Pre ordered all 3, console, controller and case locked in.
Just in time for my wife's birthday so that's good.
Will go well with my Zelda CE I have also pre ordered.
Afterimage, Tiny Thor, Plucky Squire, Bo, Pepper Grinder, man, there are some truly awesome indie games coming.
They keep me coming back to my Switch, I have way more indie titles than anything else on my Switch.
I hope they get physical copies.
Keep them coming.
Horizon Forbidden West on my PS4, absolutely love this game. Metroid Prime Remastered on my Switch now that my physical copy arrived. Some Rakuga Kids on my N64.
Pix n Love have collectors Editions available in 2 flavours.
A USA style cover and a Japanese style cover (both have alternating reversible covers) for those interested.
Both copies include:
Nefasto's Misadventure: Meeting Noeroze game (physical edition) for Nintendo Switch and its Japanese reversible cover.
A 1980s/90s style cardboard box in a USA or Japanese version, numbered to 500 copies.
A 64-page fully illustrated strategy guide.
The OST in CD format.
A hand-autographed poster of the Aurora Game Studio developers.
I've used Pix n Love numerous times and they aren't like LRG that take an eternity to deliver, they're usually pretty quick, plus they have great communication.
Ask them a question and they always answer.
I still have the original cartridge complete in mint condition with case and manual for my original DS Phat, which is worth a bit of money these days.
An amazing game.
Please Nintendo, make new versions of 1080, Waverace, Excite Truck and for the love of everything a new F Zero. There are those of us out there that prefer those games over Mario Kart, we do exist, we are not unicorns.
I am yet to play it.
Unfortunately I have a huge backlog to get through and this is one of them.
I bought the Limited Edition from LRG and it sits there tempting me every day.
At least by the time I do get to it I will have extra characters and modes.
Sometimes it pays to have a backlog.
Reminds me of another game that Nintendo Life didn't review called Skul: The Hero Slayer where you use different skulls that change your abilities.
It was an awesome Dead Cells style game that NL still hasn't reviewed.
Their loss as it is a great game.
N64 for me, followed by the Cube as both those consoles have F Zero, Waverace, 1080 and the best Zelda games.
Switch is feeding off the Wii U's best games with Splatoon, MK8 etc.
Not enough risk taking for my liking, also where the .... is a new 1080, Waverace, F Zero or Excite Truck Nintendo?
It was excellent. Already preordered Zelda CE through EB here in Australia so I'm good. Hoping for a CE of Prime but I'll just settle for it being released physically in any way. Can't wait.
@Serpenterror I've bought a few games off Pix n Love and they always deliver. I bought No More Heroes 3 CE, Sifu Signature Edition, Cuphead Deluxe Edition (just shipped last week) and I have Souldiers CE pre ordered with them. Souldiers is the only game they have been delayed on but they contacted me and let me know. Their communication is excellent, ask them a question and they always get back to you I'll be pre-ordering this too if my wallet will let me.
I hope Switch lasts for another few years and gets an upgrade of some sort as I have a massive backlog for it and I want to pretend I have a chance of catching up.
Is this getting the physical treatment? I hope so. I need more Metroidvania games, I already have nearly all of them physically and I can't get enough. Just picked up a second hand copy of Salt and Sanctuary and finished Death's Gambit, about to start F.I.S.T and Ender Lillies Keep em coming.
I'm playing it on my widescreen crt tv and my original launch day N64 and it runs great.
No remapping the buttons needed, local multiplayer for free and I can unplug my competitors controllers ftw!😜
As a Prime fan I absolutely hated Dread. I didn't like anything about it. The Prime games are about isolation, exploring the environment. I don't want the Prime games to borrow anything from Dread. It is different and is meant to be. I hope they keep it in line with the original MP.
I thought the Wii U gamepad was perfect for a Metroid game, scanning, morph ball segments and so much more could of been done with the gamepad. Shame Nintendo lost faith in their vision.
I have ordered plenty of games through LRG.
Not one problem, in fact I recently ordered 3 games off them in their sale.
I got The Takeover, Huntdown and Hyper Light Drifter Collector's Editions.
I already have the standard edition of those games but wanted the CE's.
They state that the games usually ship between 6 to 8 months after pre-orders close up front.
I get that people are impatient and don't like to wait but I'd rather wait and have a physical copy than not get a physical copy at all.
This is the way limited games are published these days.
The word limited should tell you that these aren't mass produced like the bigger companies.
Saying that, games like this should definitely be sold through normal retailers, I agree, but that is not LRG fault, that is the agreement the company making the game made.
They obviously wanted this game to have a Limited Edition that would do the series justice, big publishers don't do Limited Edition Games very often and just want to push the game out the door.
I'll keep supporting LRG, Strictly Limited, Premium Edition and Super Rare games if that means I get LE of series that I love that wouldn't normally get this treatment.
It is all about choice.
I definitely think that the standard edition should go through the usual outlets and the Limited Edition versions through companies like the ones I stated.
Until that happens though we're stuck with this as our only option.
At least we have one option.
I bought the Gold edition of Sparks of Hope day one (on sale) and it is absolutely better than the first game.
My favourite new Mario series in a looooong time.
I hope they keep making them because they're worth every cent.
So much content too.
Shame that most people are waiting because that will probably end the series due to low sales.
Hopefully Nintendo keep partnering with them as like I said, this is the best Mario series in ages imo.
Physical.
I own them.
I can trade them.
I can sell them.
They're worth a lot once they're old, like my N64 collection, Cube collection, Wii collection etc.
Even rubbish games are worth a lot once they're old.
I can sell my old games for new ones.
That "junk" that us collectors hold onto will finance my new car etc.
My kids get to enjoy my retro games, that were once my current games like my Switch collection is today.
Also, are we that lazy that to get off our backsides and change a cartridge is too much of a hassle?
Really?
Reminds me of that Wall E scene of humans rolling around because we've become too lazy to walk.

