I didn't like the game and gave up after about 15-20 mins. Did I give up too soon?
I do like reading articles about games I didn't enjoy though as I get to enjoy them vicariously through articles.

@Bunkerneath You could use it for DLC as that rarely gets a physical release. I personally would prefer a monetary reward rather than a dust gathering trinket. I wouldn't even graze the top 1 million playing this though so they could give away whatever for this for all the good it would do me.
Maybe they should have polled the players to find out what they would prefer first to gauge overall reaction.

Earthbound with a Vengeance!

I played it for an hour or so on a cinema screen back in the day. It wasn't the optimal way to play as we had to sit on the front row due to where we could connect the N64.

@Dragonslacker1 It's already finished but are being held up by the logo. They are only on logo version 26 at the minute. They should get there before the Switch Pro releases.

Bought it on sale a while ago. Still in my backlog along with the main game as well as the original on Wii U.

A week after the Switch 2/Pro releases the internet will be full of Switch 3/ProSuperMax speculation. I'll wait until Nintendo officially announces any new hardware and in the meantime I will enjoy what we already have. Should probably finish the origianl at some point. Did the 4 beasts shortly after release and then got distracted and here we are 5 years later.

It was a shallow game if played alone but once you got the whole family including the cat (with a bit of sticky tape) to play then it became something more.
Just before anyone reports me for animal cruelty, I didn't use sticky tape as my cat has opposable thumbs and often beat us all at bowling.

One gains traction due to the silly name and gets removed but there are other Mario rip off games on the store. Judging by the names anyway. One called "Fan Game For New Super Mario Adventures" has been there for nearly 2 months.

A year or two ago I would have jumped on a Switch Pro/2. The increasing cost of regular items and fuel is making me put my sensible head on and wait now.

He could get a really nice top to go with those trousers for that money.

@Krull I love a bit of Goat Recon. Splinter Ball is also good for a laugh.

I love Tom Claney games. Surprised they are so high as most people will only have heard of the cheap knock off, Tom Clancy.

In September it will be going to high school. They grow up so fast!

I always enjoy games where you do things that you can't in real life. Kirby definitely ticks that box. I will never be a pink blob who can swallow a car.

For every one thing Nintendo take down another 10 will spring up in their place.

He wants to be more worried about those Assassin's Creed games she plays. Maybe he'll turn up on her hit list.

The lack of Mario Kart and GTA is disconcerting.

I wish I could draw like that. I struggle to even draw stick figures in proportion.

@darkswabber I was just thinking of Folklore and contemplatingpaltingbit again yesterday. It's a game I started twice but got waylaid both times. Need to commit to it as I really liked the style.

I started many years ago with Charmander and will be a Firestarter (twisted Firestarter) until the day I die.

Started Pokrmon Legends last night so dabbling with that while diving in and out of the House of Fata Morgana. 15 hours into that and still waiting for it to kick off. Can't play for more than an hour a day as it makes me sleepy but I can read a good book in a day.

"Gotta import 'em all from HOME" doesn't have the same ring to it.

@jsty3105 Just saying that it has to be more of a reason than just Sony. Whether that reason is they can make more money doing it with Panda Global. Maybe Sony are blocking them from any form of advertising at the event.

What's next? Blocking the Switch from working on Sony TVs? Surely this is not just a Sony thing.

@Ventilator My PC still did in 2002. I didn't actually think this was the case and it was a flippant comment. The number does sound a little inflated though when it puts it above most first party PlayStation and Nintendo games.

Surely it wouldn't be major thing to be able to sell the NSO games individually for people that want them?
I am also hopeful that once the eshops close they will stick a boatload more games on NSO service at the very least. Make as much money from the mugs that supported the Wii U as possible first.

I remember the time my mum hit me with a hair brush and it broke. I laugh about it now. She also threatened to break my ****ing legs when I was laughing at something and couldn't stop. The latter I was in my 20s though. She was clearly having a tough day.

@semolous Maybe relatives or friends can pitch in with a few bucks to help him pay it off before the world ends.

He can pay it back at $100 a week until it is paid off.

How long before games enter the public domain? In 100 years I know my great grandkids will not be playing on my 3DS as it will no longer be working. They will never know the joys of these games without emulation unless Nintendo release a 3DS Classic on it's 50th anniversary or something.

The next 12 months is going to cost a lot of money if you want to get them all.

@gaga64 I was wondering about that. Need to get the DLC for Echoes soon then. Assume you have to reach a certain point before you can get it too?

Can you still buy games via the website up until the final deadline with your credit card?
Currently back to playing Bravely Default on my 3DS and also dabbling with Fantasy Life as the mobile game isn't cutting it for me. Recently bought the DLC for it preparing for this announcement. Few more I need on Wii U before it shuts down though.

Play in a locked room on your own in case one of the family takes a snap with it in the background and posts on social media.

It's safe to immerse in water though right?

Isn't the point in NFTs to show off that you "own" something no one else has or to sell at a profit one that you bought who feels the bragging rights are worth more than what you paid for it. Who wants to show off NFTs from this company.

NFTs are the Emperor's New Clothes. Everyone buying into them thinks they're great and everyone else is just pointing and laughing.

Smash has the least number of iterations compared to those entries though.

The OLED Switch will probably outsell the Wii U within a year. The Wii U sales aren't justified though as it was a great console and the second screen was useful in some games. If it played Gamecube discs it would have played games from all Nintendo home systems and would have sold like crazy. In my dreams anyway.

They've taken down the Mother 3 soundtrack? Surely that means a Western release is incoming.
That is what glass half full people will infer anyway.
