Had fun with Tony Hawk 3 on GameCube although my friend said the PS2 controller was much better suited for Tony Hawk games. I enjoyed Downhill Jam on the Wii it was a decent game which was controlled by holding the Wii remote sideways.
Sonic and Knuckles 3 is my timeless favourite. Sonic Rush comes second. Sonic Mania is great but some of the levels aren't original so I put it in third. Really enjoy most of the 2D Sonic games in the list though.
@brunojenso I think the first Game Gear Sonic is identical to the Master System version, only the Master System version has a bigger screen area and runs smoother.
Metroid Zero Mission, am lost trying to find the power bomb, it's not a Metroid game if you don't get lost occasionally. Think I've almost finished the game so Super Metroid will be next.
Also Kaze and the Wild Masks now as I've managed to get the update to download after clicking the continue button about 15 times. Fancy some MK8 Deluxe too.
Will give the motion controls a go first but can see myself going back to standard controls soon after. Motion controls might draw some people to the game though so it's good to include them.
Have pre-ordered Kaze and the Wild Masks and Skyward Sword HD. Thinking about Mario Golf too but I have Mario Tennis Aces and haven't even played it yet so maybe I should try that first.
Finished Ring Fit Adventure, the final boss was so hard I'm aching. Also going to finish Tales of Xillia and then not sure what game I'll go for next as my physical version of Kaze and the Wild Masks hasn't arrived yet.
I want the Amiibo because it looks nice. However am not sure I will buy it because of the price and I've already pre-ordered the special edition joy cons as well as Skyward Sword HD. Using the Amiibo might be counter productive anyway because you'll collect less rupees and resources along the way which helps you get better stuff in the game.
Just finished GaiaSeed on PS One, it's an excellent schmup . Also finished Rocket Knight on PS3 which is really fun. Onto Tales of Xillia next after having a break from the game, must be near the end now. Might grab some MK8 Deluxe too.
My save file for Kirby and the Amazing Mirror got corrupted so am having to start again.
I've still got Fire Emblem Heroes and Dragon Quest Heroes 2 to get through first which will take me ages. Although for some reason Dragon Quest Heroes appeals to me more than Age of Calamity which is a surprise.
I really like the look of the Amiibo but if I buy it am not sure I'm going to take it out of the box anyway. I don't remember the traveling being very inconvenient in Skyward Sword.
The first game got really annoying for me because of the card mechanics but I heard this was improved in the second game Origins. Not really bothered if we get another game in the series.
Will be finishing Shantae Half Genie Hero. Also playing Graceful Explosion Machine which is really addictive despite me thinking it wasn't for me. Need to get back to Tales of Xillia and Kirby and the Amazing Mirror too.
I still need to play Burnout Paradise. For some reason I don't play racing games often even though I enjoy them. Tend to get carried away with other types of games.
Burnout 3 Takedown was my favourite, was so hooked on that game.
Also Kirby and the Amazing Mirror on GBA which I'm enjoying, have to keep playing often to remember the structure of the levels as it's important for making progress.
@sonicbooming After reading your comment about Kaze and the Wild Masks have checked and it looks like there's a physical version being released so I'll be getting the physical, thanks.
Really enjoyed The Last Story, it's one of my favourite Wii games. Shame it's not getting a remaster but I'd prefer a completely new game over the remaster.
@riggs I didn't realise there was a Kururin Paradise, I've played the first game and Kururin Squash on the Gamecube but somehow missed Paradise - will have to check it out, thanks.
Also, Astroboy: Omega Factor is a cool game, very tricky getting the true ending.

Haven't watched the anime in a long long time. Think I finished the season before Diamond and Pearl. Wonder if that's on Netflix.

Might give it a go but have realised I haven't finished World of Light yet, it's massive.

@Zach777 I get the impression there's no new spirits.

Re: Zelda: Skyward Sword HD Will Have "Various Quality-Of-Life Enhancements", Nintendo Says
I always found the motion controls a problem with the Ghirahim battles but think I will switch to standard controls for those brief sections.
Would like it if they improved the speed of the beetle too.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (June 5th)
I've started Metroid Zero Mission on GBA, thought I preferred it to Fusion but have changed my mind.

My favourite Gameboy Color is the one with the backlight
Re: Reminder: Five NES And SNES Games Hit Switch Today, Plus A Special Version Of Super Mario Kart
Looking forward to Magical Drop 2, that was on my wishlist but now I won't have to buy it.
The SP version of Mario Kart is great, I always hated having to play through 50cc mode, it's so boringly slow.
Re: Reminder: Five NES And SNES Games Hit Switch Today, Plus A Special Version Of Super Mario Kart
@liljmoore I want a new Golden Sun game too.

@Shiiva Me too, am looking forward to playing without having to regularly calibrate the controls too.
Re: Hardware Review: RetroN Sq - An Affordable Way To Play The Entire Game Boy Library On Your Big Screen TV
I would mainly use it for GBA games so is a no from me unless there's improvements. Already have a Gameboy Player anyway.
Re: Dragon Quest 35th Anniversary Stream Will Reveal New Game Information
I'd like to be able to play Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride on Switch, the DS version costs a fortune to buy pre-owned.
Re: Bandai Namco Just Registered Trademarks For The GameCube Exclusive Series Baten Kaitos
The first game got really annoying for me because of the card mechanics but I heard this was improved in the second game Origins. Not really bothered if we get another game in the series.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (May 1st)
Shantae Half Genie Hero, Kirby and the Amazing Mirror and maybe the first Oceanhorn game. Have a good weekend everyone.
Re: How Do You Feel About Mario After His 35th Anniversary? Nintendo Apparently Wants To Know
Am still hoping for Galaxy 2, Mario's anniversary was ok but I don't think the timed releases went down very well with people.
I want to know what they're doing with Zelda this year now.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (April 16th)
Super Mario 3D World & Bowser's Fury.
Also Kirby and the Amazing Mirror on GBA which I'm enjoying, have to keep playing often to remember the structure of the levels as it's important for making progress.
Re: Deals: Ring Fit Adventure Is Down To Just £59.99 In The UK

Re: Rumour: Sonic Colors Remaster Listed In Localisation Company's Credits
I'd be up for a remaster of Sonic Colours.
Re: Rumour: Sonic Colors Remaster Listed In Localisation Company's Credits
@Beatrice Sonic Colours is one of the better Sonic games, came out in Wii but you didn't need motion controls. Fun game.
Re: The Lightbringer Is A Poetic Adventure Heading To Nintendo Switch This Year
Just looks a bit bland from the trailer to me. Don't think I'll bother with this one but will check out the review when it lands.
Re: The Lightbringer Is A Poetic Adventure Heading To Nintendo Switch This Year
@Yodalovesu I knew it reminded me of another game, definitely looks like Elli.

I'm still hoping for Super Mario Galaxy 2 in HD once the anniversary is out of the way. Seeing the first game in HD was lovely.