Wallachia Reign of Dracula has been taken off the eshop.
Just thought I'd point it out.
Re: Random: Bitmap Is Bringing Xeno Crisis To N64 And GameCube
I have it on my Evercade but I'd buy it for my 64 too.
Great game.
Re: Where To Buy Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom Switch OLED Console And Pro Controller

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (March 25th)
F.I.S.T, really enjoying it.
Also started my second playthrough of Last of Us after enjoying the show and not having played it for ages.
Re: Poll: What Are Your Hype Levels for Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom?
I'm not too excited.
Until I get the game and I play it myself, until then I will wait quietly with hope.
I just finished Horizon Forbidden West and that game was amazing, if it is as good as that I will be happy.

Re: Random: Rare Pokémon Trading Card Auctioned For $480K Gets Zero Bids
I recently went to a garage sale where I found (and bought) a full box of 48 brand new sealed Topps Nintendo Game Pack cards for a bargain.
I'll keep those instead thanks.
Re: Review: Pronty - A Challenging, Aquatic Metroidvania With Beautiful BioShock-Inspired Visuals
Already had it on my wishlist as soon as I saw it was a Metroidvania in the previews.
I'll grab it on sale as I have about 10 other Metroidvania's to get through first.
I love the genre and my Switch is predominantly a Metroidvania machine, which I couldn't be happier about.

Metroid Prime?
Yes, I still have my original copy and my Cube as well.
Can't wait to play it on my Switch though.

Mine is on its way to me as we speak.
It will jump straight to the front of my backlog.😁

Bought the Gold Edition on sale at Christmas so I look forward to playing the Tower of Doooom.

N64 for me, followed by the Cube as both those consoles have F Zero, Waverace, 1080 and the best Zelda games.

Come on, take a risk.

Cost me $189.95
Ouch
Re: Poll: What Did You Think Of The February 2023 Nintendo Direct?
It was excellent.
Already preordered Zelda CE through EB here in Australia so I'm good.
Hoping for a CE of Prime but I'll just settle for it being released physically in any way.
Can't wait.
Re: Yes, Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom Costs $70, Collector's Edition Announced
I hope the Collector's Edition is available through retailers and not just through Nintendo.
I don't want to play "Refresh Roulette" again.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (January 28th)
Horizon Forbidden West on my PS4.
Cuphead on my Switch.
Rush 2049 and Hydrothunder on my N64.
Re: Video: GoldenEye 007 Side-By-Side Graphics Comparison (Switch & N64)
I'll play it on my CRT with original hardware.
I don't need to give Nintendo money for something I have owned for 25+ years.
Glad it has finally arrived though.
Still can't beat couch multiplayer though.
Nothing like elbowing your mate in the ribs when you take them down.

SNES - Just ordered Fork Parker's Crunch Out which I can't wait to arrive.

Slain by myself.
On PS4:
GoW Ragnarok
Re: Feature: The Best Hidden Gems And Underrated Switch Games Of 2022
Skul: The Hero Slayer deserves a recommendation.
If you liked Dead Cells you will enjoy this.
Also, 8 Doors: Arum's Afterlife Adventure if you're looking for a very good Metroidvania
Re: Two New Side-Scrolling Action Platformers Are Coming To Nintendo Switch In 2023

Physical versions please.

Re: Hideki Kamiya On New Bayonetta: "Take Your Guard Down & Approach This Title With A Fresh, Open Mind"

So far, it doesn't look like my sort of game.
Re: Mini Review: Resident Evil 7 Biohazard Cloud - Pretty Horrific
Pass.
I grabbed the PS4 version for cheap in a recent sale for a lot less, in physical form.
Just let cloud gaming disappear already.
