A game you enjoy is usually addictive but most have a definite endpoint unless you want to be a speedrunner. Fortnite has no end and seemingly an infinite amount of money you can spend and that is where the problem comes from. Sounds like the parents aren't happy paying Epic to babysit their kids any more.

They should definitely gone with someone a little less well known or someone who would put on a voice for Mario. It looks like a Super Mario movie but sounds like a Super Pratt movie. He'll sound the same for Garfield. I will wait for the inevitable fan dub and hope they don't go in too hard on the accent from the games as that would be worse than what we are getting.

Just sign the deal. The way the news portrays things the world will have ended in 10 years so it won't matter anyway.

I am a little disappointed that there isn't a heavily made up John Hurt and a puppet dog in Storyteller.

So Japan had over 60% of Splatoon 3 sales by the end of September? I better get a copy and start to even out that percentage.

I did find it silly that there are more copies of the limited edition of the 3rd game.

The Trinity Masquerade edition is in the post which was still available in the UK until a few weeks ago compared to the physical version of the original which sold out in seconds.

At this rate this game will be in everyone's hands before the physical version of the original goes on order on the My Nintendo Store in the UK.

@Giancarlothomaz It was kind of a flippant comment based on a current controversial voice over choice. I know he will be getting paid a lot more to sound nothing like the Mario we all know. I wonder what kind of fee a regular voice actor can command if they are the voice of a titular game character in a series and what she received for the previous games. You'd like to think that she was offered more as the series went on.

Is it the going rate for voice over work and that is what Chris Pratt got paid for the Mario movie?

@GVIL I don't understand how they can't take pre-orders as surely they know how many copies they are making? I thought XC3 was going up shortly after the site came back up but obviously not. Now announcing the this the day of release is shocking. How did they not warn people sooner as clearly it would have needed to be in stock a few days ago for shipping in time?

At least it is coming or it would make the special edition of 3 seem silly with a cover for the first game that never released. What is with the My Nintendo store in UK? Do they not understand how to pre-order any more? Still waiting on Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Special Edition to go up for order.

@bluemujika Surprised it got a remake as it is only going to be for those with nostalgia for the original. The box art stinks on the remake as well so I assume they didn't get the rights to the original art.

The title has me wanting to play Key to the Kingdom now. Need to dig it out of storage. There will be tears if there are tears in the board.

@Tempestryke Maybe someone at Nintendo sees these predictions so keeps putting them to back of the queue. I can imagine Nintendo has got a few remakes ready to fill the release schedule when needed.

At least the jokers can carry on wheeling out the Wind Waker and Twilight Princess rumours into 2023. Saves them coming up with new material. People only like the greatest hits anyway.

I would like to be surprised and for them to show stuff that none of these educated guessers parade out every time a direct looms. In fact I would love it if everything was a surprise and no predictions at all were correct.

Not bought it yet. Thinking I will fire up the Wii U and play through the original campaign that I never got round to and hold off until Christmas for this one. Not like the online community will be dead by then.

I knew someone who worked a 4 day week with Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays off until someone complained that they didn't get any benefit from the Good Friday bank holiday so they went to a 5 day week so they got a benefit from Good Friday. There is always one person who spoils it for others. Hopefully no one at this company has the same idea.

The only live action version of this I would watch is Chris Pratt in a rubber suit. I'd book time off work and watch all available showings and even buy tickets for showings at the cinema that I can't attend as I will be watching it for the 65th time on one of their other screens.

All but 4 boxed in the loft. Others opened but hidden away in a larger box out of sight. Not really sure why I bough them.

The original Splatoon campaign needs to come to Switch as a budget release. No need for the multiplayer but would be nice to have the full set on Switch.

It's not the best 3D Mario game but if you compare 3D Mario games to a bag of Revels, there are no orange or coffee ones to be found. I don't like those flavours just for clarity, feel free to chop and change the flavours for your preferences in my terrible analogy.

@LittleGhost When people polish these old classics it is partly for their love of the games and partly to get some attention. Hopefully this person uses this attention to move onto something original that he can actually share with people without fear of lawyers jumping on it.

@Aezetz To get super rich people probably have committed some form of crime or at the least exploited a bunch of people, which should be a crime, to get there.

@Kiz3000 I was thinking the same considering I bought the Lynx collections for it just last week.

I won't bite until all three are out and not at full price if they do go the separate release route as is suggest by the rumour dartboard this week.
