hopefully the next system update will have more option for organizing the games we have on our systems.
also Nintendo needs to add official support for GameCube controller adapter as well as GameCube controllers. when i have the GameCube controllers synced with the system with the controller adapter, i would like the controllers listed as "GameCube controller", not "wired controller".
it would also be nice if they released an updated version of the GameCube controller that has home and screen shot buttons. since the GameCube controllers do not have those buttons, it may be easier to release a controller adapter that does.
now that bear and bird are available as fighters; time to update attacks.
new attack type being that they can fight separately from each other.
when bear and bird separated; L LZ A & B as well as left control stick belong to bear. R RZ X & Y as well as right control stick belong to bird.
when separated A B X Y are for basic attach and just. L and are R buttons are for shield, grab and throw.
bear has backpack swing and back pack throw when on his own. kazooie has basic egg shot for attack and through. different types of eggs will be used for both throw and attack.
no special jump (B up attack) when separated. final smash changed when separated.
maybe Nintendo can update the Ice Climber fighters so that they can fight separately just like bear and bird.
and hopefully one day soon Microsoft will be kind to Nintendo and port both banjo-kazooie and banjo-tooie over to the nintendo switch.
since Nintendo is letting us buy them individually, they should let us pick which ones we want regardless of region. it would be nice to have both the north American and European versions of both. and possibly the super famicom version.
however, i like the colors on the north American version than on the European version. that particular favoritism may be caused by the amount of colors on the controllers. the amount of colors on the European version make the controller seem too busy.
now that is mystery is "solved"; Nintendo needs to port Super Mario 64 over to the Nintendo switch. maybe it could include an HD remake with multiplayer action (adding Luigi as an unlock-able character) as well as the ability to stay in a level after collecting a power star.
where is princess peach? shouldn't she be enjoying the watermelon with Mario? its summer, shouldn't they be at the park or the beach enjoying a Picnic?
why is the max 999,999,990 and not 999,999,999? is nintendo being mean to us? lol now to add something to this speed-run category; if possible not only max out the number of possible points, but find a way to make the point total reset back to zero and then max out on points again...
@Franklin
or better yet, why don't they update the calculator so that it gives mario the highest score possible by the time he has received his answer from the input provided. or they can always try to update the calculator so that your answer is shown in the point score for the level apon completion.
the calculator is fun to watch, too bad actual calculators don't work this way. now to upgrade the calculator. please add the ability to multiply or device numbers from one another. or even solve equations such as the Pythagoras Theorem. (A^2+B^2=C^2) example 3^2+4^2=5^2 (everyone knowing that the answer is 9+16=25
Mario would have a blast solving those equations....
regardless of what this article says, i am going to keep using the 2.4GHz network band because of how i have my network setup.
@LuciferOnReddit that only applies to 802.11n/ac which support both 2.4GHz and 5GHz. that issue doesn't happen with 802.11b; at least in my experience.
unfortunately @FrowningCoach, you are right about signal enhancers. they do suck. the last time i used one, i was using one to control the range, flow, current, and other aspects of the network signal. its great for eliminating interference and getting the most out of a wireless network, but not always worth the trouble and effort in takes to do so.
if nintendo is going to start deleting our levels due to what they call "corrupt data"; would it at least be possible to tell us what data was found in which they claim is corrupt?
it would be nice to know what they consider "corrupt data" in our beautifully created levels.
or better yet, maybe Nintendo can create a section just for our levels with glitches and "corrupt data". they have many categories and keywords available for when uploading a course. why not add "glitches" to the list.
at least then, Nintendo can have reason for trying to "hide" our levels from those who don't want to deal with the fun that is glitches...
i didn't even get a notification from amazon about this....maybe my sisters did. like they care about the wii u. however, they might to have an amazon fire TV device.
now for amazon prime video to come to the Nintendo switch....we also need Netflix on the Nintendo switch..
too bad you can't use this glitch to jump from one sub area of the level to the next.
hopefully, Nintendo will "accidentally" leave the glitch in the game. or "accidentally" add glitches that were found in some of the older super Mario bros. games.
why are they still making games for the Wii? if they are making a Wii version instead of a Wii U version; it must be a typo or a mistake. at least the Wii U can play Wii games. unfortunately (for them), they have to be put to rest.
does anyone know if the trailer for the GameCube version is on YouTube? besides, we all know it is our home away from home. in the words of k.k. slider: "have you ever wanted to move out; wanted a place of your own; than come to animal crossing, it is your home away from home."
you guys can correct me if i am accidentally paraphrasing him instead of quoting him.
and yes, i think i have the entire begining of the opening scene memorized. from when you first boot up the game where k.k. slider welcomes you to town all the way up to where tom took (the crook) welcomes you to town making you realize that you are broke with no money and no where to go. maybe rover that annoying cat from the train will make a return.
