Re: LEGO Fortnite Reveals GTA And Sims-Style Social Roleplaying Game Mode

@Zeebor15 With the fact that it's a free to play game and those eventually die out with the passage of time, I guess that Epic decided to expand fortnite into some sort of metaverse-esque experience while it's still popular to increase it's longevity by allowing those who might not be into a battle royale a way to play with this game. It's a little funny how basically 8 entire full games are in here, but it's kind of genius

Regardless though, I don't think I'm personally touching fortnite for a while even with this stuff

Re: Random: BAFTA's 'Iconic Game Characters' Poll Has Us Scratching Our Heads

I feel like the actual proper list would be something like:

1. Mario
2. Sonic
3. PAC-MAN
4. Pikachu
5. Donkey Kong
6. Link
7. Master Chief
8. Lara Croft
9. Crash Bandicoot
10. Samus Aran

And honorable mentions: Ratchet & Clank, Kirby (might be replaceable with Samus), Kratos, etc

And if this list considered multiple characters from the same franchise, we’d obviously have multiple Mario/Sonic characters.

Re: Switch Emulator Yuzu To Pay $2.4 Million To Nintendo & Cease Development

@Snatcher yes, some people use it for piracy, but they do not promote it at all (and if i recall correctly, even mentioning it will get you banned from their discord)

its used for things like playing games you already own legitimately on PC, playing your own dumped-ROMs, and sadly is also used to illegally steal games you do not own at all, so its like a 33.3% split

Re: Switch Emulator Yuzu To Pay $2.4 Million To Nintendo & Cease Development

@Anti-Matter Emulators aren't illegal as long as you don't use the keys like Dolphin did, so Yuzu and Citra are inherently fine.

Believe it or not, people actually do use emulators to play their own backed-up games, not everyone who uses them is a mustache-twirling villain set on stealing every single game released on switch without even buying a legit copy first

Yes, some people use the emulator to pirate games that literally just got released without ever paying for them, and those people need to be shamed because they are actually doing harm, but its not necessary to spread misinformation like "emulators are inherently illegal" and it's not necessary to generalize everyone who uses emulators as pirates.

Re: Knuckles Spin-Off TV Show Episode Runtime Seemingly Revealed

@Pat_trick In this series, Knuckles may chuckle, but he may also ruckle a piece of fabric, or he could get and a car and buckle, or roll on truckles, or find a shoe that's muckle, and perhaps he could show some emotion but subtle, or maybe in a car he can take the shuttle, or use some energy to hustle, but at the end of the day, he is Knuckles

@Regulus6891 "Fortnite is already single-handedly responsible for killing the minds of a young gamer generation." Okay, this is an extreme reach.

You can not like fortnite (in-fact, I myself personally could care less for it), but acting like it killed a generation of gamers because a few bad apples addicted to it with behavior problems went viral online is not really valid.
