So many people hate Disney now. The culture war really roosted on their heads - maybe in the UK as well. I do find it odd how much more attention you give lackluster Disney games - over more worthy games.

also: wait until Hogwart's hits the Switch. It will be GTA in the UK until a new one is released.

I hope they wait on Wind Waker for the next console - and really go all out. It is by far my favorite of the entire series so I am as biased as it gets.

@Wordbonder from what I understood - Eric Barone, like many of us, was not happy that a game like the OG pixel Harvest Moons didn't really exist any more. Harvest Moon and Story of Seasons basically sucked rocks - so he made Stardew as a labor of love. That labor became more popular than he could have ever environed and multi-billion dollar companies chased his labor - and still fail to this very day.

So honestly I don't call it a rip-off. No one else was doing Harvest Moon- so he did the Harvest Moon people liked most of all - but better.

@RobynAlecksys except I also bought it because it is an Xbox. I bought it because it is a blu ray player AND an xbox. A better value and I don't have two machines sitting there.

@theModestMouse During the Playstation 2/GC era many 100,000s of people bought a PS2 because it had a dvd player. It was back when Netflix started sending dvds to people. I used it all of the time.

I literally would not have purchased a X two month ago if it weren't for the Blu Ray player. The X is my bluray player. It made sense to buy a combined unit rather than two units. This is not uncommon. You are doing it wrong and always have been.

@deadmaker I hope they do too but they could also have a completely reimagined system. I think we are not going to see a Switch 2. Something else entirely is my hope.

The Wii U should be a lesson for them. People don't care about an upgrade.

@Dragonite89 I always speak for myself. Regardless of the technology under it's hood - the Switch is dominating Sony and Microsoft in every category.

What does that tell you how important the specs are? I can tell you the logical path: it means the specs are quite meaningless in terms of raw sales - the only category that matters to a company.

@TenEighty You can put the screws to Microsoft and Sony is what you can do. They are both busy making horrible Switch clones - if you can make another giant seller - you make Sony, MS and the pc hardware manufacturers waste resources on tech people aren't excited about any longer.

It isn't only about making the best product - it is about confusing the enemy.

Sea of Stars is the biggest release for in August - but I'll be playing it on gamepass since it won't cost me any extra.

Pikmin 3 co-op with my kids, Radiant Historia on the 3DS and Exoprimal on the xbox. Exoprimal has been my personal game of the summer. Not the best game made but the most fun.

I wholeheartedly disagree. He is a fun character and super cute- but he makes the game far too easy. He is good as a one off - I don't ever want to see him again in a mainline game unless it's a cameo.

I do not care if Disney products fail and are never made again.

I will be trying it - provided the unlikely event I'll still be subbed to this increasingly bad service - but I don't expect it to be nearly as good without Warren Ellis.

Those are big time numbers. I can see Pikmin pushing 3 million or more units through Christmas which has got to make them happy I'd think.

After buying an xbox recently and realizing just how much better this machine is than the other two consoles - I am rethinking my earlier opinion that the next console will be announced Q1 2024. They really could go another year without so much as a peep with the excellent games they keep producing. And gosh dern it all I'd be fine with that.

@FishyS I really like the NSO sub - but the GBA makes it all worthwhile for the more expensive one for me.

Love these additions. Pretty much all of 2023's additions have been excellent.

@beazlen1 I feel you on those. The racers have been all but forgotten. I guess we did get improved versions of those older racers on the subscription service at least right?

@beazlen1 Mario Wonder looks like a complete change of pace to previous Marios. Music, art style, everything but jumping. You say they need niche titles like Pikmin. Well...congrats here it is. They have shown massive support to non-blockbusters like Fire Emblem. Nintendo has handed out their IPs to other developers to give them a shot. Nintendo have given more 3rd party support, like to Platinum, than I have ever seen them give since the NES. They have brought back classics, in a very well-done manner in Metroid Prime and Advanced Wars. et cetera forever.

Frankly, I don't know what else you could possibly ask for. This gen, Nintendo has given us practically everything.

I couldn't find it at my regular retail store - I went the day of - I don't think they brought them into their stores I normally snag one even the big releases.

Bummer - these are some of the better looking statues.

@HenryKibble It commonly goes on sale for next to nothing. It is one of the most over-rated games that exists imo.

I think the Panzer remake sucks big time. I don't need another one at all.

I enjoyed the show's trailer. I'm going to watch it with a very open mind. My family are big OP fans.

Probably a christmas present for my kids. One of the few problems of being such a robust system is I have so many games for it and can wait.

Obviously F Zero and Star Fox...but I think the family would really dig Nintendogs. But maybe make it more interactive or fun rather than a Tamagotchi.

Pocket Tactics does phone games. So every Switch game they review is a 10. Ignore that one.

As I read into the review more - I would have put the game lower. Taking out the real co-op for shooting gems, stars, pikmin chips, whatever is a significant downgrade to the co-op play on 3 in my opinion.

I really hate Nintendo's approach to shooting things which doesn't help gameplay at all's approach to co-op this gen.

The review would have needed to be an absolute disaster for me to not get Pikmin 4. Like "game was a buggy mess Miyamoto's legacy now tarnished" level bad.

so...no chance I wouldn't be picking this one up almost immediately.

@Angelic_Lapras_King I just bought my 2nd copy. Because of kids at my house who lost the cart when switching discs.

It is always the go to game when lots of kids are over.

Florida is much closer and Universal is a fun park.

I've watched a lot of videos on the park - some recently. Waiting in long lines, teeney tiny section of the park, over-priced junk, one "interactive" ride. It looks like a living hell to me.

@sunny63 I'm not. He gets a pass from me no matter what. Stardew is one of my favorite games of any generation - and I love how only a singular human is responsible for an entire industry chasing him - and failing miserably in the process. Even the game that inspired him can't get it right.

@Doomcrow if you are buying games from Best Buy you are never getting the best price. So you are getting no discount ever. Instead, you are forcing yourself to buy more than you need/can ever play. It is beyond dumb.
