I've been playing Grapple Dog which was fun but the swinging mechanic gets a bit frustrating later on because you need to get just the right angel when swinging. Also played some Cat Quest which started off fun but is getting repetitive quickly.
Got Luigi's Mansion 2 coming in the post so will play that or Twilight Princess HD.
I must confess despite owning Nintendo Land since launch I never actually played it. Need to fix that issue.
Wii Fit U also had some unique games on it too. Although the trampoline one where you put the game pad on the floor in front of the balance board is a disaster waiting to happen.
I'm playing Ratchet and Clank A Crack In Time on the PS3 which I'm enjoying along with a dose of Splatoon 3 which I keep going back to. Happy gaming everyone.
I've just finished Splatoon 3's Side Order DLC and now am considering Steamworld Dig 2, I really enjoyed the first one and the sequel should be better. Also my weekly Ring Fit Adventure workout.
For me it's any games I've already played over and over such as Ocarina of Time. I just feel like I'm grinding through the game because I know where I'm going and know the answer to the puzzles. Also you don't have any feeling of discovery and I already know what's going to happen with the story.
Jumping back into Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for me. Despite it being a ported Wii U game I still think the graphics look beautiful. Also my weekly Ring Fit Adventure fix.
Metroid Prime Remastered for me. I have just one more artifact to collect and then I'm right near the end. Also the Tetris 99 Event to get a new theme.
I decided to try and be more outgoing so have some activities booked in this weekend but really all I want to do is keep playing Metroid Prime Remastered. Will get some play time in but not as much as I want.
I've finished Crisis Core Final Fantasy 7 Reunion and now onto Super Mario Bros. Wonder, am loving it so far. Also thinking about playing Metroid Prime Remastered.
I'm playing Bioshock but am in two minds about whether to carry on. Have played about four hours but am finding it annoying. At the same time it is interesting and gives me some bizarre dreams.
I didn't really enjoy Scarlet even without the performance issues. The open world felt very bland at times, didn't enjoy the story and for me most of the gym leaders were irritating. The tera raid battles could be a bit of a mess sometimes too. Legends Arceus on the other hand is one of my favourite Switch games.
Well it looks like I can wreak even more havoc with the trusty ink brush now you move faster and use less ink when moving. Very handy for Clam Blitz mode.
I'll be playing Tetris 99 event and Ring Fit Adventure. Have recently finished Alwas Legacy which was great so I'm thinking about playing The Messenger as I've had it for ages but never played yet.
@Mehmori The price tag of Famicom Detective Club put me of too. I still want to get them but since I haven't played the recent Ace Attorney games I'll get those first.
I'm playing Evergate which is a cool puzzle platformer, hope to complete it this weekend. Also Kirby Mouse Attack/Squeak Squad because you can never go wrong with a Kirby game.
My usual Ring Fit Adventure and Alwas Legacy to round it all off. Happy gaming everyone.
I'm playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, enjoying all the new tracks and now going for 3 stars on all the 200 CC mode tracks, it's so fast. Have also beat the staff ghosts so now I have all the golden kart parts.
Also playing Ring Fit Adventure, Tetris 99 event and Kirby Mouse Attack on the DS.
Kirby's Pinball Land is my favourite, it felt so unique at the time and I liked having bosses in a pinball game. Metroid Prime Pinball was great too but if I remember correctly you couldn't save your game and had to do everything in one sitting.
I like the decorations. Am hoping for another big run with the Grizzco Dualies again, I loved how there's an explosion of ink when you do a dodge roll.

Re: My Nintendo Store Reveals Donkey Kong Country Returns HD Pre-Order Bonuses & Bundle (UK)
I'm tempted to double dip as I have the Wii version but not sure I want to pay full price again. I already did that with Tropical Freeze.
Re: Random: Takaya Imamura Ponders The Possibility Of Star Fox Zero On 'Switch 2'
Although I really enjoyed Star Fox Zero I'd rather a brand new Star Fox game.
Re: Reaction: With Xenoblade Chronicles X On Switch, The Wii U's Demise Is Complete
@BANJO I really enjoyed Devil's Third and Star Fox Zero too, had great fun with those games.

