I really greatly enjoyed the last series but I don't expect I will enjoy this one - due to the departure of Ellis as the writer/director.

I still enjoy the animation here - but the VA is really bad and it lacks the desperation of the first series.

@JohnnyMind hopefully the next Nintendo console. Games like Elden Ring and AC6 shouldn't be played here imo. They are far too hifi and deserve a console that can handle it.

Nothing wrong with that mind you. It is why I usually own two systems. I did read the game was optimized for the Deck. Might be a good optiuon. I think I'll pick up the ROG Ally sometime next year. Unless Nintendo says more about their new offering. cheers! AC is fantastic I am so happy From is getting into other games besides Souls. I hold them in high esteem like I do Capcom and Nintendo.

I do not think it is as hard as Souls games. Instead of brutal difficulty at the onset - it takes the traditional route. easier beginning > ramping up the difficulty as you figure things out and get better.

I'm still super early in the game but it all looks so cool. Love it!

@BANJO it would never chart of course but I bet Pikmin 3 got a huge lifetime sales boost from the Switch. Like all really good WiiU exclusives I imagine the ports really took off with this popular system.

I literally bought the Switch because Bayonetta 2 was on it. Bayo 2 came in the box with my first Switch.

I'm really happy to see Armored Core hanging tough up there as well. It is a great game and From Soft is firing on all cylinders.

That is one disgustingly ugly remake.

I am worried that the new Warioware won't have much VA. I thought Get It Together suffered without a bigger chunk of Martinet. Even an impersonator would be welcome. or a new voice. We just need better cutscenes than GiT.

@Olmectron that is what I want. A slot for old carts with a new giant slot for giant, new games.

I really hope it isn't just a Switch with more under the hood. That seems so anti-Nintendo to me. I'll want it. Both the X and PS are so severely lacking in everything - that Nintendo will do it better - I just want something completely new.

I'm playing the game on gamepass because I have it - but I plan on getting this game physically down the road on the Switch. Game is too good not to play on this gen's greatest system.

@Not_Soos Sony and especially Microsoft really underprint physical copies - they can be quite hard to find sometimes. I end up having to order them more often than not.

I hope they move on from this iteration of Zelda and start working on next gen's game. That isn't this Zelda game.

I would welcome a smaller, more compact Zelda like the Gameboy Advanced ones.

I like having bad games no one loves on the system. These I would consider rare and would never buy - so they might as well be preserved somewhere.

I'm muddling my way through P Scarlet. At the end of the three main storylines. It bothers me that the below average game is hanging on my neck like a backlog albatross. I want to get to the system's better rpgs...but I'll have Starfield in a few days.

Sea of Stars on the XSX. Man the game is really good. I hope they are successful with it. i don't see how they won't be with Sony and MS's money already in their pocket and Switch sales climbing.

I honestly hope Pokemon sees a drastic drop in sales this month. The cards have shown that interest is waning - I know they will still sell millions - but I hope the percentage drops are very visible. 20-40% drop from Arceus and S/S DLC would make my heart sing.

This article coming from the UK you don't know this but Rugrats and other 90s Nickelodeon titles is part of black culture here in the states. I see it often - jackets, hoodies, other clothes everywhere. Might have something to do with it.

@GunValkyria Just because Microsoft tells you digital is the way doesn't mean it is so. Trashy, horrible games like this bomb anyway - enough of them bomb - THEY go away - not the reverse.

I really like the cover are on this one. The white along with the vibrancy works well for me.

@Serpenterror dern! I wonder why they wouldn't even bother with a digital? That seems crazy i am sure there are 1000s of people over there who would be curious enough to plunk down the money - at the least. Skyrim did well over there.

@Serpenterror I don't know that Balder's will be popular in the east. AC used to have a pretty big following in Japan. Less so in the states.

I think this one is unbelievably boring compared to TotK, Pokemon and Splatoon recent OLEDs. I hate this one actually because of how uninspired it is.

Make it a GD elephant for chrissakes.

I hope AC6 sells millions. It is so great.

@Serpenterror I went to arcades well injto the late 90s because of Pinball. Today, I still go to pinball arcades. Video pinball will never be like Pinball.

Elevator Action was my favorite coin-op game growing up. My little brother and I used to run around hotels playing Elevator Action (essentially a multi-level tag) when we were wee lads.

GD we must have been so annoying - and ripe for kidnapping. I guess we weren't cute enough.

September (and October) goes wholly to the Xbox. Their exclusives are too massive to ignore until Wonder and Warioware drops.

For the cons listed - I would have put this game as a 5 at best - but likely much lower. I take that back - I personally would have not reviewed the game - because it is an old game so it needs no review. You can look up old reviews when it was current.

A $50 bare bones port on a 13 year old game in no way should be considered "great" - because it is objectively not great. Everyone supporting publishers getting lazier and lazier with each passing month is going to bring very bad things on this hobby. Well, the bad things are here - worse things.

@Daniel36 It's a valid point but watching the 1000 episodes themselves is what the fun is about. OP has a really goofy art style, VA and story. There is no need to "catch up" quick. The whole point is the goofiness.

My kids and I started watching them from Epi 1 last year....we are just over the 100th (where they get Chopper on board) and we love it. We take out time.

The filler in this cartoon is great. Some of the funniest episodes are the filler. For example there is a 2 episode arc where Buggy and the little dude stuck in the treasure chest chest get in adventures. It was so stupid and funny. Worth watching because the entire story I about being stupid. The biggest heroes in it are idiots and everyone watching it should happily be an idiot too.

I love One Piece.

@OrtadragoonX ooof that is awful. I stopped playing the game because it was so jank compared to the other consoles. I may pick it up on the series X but tbh I dont want to invest the time to learn it. Shame because the real NBA is my jam.

Scam games have been around forever. When I was a little kid looking for C64 games I'd buy it for the box - nothing in the game worked past 30 minutes or so.

They evolve over time but the more they change the more they stay the same.

@blindsquarel they are promoting a tv show. They probably have a publicist telling them to say something about video games - so they can in turn forward them to the blogs - the 100% target audience here. They may even write him a script honestly.

@Dm9982 NBA2K always runs more than 40GB. The latest is 53. It's ridiculous and a huge turnoff.

I'm looking forward to watching the show. Besides the maybe poor casting of Usopp (he might be funny but he sure doesn't look like Usopp) and the fact Arlong doesn't look very intimidating - I think it looks pretty good.

People feel a certain way about Bethesda being bought by MS - but imho they seem to be flourishing under new management. At least from a product into our hands standpoint.

I tired of Zen "revolutionizing" their game every few years just so they can sell you the same tables over and over again. FX3 was the last one I'll invest money or time in.

@NTELLIGENTMAN there are dozens upon dozens of articles detailing why quake was such a big deal. It is more than the game itself.

@shgamer more people will tell you that Q2 is one of the greatest FPSs ever made than will tell you 1>2.

If you got 12 hours out of a $10 game (or maybe $3 since it's constantly on sale) then that is money well spent.

Not having Vampire Survivors as a Highlighted game is a mistake.

It doesn't look like most of the hits are even registering.

I'm all for being inspired by great games - but this one looks particularly bad.

@rjejr taking out the co-op of 3, which is one of my favorite co-ops maybe of all time, is absolutely baffling to me. It feels so anti-nintendo to step back from couch co-op.

I really hate the fake "co-op" where the other person shoots stars, or corn or whatever. It feels like it was created as a gateway for babies and adds nothing to gameplay. I let my "babies" play it (Mario Odyssey)while I drove when they were around 4 years old and they were bored within minutes. As was I. Not with Mario but with the shooting stars thing that Pikmin has.
