What was that maintenance for a week or so ago for? Making sure the message will load when the site crashes?

Maybe the European Collector's Edition will include all the DLC by the time they let us order it.

@GVIL I don't understand how they can't take pre-orders as surely they know how many copies they are making? I thought XC3 was going up shortly after the site came back up but obviously not. Now announcing the this the day of release is shocking. How did they not warn people sooner as clearly it would have needed to be in stock a few days ago for shipping in time?

At least it is coming or it would make the special edition of 3 seem silly with a cover for the first game that never released. What is with the My Nintendo store in UK? Do they not understand how to pre-order any more? Still waiting on Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Special Edition to go up for order.

Surely speed running is worse than this?

It's almost like a gift buying season is upon us and they are trying to fleece people out of more money than they need to spend.

@bluemujika Surprised it got a remake as it is only going to be for those with nostalgia for the original. The box art stinks on the remake as well so I assume they didn't get the rights to the original art.

The title has me wanting to play Key to the Kingdom now. Need to dig it out of storage. There will be tears if there are tears in the board.

@Tempestryke Everyone is screaming Zelda and Metroid and Nintendo give us Kirby instead. It's like they are toying with everyone.

@Tempestryke Maybe someone at Nintendo sees these predictions so keeps putting them to back of the queue. I can imagine Nintendo has got a few remakes ready to fill the release schedule when needed.

At least the jokers can carry on wheeling out the Wind Waker and Twilight Princess rumours into 2023. Saves them coming up with new material. People only like the greatest hits anyway.

I would like to be surprised and for them to show stuff that none of these educated guessers parade out every time a direct looms. In fact I would love it if everything was a surprise and no predictions at all were correct.

They're now thinking how soon they can get Splatoon 4 out without feeling like they are milking the cash cow too hard.
Not bought it yet. Thinking I will fire up the Wii U and play through the original campaign that I never got round to and hold off until Christmas for this one. Not like the online community will be dead by then.

I knew someone who worked a 4 day week with Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays off until someone complained that they didn't get any benefit from the Good Friday bank holiday so they went to a 5 day week so they got a benefit from Good Friday. There is always one person who spoils it for others. Hopefully no one at this company has the same idea.

The only live action version of this I would watch is Chris Pratt in a rubber suit. I'd book time off work and watch all available showings and even buy tickets for showings at the cinema that I can't attend as I will be watching it for the 65th time on one of their other screens.

All but 4 boxed in the loft. Others opened but hidden away in a larger box out of sight. Not really sure why I bough them.

The original Splatoon campaign needs to come to Switch as a budget release. No need for the multiplayer but would be nice to have the full set on Switch.

It's not the best 3D Mario game but if you compare 3D Mario games to a bag of Revels, there are no orange or coffee ones to be found. I don't like those flavours just for clarity, feel free to chop and change the flavours for your preferences in my terrible analogy.

I recently threw my VHS of it in the bin along with many others. Ebay tells me I should have probably tried to sell it for a few pennies.

Twin Peaks should be paired with Deadly Premonition all day long.

@LittleGhost When people polish these old classics it is partly for their love of the games and partly to get some attention. Hopefully this person uses this attention to move onto something original that he can actually share with people without fear of lawyers jumping on it.

@Aezetz To get super rich people probably have committed some form of crime or at the least exploited a bunch of people, which should be a crime, to get there.

@Kiz3000 I was thinking the same considering I bought the Lynx collections for it just last week.

I won't bite until all three are out and not at full price if they do go the separate release route as is suggest by the rumour dartboard this week.

Talking of days before online walkthroughs. I remember years ago at school one of my teachers, the one everyone was afraid, asked anyone with a Megadrive to stay behind after class. We though he was a Nintendo fan boy and wanted to punish us. Turns out he needed help with a level on The Immortal. I have never felt so relieved in my life. I helped him and asked for his help a few weeks later.

I remember the good old days when virtual outfits were not a selling point for DLC. Can they sell a story/mission DLC pack and a superfluous gubbins DLC pack so folks that don't care what colour trousers the characters are wearing can save a few pennies?

All very catchy terms. The fact the French use the term weekend has always baffled me when they don't use the term week. This makes it even more baffling.

Really selling the idea of the metaverse. I don't need to imagine walking on sand. I can just get a kid's sandpit or travel to the beach.

I didn't like the game and gave up after about 15-20 mins. Did I give up too soon?
I do like reading articles about games I didn't enjoy though as I get to enjoy them vicariously through articles.

@Bunkerneath You could use it for DLC as that rarely gets a physical release. I personally would prefer a monetary reward rather than a dust gathering trinket. I wouldn't even graze the top 1 million playing this though so they could give away whatever for this for all the good it would do me.
Maybe they should have polled the players to find out what they would prefer first to gauge overall reaction.

Earthbound with a Vengeance!

I played it for an hour or so on a cinema screen back in the day. It wasn't the optimal way to play as we had to sit on the front row due to where we could connect the N64.

@Dragonslacker1 It's already finished but are being held up by the logo. They are only on logo version 26 at the minute. They should get there before the Switch Pro releases.

Bought it on sale a while ago. Still in my backlog along with the main game as well as the original on Wii U.
