@whitespy12 Nothing like any of the games you mentioned, but if you are looking for another liveservice game to sink your teeth into, might I recommend Palia? Free to play, and very fun. (If you do try it let me know so I can give you my referral code and get a bonus please lol!)

I know everyone will be hating on it because "F2P=EVIL YUCKY BAD THINGS" but this, Palia, and Fall Guys are some of my most-liked games. Free to Play isn't bad, and while this one having paid Hunters (IE Pay to Win practices) was annoying, it was still a solid experience! It will be missed.

I went with Splatoon 3, but that was honestly just one of many. Honorable mentions to Palia, Hollow Knight, Switch Sports, and Smash Ultimate.

@obijuankanoobie I have played a good chunk of it at a friend's house, but yeah I just might grab it secondhand.... After Switch 2 launches that is. Till then my wallet is sealed up tight!!

@KayFiOS totally agree with them being too pricey, but they were finished at launch, the bonus characters are not technically needed for the full experience. It's not like whole modes we're missing. Getting tired of people hating on those for something that they didn't do, or at least didn't do as badly as, say, Nintendo Switch Sports, or Animal Crossing (two games which I, for the record, really love).

If Odyssey were discounted I'd be tempted to finally snag it, but as is none of these interest me (much as I want to support the Mario + Rabbids games).

I genuinely want to see Switch Sports 2. I have tons of idea for new and returning sports that not only use the classic motion control styles, but could also implement mouse mode. For example, imagine a Foosball mode where you move the sticks using the "Mousecon" and tap ZR/ZL to flick. There are a ton of possibilities and it would be a nice "1-2-Switch" style game that could be a very cheap (or even bundled with the console) way to show off new features in an accessible way.

I know we can't see who voted what, but to whomever voted "Abysmal" I say get outta here. Happy tenth, Nintendo Switch!

My younger brother has been loving Kirby's Epic Yarn on our Wii. I can't stand Kirby because it feels too slow/easy for me (I am awful at games, but I like to feel like I am improving, not waltzing thru the park lol) but I love watching him have a blast! Happy birthday, HAL!!

Too bad this never went F2P, but that's the way of the world I suppose. I'll stick to Palia for my cozy gaming, even if I am just about the only one here (including the writers 😔😔) who actually brings the updates up. My friend and I love playing it, always glad to see cozy games being noticed.

I really don't want another system on NSO until the current ones have a beefier lineup. I will never play most of the currently available titles, but I still want options. Besides, DS is probably coming before 3DS.

Also, I would rather we get Kid Icarus and ALBW in HD rather than just ports. Especially Uprising... that control scheme was wonky lol.

Never gotten around to a Xenoblade game, but if this can be played without needing prior knowledge of the series I will absolutely pick it up!!

Mario Sports Mix is genuinely one of my top 10 games.

Never played this, but the other Wii game crossing Mario with Dragon Quest is still a favorite in my family: Mario Sports Mix!

As an avid Splatoon copium addict, I can say without a shadow of a doubt that THIS TIME FOR REAL we are getting a February Direct and that's when we'll actually get 3rd kits. Trust me on this one, I have never been wrong about when 3rd kits are dropping before.... (Seriously though, I do expect that to happen.)

Palia would absolutely benefit. Hunting can be a pain with stick controls, so I would love gyro, but using a mousecon would be good too!

I have no interest in a non-Nintendo system.

...Or at least I didn't till this released. Now I am stuck not wanting to spend that much money but not having any friends with a PS5 so I can't even visit them to try it out.

My max price is $500 USD.... for now. If it is somehow $650 or something crazy but it has some huge feature I want then I may change.