@AlphaElite
i agree with you on the statement: "I will always have more attachment to this game than any of its sequels."
i wonder what year the guy is at? is he cheating or just letting the clock move at its own pace. unfortunatly, i cheated to complete my catalog of items. (and some in which cannot be reordered)
unfortunately the calendar resets back to January 1st 2030 after reaching December 31st 2031. (but will only reset back to 2030 if you decide to turn your game off.) i wonder how far into the future the game can reach. (but i rather not leave my GameCube on for that long.) i want my GameCube to stay in good health for as long as possible.
hopefully the Nintendo switch version of the game will be just as good as the gamecube (and 3DS) version(s) of the game or better.
the Wii version of the game sucked, but only because you were forced to use the wii-remotes. (at least in my opinion.)
i might get one of these. (if the need to get one comes)
to bad there is not an option to make it playable for when you turn it on..... it would make an interesting way to sneak in video games before going to bed...
now to wait for the release of the N64 mini as well as a N64 controller adapter and an updated version of the GameCube controller adapter.
the controller adapter needs to be updated so that it includes a home button and a snapshot button. if we want to play our games with our favorite controller we shouldn't have to have a Nintendo switch controller synced to the system just so that we can have use of those buttons...
i almost forgot about the possibility of a N64 mini. thanks for the reminder. too bad they said something about not having plans on making one. (with the hint that their decision may change.) remind me; what was the name of the guy who made the announcement. i feel bad that i forgot his name.
no thanks on the switch mini, but a switch 2.0 will be welcome. one with a better processor and graphics card. one with more internal storage. maybe one that takes more than one micro SD card. maybe one with a better type of VR support.
and why would we want a switch mini when we already have a 3DS, unless the new switch system will be locked to its docking station. maybe they have some great idea of where it may have some compatibility with DS/3DS games. (some game updates required so that the games will be single screen instead of dual screen.)
but who knows what ideas that Nintendo came up with? some of the features that are included in super mario maker 2 are great and make it a must buy for those who want to make there own super mario levels.
hopefully Nintendo will put these rumors to rest and start showing us some more details on the game we love. like more details on super mario maker 2.
hopefully Nintendo will add an option to make it so that the levels can go back and forth between day and night while the user is exploring the course.
nintendo also needs to make it so that we can mix and match themes. imagine super mario world theme with super mario 3D world items and enimies or vice versa.
no thanks on this nintendo switch dock that looks like N64. i already have a dock for my system and i do not need a second. and i do not want one that could brick the system. but who knows maybe this one will be lucky and not have that stupid issue...
however, i will take a N64 mini classic for when Nintendo decides to release it. (if ever)
Nintendo could always update super Mario Odyssey to fix this issue. if it is at least to make it so that Mario will rest on the ledge in a parallel manor instead of a perpendicular manor. at least that way he does look as though he should have fallen off of the ledge.
or they could even make it so that mario actually falls off the ledge (assuming he falls asleep on one of them). that would make an excellent laugh for those who are a big fan of the game. i bet some of us can imagine him falling into a pool of lava in the luncheon kingdom level.
it is too bad i never noticed this issue. now i want him to have the ability to fall asleep during the 2D segments of the different kingdoms.
now it is time for nintendo to release an updated HD version of super mario 64 on the nintendo switch. the first (but minor) change would be the addition of HD graphics.
then the addition of two player mode. (hopefully split-screen) maybe them making it so that player one and player 2 having the capability to roam around in different levels instead of always being forced to always be in the same level like most two player games. also, the ability for one character to remain in the level even after the other one leaves once they have collected a power star.
maybe cappy will make an appearance once you have finished collecting all 120 stars giving you the ability to play through the game all over again with him.
also, the guy who made a modded version of super mario 64 of where cappy joins mario should team up with the buy who created the modded version of super mario 64 that adds multiplayer support. that would make a great mod version of the game. however the mechanics of cappy should be updated so that mario can capture underwater creatures. however, the issue of where mario instantly resurfaces to the surface apon throwing cappy is very useful at times. (issues with cappy = less chances of mario dying underwater)
why doesn't he just add the new character, instead of modifying a current one? what next, is he going to replace Mario with Wario and Luigi with Waluigi?
hopefully nintendo will keep their dedicated hardware consoles and systems around. i want to actually be able to own a copy of my game. and not have to pay the full price to "rent" the game.
is Detective Pikachu going to start appearing in the game "just dance" because of this or is Detective Pikachu going to become a has been and go back to being a beloved mascot for the pokemon company.
an option to become mayer in an election instead of it being forced apon you like it did in the 3ds version.
i hope nintendo allows us to pick the map type we want (gamecube, wii, DS, or 3DS). and makes it so that the town naturally evolves over time that way if we dont want our town to start with a shopping center like in the 3DS version; one could potentional appear in the future.
