suit.
Imagine if big studios used titles like this.

NFS: Truck of Strength on Highway of Brutal Love!
Zelda: The Kingdom of Battle Street Donkey - Leave no one Behind!
Mario and the Donut of loathing Battle Moon Flowers!

Can't wait.

Re: Video: Digital Foundry's Technical Analysis Of Batman: Arkham Trilogy

Still not as bad as this train wreck on Switch..
"the worst performing game I have reviewed to date at Digital Foundry"
Says it all really.
So no, Wii U version isn't the worst version.
Re: Video: Digital Foundry's Technical Analysis Of Batman: Arkham Trilogy

Re: Video: Digital Foundry's Technical Analysis Of Batman: Arkham Trilogy
I'm loving Arkham on my Wii U, extra features and runs great.
The second screen is something even Switch can't do.
Sad when your older system plays a game better than your new one.
😜
