@PinderSchloss that is the exact same reason that I never finished it. I still keep it right next to my Switch thinking one day I will actually finish it.

I started playing this last night, and it is actually pretty well done (audio could use some work, though). It’s definitely not a $40 game, but it’s at least a $20 - $30 purchase.

@SViper This is actually the second time. First is Legend of Zelda: Wand of Gamelon.

I know this probably isn’t going to be good, but I want it to be good.

I really wanted to like this game, but despite the game talking about random environments it felt like I had the exact same level layout 99% of the time, causing it to get old fast.

I just want to know if English will be patched into the physical Japanese version.

There really shouldn’t be a preorder DLC for a collection of old games. Just put everything on the cartridge so that everyone can enjoy it.

Before playing Borderlands 3, I would have been really excited about a 4th entry. After playing Borderlands 3, shrug.

@DonierGunad I was thinking a patch to add back in the awful English language dub.

I just want them to rerelease the MegaMan Legends games and the Dreamcast game Cannon Spike.

I’ve always wanted to play Powerful Pro Baseball, but never did due to the games being in Japanese. However, after aeeing Dracula and Goemon in this year’s trailer, I think I might break out the translator app on my phone and give this series a try.

Hopefully they release a physical collection for this series.

It’s currently sold out on PlayAsia, but there is an Asian version of this game already out with English on the cartridge.

If there had been a physical release, I would have purchased it. Digital? No thanks.

I’m going with Pix n Love over Limited Run, solely because Limited Run chose to use the censored artwork.

Despite loving the first Soul Reaver, I am not sure how well these games will hold up. That said, I am buying these day one.

@JohnnyMind The Bitmap Bureau Collection is supposed to come out next week and contains Xeno Crisis, Battle Axe, and Final Vendetta.

@UltimateOtaku91 I think just being published by Red Art Games will lead to a delay. They seem to be one of the worst companies when it comes to delays.

I know I’m probably in the minority here, but I am looking forward to this game. Despite Sonic’s bumpy track record, I absolutely loved Generations and can’t wait to play this expanded rerelease.

@Keyblade-Dan Crash Bandicoot Racing did something similarly shady. After it was reviewed and given terrific scores, they added microtransactions. Years later, everything is still a huge grind to unlock because they want people to buy the virtual currency.

Mega Man 5 is set to my profile. That game will always hold a significant place in my heart.

@SpeedRunRocks you can get the Japanese version (multi language) from PlayAsia for $28. That’s what I did since it was cheaper and came out months earlier than my regional equivalent.

I’m still waiting on my physical copy to arrive. It was supposed to ship last September, but another game in the order from PlayAsia kept getting delayed.

This looks a heck of a lot better than Dojos Rising, that’s for sure.

For Blazing Strike, I will believe it when I see it. That game has been delayed so many times that I have lost faith in it ever being released. I say that as someone with a copy preordered.

Every time I think I’m finally ready to play this game, they announce a new significant patch a month out and this game gets placed back onto the backlog.

I’m excited for this. I love the YS series. Fingers crossed it performs better than 9 at launch.

That issue is not fixed. Even after the update, it still happens.

This review made me pick up a copy for my wife. Not my type of game, but this definitely sounds like something she would enjoy.

I still need to play the last Sword Art games for the Switch. I heard it was rough at launch, so I decided to wait until a patch and never got around to it.

@Emmerichcoal I’m in the same boat. When I was told later by PlayAsia that the game went from English on cart to English via patch, I didn’t expect it to be 7 months and still nothing.

I was really hoping for an Onimusha Collection announcement. Onimusha 2, 3, and Dawn of Dreams deserve rereleases.

I think that I am passing. This version of Mortal Kombat isn’t grabbing me like it used to.

At that price, I would pick it up if it was available physically. Digitally, I’m not spending more than $9.99 on this title.

I’m glad that they didn’t make Zelda a Link clone, in terms of gameplay. However, I am not sure about the echo mechanic. It seems like it might slow down gameplay too much for my liking.

This looks like Battle Cats Unite but with a Metal Slug coat of paint.

Looking forward to this. Hopefully it performs well on Switch when it comes out in the fall.

@Koxen If I remember correctly, most of them are rehashes of the original NES games. Mega Man 5, however, is original.

The real-time combat option is giving me serious YS vibes. I might have to play this day one.

According to the people commenting on Twitter, this patch didn’t fix nearly enough. Load times are still an issue.

It feels like this game has been stuck in development hell for ages. Seems odd for a remake to be having so many problems.

I don’t know if it was the disappointing third entry or how this story has been stretched out for over 20 years, but I think that I have finally lost interest in this series.