@Tirza let the season change on their own, but it would be nice to pick your towns region and time zone so that the seasons would match. time zone differences would be nice as well....
@KingKRoolMain an airport seems nice for traveling from town to town. (for international traveling.) but i would rather my villager arrive by train like in the gamecube version. the train works best for in city and in state town to town travel.
i just hope that using the joy-con controllers is optional. i would like an option to play with the pro controller. being forced to play with the wii-remotes in the wii version made me stop playing the game
update one: make a headstrap type thing so that you can wear the system like it were a heave set of glasses.
update two: make an update so that the player can use multiple controllers in the game.
controller set one (the joy-con controolers) would be used with the VR head set for the gyroscope capabilities and whatnot.
controller set two, would allow you to use the pro controller or a second set of joy-cons for controlling your character in the world around you.
update three would be slight tweacks making it so that having joy-con controllers attached to the VR head-set optional so that us game players can use the standard controller for changing the point of view of the character like always.
or Nintendo could make an actual head-set for use with the system. that way we won't be forced to put the system to our face and use the joy-cons in an uncomfortable manner.
a VR update for splatoon may be interesting. (assuming they create it so that you have the option from playing in first person view.) imagine you and all off your opponents enjoying a round of turf-war in VR from a first person point of view. 3rd person point of view may be acceptable.
VR for ARMS may be interesting, but for now lets see how Nintendo handles are feedback on VR and see if they release a few updates to fix the VR experience in these games.
an interesting experimemt for them would be for them to add VR to super mario bros. U deluxe or some other 2D platformer and see what happens. experiencing a 2D platformer from a different point of view may be interesting.
just imagine the possibilities for VR options in Super Mario Maker 2. nintendo adding VR support in that game can add more possibilities for level creation options. however, some 2D levels should never be played in VR mode and vise-versa.
its either that or its a sign that nintendo will be releasing an updated version of the nintendo switch. (and all walmart wants to do is clear their shelves to create room for the inventory...)
and yet, i never really cared about his feet. i more so assumed that those two blobs were his feet. besides, Kirby is not human. for all we know he has paws instead of feet...lol
or there is always the possibility that he has no feet and those two blobs attached to his body just help him move around like the shoes they were meant to be.
out of all of them, i like snake for google maps the best. besides it has the highest likelihood of actually happening. besides as it is google changes their home page every so often to match the different holidays. them adding a game of snake could go unnoticed.
and what features will this "nintendo switch pro" bring us? an additional USB port or two. duel HDMI video output (useful if having 8 players in super smash brothers), built-in gamecube controller ports, some kind of gamecube game compatibility, or something that will create a selling point for the system.
in terms of a trimmed down or stripped version of the nintendo switch, i am not interested. i always have my system plugged into the docking station. i would like them to add netflix, and amazon video.
some N64 games. we already have lots of NES games. we need to move onto the SNES and N64 games. it would be nice to be able to port over our virtual console games from our Wii and Wii U systems for free. having options to buy the same game multiple times is annoying.
of course then nintendo still needs to add an option for organizing the games we have for the nintendo switch. having a lot of games without being able to find them makes me less likely to buy new games for the system and the nintendo switch has games of interest...
thanks for the negative coment, but not everyone travels around with their nintendo switch system. and as it is you can attach the external hard drive to a nintendo switch case for when traveling.
and why are you thinking so much into the comment. you don't have to nickle and dime everyone's ideas. just enjoy them.
