@LastFootnote They charged £60 in the UK for Breath of the Wild which is £10 more than the usual price of Switch games here so they know they can get away with it already. I just assumed they charged extra for it everywhere. With inflation we are lucky they aren't using that to justify charging even more.

They got away with the increased price point for the original so why not for the sequel.

Hoping for a few more last minute sales in the last week of the 3DS and Wii U eshops or I will be spending more than I should that week. Grabbed these as they are at my favourite price point.

I guess it is to help boost Odyssey's sales numbers. Mario Kart doesn't need any help in that department.

I have a Bravely Default or Bravely Second one I seem to remember. That's pretty good but as I don't really spend my time admiring menus I only ever got the free ones.

Finished Woolly World 100% last week. Dabbling in Yoshi's Island on NSO as finished it 100% many years ago. Going to give Yoshi's Island DS a go on the Wii U next. Looks like I have played the best 2 games there are though.

I tend to read through subtitles quicker than characters talk in games and skip through the VO so have no preference as to what language they speak. These games were on my radar back then so may have to take a look at these come the summer.

Hooked up my Wii U which hasn't been out of its box since the Switch came out and diving in to some exclusives that have yet to make the jump to Switch. First up Yoshi's Woolly World. That should keep me sorted for my weekend gaming. Maybe Xenoblade Chronicles X next although that is a big commitment when I only get a couple of hours or so of gaming time per day. Maybe the original Splatoon campaign before that to clear the backlog quicker.

I'd just be happy with a Metroid Prime 4 releasing at this stage.

I hope he can sever limbs in Fortnite.

If they can't compete with PS5 or XSX on specs they have to go the hybrid route or it will be the Wii U all over again.

A game you enjoy is usually addictive but most have a definite endpoint unless you want to be a speedrunner. Fortnite has no end and seemingly an infinite amount of money you can spend and that is where the problem comes from. Sounds like the parents aren't happy paying Epic to babysit their kids any more.

They should definitely gone with someone a little less well known or someone who would put on a voice for Mario. It looks like a Super Mario movie but sounds like a Super Pratt movie. He'll sound the same for Garfield. I will wait for the inevitable fan dub and hope they don't go in too hard on the accent from the games as that would be worse than what we are getting.

Just sign the deal. The way the news portrays things the world will have ended in 10 years so it won't matter anyway.

I did find it silly that there are more copies of the limited edition of the 3rd game.

The Trinity Masquerade edition is in the post which was still available in the UK until a few weeks ago compared to the physical version of the original which sold out in seconds.

At this rate this game will be in everyone's hands before the physical version of the original goes on order on the My Nintendo Store in the UK.

@Giancarlothomaz It was kind of a flippant comment based on a current controversial voice over choice. I know he will be getting paid a lot more to sound nothing like the Mario we all know. I wonder what kind of fee a regular voice actor can command if they are the voice of a titular game character in a series and what she received for the previous games. You'd like to think that she was offered more as the series went on.

Is it the going rate for voice over work and that is what Chris Pratt got paid for the Mario movie?
