Kinda funny, I won my first attempt. Haven't played this mode much online though, so I only have the one win.

I read "entire Xbox Series" and thought it meant Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and current Xbox combined, which a) might not be far off, and b) speaks to Microsoft's terrible nomenclature.

I expect a wait of a year or two, but I can't see Nintendo taking any longer than that to get 3D Mario on their new console.

I like Burger Toad, Racer Rosalina, every Yoshi, and, of course, Cow. But my heart belongs to Wario.

I've had this game 2 weeks and haven't taken a single photo. Time to get at it.

@TheFatPlumber The first thing I looked for when I booted up the Switch 2 eShop was a reduction in the number of shovelware and "hentai" puzzle games. Everything else has been improved, but not this!

Game looks great. Young Pauline is adorable.

Really annoying how you have to disable smart steering whenever you start a multiplayer match. Should be off by default.

@HugoGED @RadioShadow The timer never stops running, even when you hit rewind. So while you can use this exploit to get a very good lap time, your track time ends up horrendous.

10/10 game. But I have WWHD on Wii U, so I'll replay it there when I get the urge.

My Walmart had several in stock. I'm not too worried.

I played a lot of Fast RMX in 2017 on my Switch. This game looks pretty great.

How does it compare to the Mega Duck? And I'm jealous of whoever owns that Nomad.

Kids these days find it hard to believe, but Garfield was really great in the 80s and early 90s.

TBH I thought it sounded too ambitious when they first announced they were expanding as a publisher. Not that I've kept up with that endeavor at all. Sad news, but not surprising. Hope those affected find new work soon.

I'll visit my local Wal-Mart in the morning to see if they have any in stock. If so, then I'll decide whether to buy one or to wait.

MK7 is unexciting for a MK game but still very fun.

Is MK8 a 10/10? The absence of double items and ultra mini-turbos make it a big step down from MK8D, but that's only clear in hindsight. But the terrible battle mode does drop it to a 9 for me.

MK8D is the best in the series.

I love the Wario in his hot pink Eldorado. Bonus points for including the Shortcat combo (they knew what they were doing).

What a blowout. And the western box isn't even bad.

I've come around lately on MKWii, but it is a bit overrated. Great tracks, though.

Double Dash is basically perfect.

Ugh. Please keep any and all of those terrible Mario & Luigi characters as far away from Mario Kart as possible.

There's a part of me that believes Super Mario Kart is still the best game in the series.

Not a fan of Polygon, but I don't like Screen Rant, either, so...it's a wash? No real opinion on Giant Bomb, though.

Was hoping this was an update to let you hide these games on the eShop.

Best case scenario, probably. Good thing it's clear to everyone why these price increases happened.

Game looks great. Direct was a good primer if you don't know much about the game, but a poor follow-up to the reveal two weeks ago and lacking new information.

Hoping Bob-omb Blast is in, too, but at least they included the two best modes.

Rewind is exactly what I was hoping for so I can practice the trickier shortcuts more easily. So excited.

I loved how in Double Dash!! you could dodge red shells with a mini-turbo. 'Course, you couldn't drag items in that game.

@bloody_velvet Was thinking the same thing. Can't blame the company for laying off people they no longer need, but they should give them good severance. Not holding my breath.

My first thought when they unveiled this feature was "Oh, no, what's it going to do to my framerate?" Then I saw the GameChat videos, and it was clear they was streaming at a low framerate intentionally so as not to affect the game you're playing.

Ironic how companies moved production from China to Vietnam (which was the goal) because of tariffs on China, and now they're getting smacked with massive tariffs, anyway.

I'll accept price increases on games as a sad necessity, but charging for a tech demo is dumb.

It's a drastically better design. I guess nostalgia is strong, though.

Aside from normal inflation, the economy and the world are pretty screwed up right now. I have a hard time blaming Nintendo for this.

This box art has me more excited for MP4 than the Direct did, haha.

Prime 4 was the biggest game of the presentation, but its trailer was pretty dull. Some niche surprises in there, but little did me personally.

The phrase "profit-based practices" amuses me. That could describe literally anything done for a livelihood, among other things.

Honestly I probably don't have the time to invest in these. Otherwise I think I'd enjoy them.
