Super fun so far! The creator has announced he is working on new modes and colors as well, so we'll see where that leads.

Re: Japanese Charts: Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Can't Compete With Mario Kart World

@TheExile285 both games have amazing ideas, but don't execute them in a way that works for me (and others, of course, but I assume you want my perspective on lol). World's concept with the Routes is great on paper, but in percatice, it isn't particularly fun for most players. Meanwhile, CrossWorlds' take on this, with the portal system, is much better. In exchange, though, it's very hard to watch due to a weird blurriness (at least on the PS5 version); World has a much more pleasing aesthetic, but the aforementioned issue with Routes. So the games are sort the antithesis to one another! 😆 (Which I guess means saying they share issues is false, it's more like they traded issues? Lol)

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (20th September)

I am at long last playing Undertale, it's pretty good! I am also continuing to enjoy Palia's ranching update, and as always getting in some games of Switch Sports. Party games are heavily featured, actually, since my cousins and siblings and I all got together, so we are playing MarioKart World and Smash Ultimate a lot! Also, Splatterbot - very fun little game!

Re: Review: Donkey Kong Bananza: DK Island & Emerald Rush (Switch 2) - DLC That's Ripe With Fun, But Could've Been More

@JimNorman not to nitpick, but while I get being surprised by the Booster Course Pass announcement (who wasn't, after all), Happy Home Paradise came to New Horizons at the end of a consistent update cycle. I understand being caught off guard by that, though. Side Order, on the other hand, was announced literally before the game released! I don't see how that was a shock. Anyway, nice review, I think I agree with the 7/10. I do think if you picture it as 5 bucks for the Island and 15 for the game mode, it's somewhat more bearable.

I want to start by complimenting @Ryu_Niiyama for putting out such a clear, neutral statement and sticking with it. Even I had started with that, the moment I got a disagreeable reply I would have tripped and fallen down the "you're a hater" hole lol! So kudos to you!
I definitely agree that there are issues, but unfortunately they aren't particularly easy to circumvent. If coverage is ever expanded, that will be fantastic, but I have my doubts as to whether that is something we can actually expect anytime soon.
