The new mode is pretty fun! I like being able to go to DK Isle. Hopefully we get a crossover with MKWorld soon, though!

@N00BiSH I think we must be opposites - all the other changes bugged you but not me, and vice versa here! 🤣 We are doomed to disagree. I do second you point as to being confused on the "reasoning." Why did this one swap? It makes no sense - especially since, iirc, the MPJamboree S2E had the old VA.

@NintendoWife @thenikdavies @NFrealinkling (and @others-who-are-saying-they-wantwd-single-player-content) it seems that there will be new levels/story, as well. The "main" draw is the entirely new mini games, but there are more levels coming as well - and Koopaling boss fights!!

@N00BiSH I shoulda known you'd mention that 😂 But actually, I noticed two. It is so jarring. I didn't mind for Mario because, yes, Charles was iconic in the role, but Mario didn't say much more than "Whaoo!" Same with his cohorts - so their voice changes can be ignored. But the Talking Flower literally is named after his voice. It's super odd to me hearing a different voice - makes me wonder what happened.

Yoshi looks typically adorable, but also (as per the norm) far too slow and plodding for me. The stopmotion animation style is very cute, nonetheless.
I never bothered with Galaxy 2, but having both games available on the go sounds like a dream, so I will certainly grab them!
I am very excited for the Koopalings' grand return! The Wonder S2E looks very fun.
The tennis game looks, at the very least, as though it won't be a horrible game at launch - plenty of content, even if it's not my jam.
I for one am excited for the Mario Galaxy Movie! More sadistic Luma, please.
No 3D Mario is the best part of this Direct - I know that's dumb, but I didn't want one yet. No Luigi's Mansion 4 was a surprise though, even if I am nonplussed about it.

@Olliemar28 Heyo! The Mario Wonder S2E is called "Meetup in Bellabel Park;" the article misspelled it as "Bellebel." Just a heads up!

I personally don't want or expect a 3D Mario to appear, but what do I know? My biggest hopes are:

• Twilight Princess full remake/remaster (I forget the difference lol)

I highly doubt we are getting DS games on NSO. The only possibility I see is DS on the base tier and 3DS on the Expansion Pass. But again, that's not happening, imo.

@AussieMcBucket I usually see /s as serious, and /sar as sarcastic.... Well, I suppose that right there is proof that even a tone indicator won't always convey the intended tone!

@AussieMcBucket tone tags are when you end off a sentence or paragraph with / followed by an indication of the "tone" you wish to convey. For example:

• /J - Joking
• /S - Serious
• /Gen - Genuine
  And the list goes on! Very helpful stuff!

@hisownsidekick @AussieMcBucket I suppose that's why "tone tags" are so popular - they help convey the intention slightly better, even if it can't match the precision of speaking in-persin and using verbal inflection. Also, I meant to mention this previously: I have always pronounced "err" like "air," but it's interesting to hear that it started out differently!

Value is definitely subjective, but SS having such a low price point did actually affect my opinion on other things. Glad to see NLife bring it up! It's hard to figure out how much something should cost so that it is worth it for the buyer and the seller!

@Ryu_Niiyama oh, we've played it on NSO, too! She just liked the look of this (which is hilarious because of her usual reaction to games) and anytime she and I can play together is a good time.

My mom played GoldenEye 007 with her brother on their N64 as a kid. She could beat him, and she still brags about that. Even though she doesn't game a ton with us, she showed some interest in this - so I might snag it to play with her! ☺️

@Ellie-Moo it's still a super fun game! Obviously, if you haven't played in a while, you'll have to "catch up" to everyone else in terms of skill, but I'm sure you'll get back into the groove pretty quickly.

As someone in the minority of "Those Who Really Liked the Design of the Sportsmates and Prefers them to Miis in Certain Scenarios," I would have loved if DxD had somehow been part of a Switch Sports S2E. (I really want that anyway, but I think it might have made more people willing to give it a go.) Miis are still fantastic as little avatars to use in whatever capacity Nintendo allows (MKWorld would have been great to have, even if I would never bother.), but I really do like the Sportsmates!

Not a horror guy myself, but the review seems to suggest this isn't too scary.... For only 5 bucks, I might pick this one up. Though that's what I said about the last few games I bought for a good price, all of which are nestled nicely into my backlog. So maybe I shouldn't grow that any more 😅

I do love the little sparkles Nintendo adds to their games! Some of this game has rough edges, animation-wise, but these idle animations are not included there!

I am not particularly good at games, but I have always loved Hollow Knight. That said, my inability to git gud has meant that, as we speak (type? read? whatever), I am working through the game, still! I have attempted the Mantis Lords multiple times, but hopefully I will actually be at them soon enough! Regardless of whether or not I finish, I will be getting Silksong on Day 1 - I've waited too long not to! Wish me luck in finishing out this boss, and remember... Silksong _{(in a few)} Tomorrow _(s)!