@TheFatPlumber i agree with you. Nintendo needs to add support for external hard drives. and do a better job of it than they did with the Wii U. i have at least a dozen external USB hard drives. it would be nice to be able to use them once again.
and yet another reason of why i will never play Pokemon GO. all this stupidity over these smart phone games just makes me feel sorry for people.
hopefully we will be able to save ourselves and stop Sarah Connor from being killed. the future of human kind depends apon it. its either that or the machines will rise up against us and take over.
unfortunately for us 90% of everything from most science fiction movies has come to pass and it is only a matter of time before it is too late...
being a professional photographer and a video game enthusiast, i am not sure of how i should be taking that grand complement. either way i am very flattered.
it is to bad that you can't get Nintendo themed camera cases and camera equipment. just imagine having Mario and Peach being together holding hands on a wide-angle camera lens.
or maybe peach, bowser, and Mario on a wide-angle lens. mario one one side, with bowser and peach on the other.
now Nintendo needs to release Luigi's mansion 3 on the Nintendo switch. maybe we will get lucky and we will see the other two games on the switch as well.
however the original game needs some updates. the different regional versions of the games have different difficulty levels to them.
all three having "the mansion" and "the hidden mansion" modes. however, these two modes are identical in the U.S. version except for the amount of gold to collect.
the Japaness version of the game has the same issue except a glitch or two that can things fun. (assuming that you can find them)
unlike the others the European version of the game has a lot of noticeable differences in "the mansion" and "the hidden mansion" modes. the most noticeable change is the difficulty in terms of the bosses. as well as the mansion being mirrored.
maybe if they re-release the game on the Nintendo switch they can add some additional difficulty modes like having the order in which the different gallery ghosts appear.
or a mode in which all of the doors are unlocked except for the doors in which require keys that are acquired by bosses. in order to complete this mode you have to already know the order in which to collect the different gallery ghost. one wrong move and you may miss the chance of collecting certain gallery ghosts as well as the chance of collecting certain boos as well as some lovely treasure.

Re: SNES Games Headed To Switch Online, 20 Titles Release Today In North America
hopefully the SNES games app will be more organized then the NES games app. that gives nintendo a reason to update the NES games app...
maybe the SNES controller can be used when playing the NES games.
since it is already the 5th, where is the SNES games app. i have a Nintendo online subscription and i would like to start playing the games soon.

please add Netflix to the Nintendo switch. bring amazon video as well...please...
Re: Random: Modder Makes Ganondorf A Playable Fighter In Smash Bros. 64
why doesn't he just add the new character, instead of modifying a current one? what next, is he going to replace Mario with Wario and Luigi with Waluigi?
Re: Feature: Eevee x Tamagotchi Is A Surprisingly Resilient Virtual Pet For A New Generation
Tamagotchi pets are still around. i haven't seen one since 1998.
Re: Nintendo 'Must Keep Up' With Cloud Tech, But Sees Further Potential In Dedicated Hardware
@Bunkerneath I 100% agree with you on that.
hopefully nintendo will keep their dedicated hardware consoles and systems around. i want to actually be able to own a copy of my game. and not have to pay the full price to "rent" the game.
Re: Video: Fan Recreates Smash Bros. Melee Opening With Smash Ultimate's Video Editor
i like the original better.
Re: Random: The Detective Pikachu Full Movie "Leak" Is Better Than We Expected
is Detective Pikachu going to start appearing in the game "just dance" because of this or is Detective Pikachu going to become a has been and go back to being a beloved mascot for the pokemon company.
Re: Feature: 10 Things We'd Like To See In Animal Crossing On The Switch
an option to become mayer in an election instead of it being forced apon you like it did in the 3ds version.
i hope nintendo allows us to pick the map type we want (gamecube, wii, DS, or 3DS). and makes it so that the town naturally evolves over time that way if we dont want our town to start with a shopping center like in the 3DS version; one could potentional appear in the future.
@Tirza let the season change on their own, but it would be nice to pick your towns region and time zone so that the seasons would match. time zone differences would be nice as well....
@KingKRoolMain
an airport seems nice for traveling from town to town.
Re: Guide: Upcoming Nintendo Switch Games And Accessories For May And June
looking forward to super mario maker 2.
now nintendo needs to release an updated or HD version of super mario 64. one that allows for two player co-op play.
Re: Hands On: Super Mario Odyssey VR - A Non-Essential But Pleasant Return Trip
@Rutty_YT
they could make an update to fix that.
update one: make a headstrap type thing so that you can wear the system like it were a heave set of glasses.
update two: make an update so that the player can use multiple controllers in the game.
controller set one (the joy-con controolers) would be used with the VR head set for the gyroscope capabilities and whatnot.
controller set two, would allow you to use the pro controller or a second set of joy-cons for controlling your character in the world around you.
update three would be slight tweacks making it so that having joy-con controllers attached to the VR head-set optional so that us game players can use the standard controller for changing the point of view of the character like always.
or Nintendo could make an actual head-set for use with the system. that way we won't be forced to put the system to our face and use the joy-cons in an uncomfortable manner.
