I know this isn't technically the same, but I am wondering: Everyone hails DKC:TF as (and this is a quote) "The greatest 2D platformer of all time. What makes it so amazing?? I borrowed it once on Switch, played 3 levels, and gave it back because I was not enjoying it. Is it a slow starting game or something??

As someone who has 0 streaming services (Netflix, Disney +, etc.) I can say that as much as I would have loved VC in that I would "own" the games, it is still only a digital copy. Subscription services like NSO can remove games, yes, but having it digitally is not really any safer (as proven by Concord) and is far more costly. I will gladly drop my yearly payment of ~50 bucks for NSO+, thank you very much.

@dartmonkey Actually, there is an arm-wing minifig piece already. So it wouldn't have cost any extra to add it to Celeste's 'fig. In addition, there are posable short legs, which this set opted not to use. Just wanted to put that out there.

As someone who plays 99% handheld, I will absolutely be getting a Lite version if it releases. Until then, however? BRING ON THE MEGA SCREEN!!! 🗣🗣🗣

• "Swicth 2 Lite" will also be announced, with an OLED screen and a $450 pricepoint.
• Something for Splatoon's 10th Anniversary.... I won't say what but those who know me know exactly what copium I'm huffing....
• 3D Mario for the 40th Anniversary.
• KID ICARUS UPRISING AS A LAUNCH TITLE PLEASE.

While the game has its issues, I have been playing since it launched on Switch and absolutely adore it! My friends and I actually play this more than Animal Crossing, which is the only other sim we play at all.

@Slobbert It is not clickbait if they are using the exact words of Nintendo. Get mad at the advertisers, but not NLife.

@Slobbert Yes, but they are mostly "reruns" in that they are technically new themes but mostly recycled, we are only getting the seasonal ones, the gear is only returning stuff, and we don't get new TriColor stages.

I still listen to Three Wishes on an almost-daily basis....

Also, @nintendolife Question 9 is oddly worded IMO. Perhaps "Which of these 2024 apps launched first?" As is, I thought it meant which one first came out this year, so since ACPCC was a rerelease and PTGP is not exactly original, I voted Nintendo Music. Just a thought.

March is pretty late, whereas January is so close to Christmas that kids who finally got a Switch will feel like they are instantly outdated. February gets (and has had for the past year) my bet.