Re: Sonic X Shadow Generations Surpasses One Million Sales In Opening Weekend
Good news, it would be cool if they added the levels from the 3DS version of Sonic Generations as paid DLC
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (26th October)
Splatfest for me and maybe some Ring Fit Adventure.
Re: Video: Sonic X Shadow Generations Graphics Comparison (Switch, Xbox 360, PS5)

Re: Splatoon 3's 'Splatoween' Event Returns With A Spooky Splatfest
Nice to have another Splatfest because I missed the last one. My initial reaction was to choose knight but they're all good choices.

Got hooked on Splatoon 3 again so playing lots of that. Need to get on with decorating my bedroom unfortunately.

Yoshi's Wooly World on Wii U. The graphics still look awesome today and I hope it gets a Switch port. Almost finished the game 100%
Re: Splatoon 3 Physical Release Bundled With Expansion Pass DLC Announced
I might consider if the DLC is on the card but if it's a download code then I'm not interested.

@WreckitRyan Same here with the physics.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (29th June)
@Zuljaras I'd love a Castlevania DS collection too, even though I own the DS games.

Ori and the Blind Forest for me. Looking forward to the Big Big Run on Splatoon 3 next weekend.
Re: Talking Point: Which Games Were Just The Perfect Length?
Zelda: Twilight Princess for me. I like how you learn new combat skills and get different items throughout the game to keep things interesting.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (11th May)
Metroid Prime Remastered for me. I have just one more artifact to collect and then I'm right near the end. Also the Tetris 99 Event to get a new theme.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (13th April)
I've finished Super Mario Wonder and am sure there's some post game stuff to do but I can't be bothered with it, the game felt quite gimmicky to me.
Will be going for some Splatoon 3 and Metroid Prime Remastered.
Happy gaming everyone.

I've finished Crisis Core Final Fantasy 7 Reunion and now onto Super Mario Bros. Wonder, am loving it so far. Also thinking about playing Metroid Prime Remastered.

Re: Poll: So, Will You Be Getting Princess Peach: Showtime! For Switch?
It's not a priority for me at the moment but I might buy the game sometime this year
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (16th March)
I'm playing Crisis Core Final Fantasy 7 Reunion. Near the end of the story now. It's making me want to play the original Final Fantasy 7 again.
Also playing Wario Land 2 on the GBC as I couldn't wait for it to come to Switch Online.
Re: Where To Pre-Order Princess Peach: Showtime! On Switch
I'm going to hold back and see what reviews say. Super Princess Peach on the DS was great but this is a very different game.
Re: Splatoon 3: Fresh Season 2024 - Every New Weapon, Stage & Feature

Splatfest for me and God of War 3 Remastered on PS4 which I'm really enjoying. Happy gaming everyone.
Re: Poll: So, Will You Be Getting Mario vs. Donkey Kong For Switch?
I'm tempted to play the original on the GBA instead which I already own. I just like the game being on the small screen with it's retro sounds.
Re: Best Donkey Kong Games Of All Time
Donkey Kong Country 2 has never been beaten for me. I wish they had remade Donkey Kong 94 as it would look nice with some colour.
We need a new 2D Donkey Kong game.
Re: Scarlet & Violet Are Now The Third Best-Selling Pokémon Games Of All Time
I didn't really enjoy Scarlet even without the performance issues. The open world felt very bland at times, didn't enjoy the story and for me most of the gym leaders were irritating. Re: Round Up: The Previews Are In For Penny's Big Breakaway

I haven't played Smash for ages, this might be what I need to jump back in.

@sikthvash I think previously you only got marked if you were hit by one of the waves. If you jumped over it you wouldn't be marked.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (Christmas 2023 Edition)
I've almost finished The Messenger which is a great game. Am considering Pikmin 4 next but not sure.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (December 16th)
I'll be playing Tetris 99 event and Ring Fit Adventure. Have recently finished Alwas Legacy which was great so I'm thinking about playing The Messenger as I've had it for ages but never played yet.
Re: 'Chico And The Magic Orchards DX' Is Like Zelda: Link's Awakening With More Puzzles
I honestly thought it was an old Gameboy Colour game that I had missed. Looking forward to this one, reminds me of Billy Hatcher too.