Re: Hands On: Super Mario Odyssey VR - A Non-Essential But Pleasant Return Trip
@Rutty_YT
a VR update for splatoon may be interesting.
Re: Random: Walmart Is Selling A Bundle Of 300 Switch Consoles For $76,506
@Tempestryke
its either that or its a sign that nintendo will be releasing an updated version of the nintendo switch. (and all walmart wants to do is clear their shelves to create room for the inventory...)
Re: NES And SNES Mini Are Still Big Sellers For Nintendo
i will take an N64 mini please.
Re: Random: Series Director Discusses The Mystery Behind Kirby's Feet
and yet, i never really cared about his feet. i more so assumed that those two blobs were his feet. besides, Kirby is not human. for all we know he has paws instead of feet...lol
or there is always the possibility that he has no feet and those two blobs attached to his body just help him move around like the shoes they were meant to be.
Re: The Best Video Game April Fools' Day Gags Of 2019
out of all of them, i like snake for google maps the best. besides it has the highest likelihood of actually happening. besides as it is google changes their home page every so often to match the different holidays. them adding a game of snake could go unnoticed.
Re: Looks Like Final Fantasy VII On Switch Has Reintroduced A Bug That Was Patched Out Years Ago
now for them to port over luigi'es mansion and luigie's mansion dark moon. (hopefully with a few updates)
Re: Rumour: This Year's 'Budget' Switch Could Take The 2DS Route And Ditch A Killer Feature
and what features will this "nintendo switch pro" bring us? an additional USB port or two. duel HDMI video output (useful if having 8 players in super smash brothers), built-in gamecube controller ports, some kind of gamecube game compatibility, or something that will create a selling point for the system.
in terms of a trimmed down or stripped version of the nintendo switch, i am not interested. i always have my system plugged into the docking station. i would like them to add netflix, and amazon video.
some N64 games. we already have lots of NES games. we need to move onto the SNES and N64 games. it would be nice to be able to port over our virtual console games from our Wii and Wii U systems for free. having options to buy the same game multiple times is annoying.
of course then nintendo still needs to add an option for organizing the games we have for the nintendo switch. having a lot of games without being able to find them makes me less likely to buy new games for the system and the nintendo switch has games of interest...
Re: 1TB Micro SD Cards Are About To Hit Stores, Perfect For Your Switch Storage Woes
@SwitchForce
thanks for the negative coment, but not everyone travels around with their nintendo switch system. and as it is you can attach the external hard drive to a nintendo switch case for when traveling.
and why are you thinking so much into the comment. you don't have to nickle and dime everyone's ideas. just enjoy them.
Re: 1TB Micro SD Cards Are About To Hit Stores, Perfect For Your Switch Storage Woes
$450 is not worth the 1TB of storage.
@TheFatPlumber i agree with you. Nintendo needs to add support for external hard drives. and do a better job of it than they did with the Wii U. i have at least a dozen external USB hard drives. it would be nice to be able to use them once again.
Re: Random: Pokémon GO Player Arrested For Hitting Police Officer Who Interrupted His Game
and yet another reason of why i will never play Pokemon GO. all this stupidity over these smart phone games just makes me feel sorry for people.
hopefully we will be able to save ourselves and stop Sarah Connor from being killed. the future of human kind depends apon it. its either that or the machines will rise up against us and take over.
unfortunately for us 90% of everything from most science fiction movies has come to pass and it is only a matter of time before it is too late...
Re: Near Mint Condition Copy Of Super Mario Bros. Sells At Auction For More Than $100,000
@Rareusgold
being a professional photographer and a video game enthusiast, i am not sure of how i should be taking that grand complement. either way i am very flattered.
it is to bad that you can't get Nintendo themed camera cases and camera equipment. just imagine having Mario and Peach being together holding hands on a wide-angle camera lens.
or maybe peach, bowser, and Mario on a wide-angle lens. mario one one side, with bowser and peach on the other.
Re: Luigi's Mansion 3DS Game Site Documents The Birth Of Gooigi
now Nintendo needs to release Luigi's mansion 3 on the Nintendo switch. maybe we will get lucky and we will see the other two games on the switch as well.
however the original game needs some updates. the different regional versions of the games have different difficulty levels to them.
all three having "the mansion" and "the hidden mansion" modes. however, these two modes are identical in the U.S. version except for the amount of gold to collect.
the Japaness version of the game has the same issue except a glitch or two that can things fun.
