is there any news on networks crashing due to heavier network traffic than usual, or are we just going to be told about everyone playing online games as usual?
if i get this, it will only be purchased as a collectors item. however, i know a few people who may be interesting in having this as a nice toy to play with.
now to wait for Nintendo to make a normal Mario themed play set. or better yet, a Super Mario themed Lego game for the Nintendo Switch.
the dock is nice. however, i would rather have a dock with forward facing controller ports. the backwards facing ports make it a tad bit inconvenient for wired controllers. either way, it may turn into a "must have" for some people if it goes on the market.
either way, Nintendo (and possibly some other companies) need to release an updated version of the adapter so that it only has one USB cable instead of two. and since the GameCube controller adapter works with the Nintendo switch, it would be nice for a home button to be added to the unit. it would be very useful since the GameCube controllers do not have one of their own.
i know a lot of third party GameCube style controllers for the Nintendo switch have a home button, but i already have enough first party controllers; many of them being who knows how old, so it would be pointless of me to get third-party controllers just to have that small feature included.
if the Nintendo PlayStation was released instead of current day one, than we would all own a Nintendo PlayStation and then Nintendo would have skipped the N64 and gone straight to the GameCube.
i know that he is finished with the film once he is relaxing in his chair instead of his usual standing in front of the projecter editing the film.
as far as how long it takes for him to finish editing the film; i decided to start the game from the beginning to find out. it seems as though the director is done editing the film once you capture Polterkitty and put the stolen button back in the elevator.
unfortunatly the movie shown is only in black and white and is generic movie, which is a bummer since you get to have all that fun facing the ghosts on that floor and killing of a Godzilla look-a-like monster.
Nintendo needs to update the game so that the director saves all of the footage that Luigi and gooigi filmed or stared in. we go through all of this work with only a elevator button (that gets stolen) to show for it.
@SinnohGeek i know, but i keep capturing that ghost too soon. Luigi needs to be able processing the film on his own.
the first time i played the game all the way through, i forgot to capture him all together. and yet the last time i played, i played out the boss battle in a manor so grand that it can be watched time and time again with enjoyment and unfortunately captured the ghost right afterwards forgetting about the video and its processing time.
do you or anyone else know how long it takes for the ghost to finish processing the film? it would be nice to know for the next time i play the game all the way through.
it was nice seeing Mario in a new world, but why did the guy have to port over the monsters from the mushroom kingdom over to the world of Banjo-Kazooie
I play the original every October. I still enjoying Luigi's Mansion 3 enough to continue playing it every few days.
they definitely need to add new costumes in story mode for Luigi to wear; at least when you play the game a second time around. Luigi needs to be groovy on the dance floor, be a pirate, and a knight. he needs to be able to direct his own movie or at least be able to finish the first one for if you vacuum up the director before he ends up putting the film together.
Nintendo, said that we would be able to watch watch and re-watch the final boss floor on the movie set as much as we want but somehow the movie never got spliced together for viewing. besides other scenes that Luigi and Gooigi have stared in should be watchable as well. that would be a nice bonus for nintendo to add.
it would also be nice to have additional extras for story mode, like the ability to play it through as peach, Mario, Wario, Toad, or Waluigi. each of the characters having their own strengths and weaknesses.
for example, Wario finds a lot more gold than the other, however he can't move as fast as the others. toad can run much faster than the others, however at times he tends to be dragged around by the ghosts that he is trying to capture.
Peach at times may be weaker, however her health restores itself on its own at a slow pace. Waluigi, can sneak around without be noticed by ghosts that he is trying to track down; like those troublesome boos we need to capture.
too bad Luigi can't wear those costumes in story mode. just imagine Groovigi on the dance floor and Mummigi exploring the pyramid. as well as The Green Knight exploring the castle grounds on his way to a boss fight.
i remember this issue from the GameCube version of Animal Crossing. unfortunately saved files could not be moved or copied from one memory card or another.
since it is possible to import custom designs from New Leaf and Happy Home Designer. Hopefully, it will be possible for us to transfer over our item catalogs as well..
i noticed that the Nintendo direct saying something about how the museum needs to be build like everything else. it is so nice that the town can be fully customized.
does that mean that Blathers does not have his certification for examining fossils for when the museum opens? i think it would be a nice addition to the game if he had to earn his certification.
mailing the fossils to be examined was a pain in the GameCube version at times, but it would be nice to see him learn and grow.
of course then, i did so much time-skipping in the game that Blathers eventually said that he earned his certification. too bad you still had to mail the fossils in.
unfortunately. the system clock for when setting the game only goes to 12/31/2030, but if you keep playing the game, the clock can go past 01/01/2019.
unfortunately if you want it to go past that, you will have to leave your system on and leave the session active and no one wants to leave the game running 24 hours a day.
damn that is a huge list of characters. i only remember the names of 20 of the different villagers. unfortunately, i do not have a favorite.
i started playing the GameCube version again after many years due to the fact that animal crossing is finally arriving on the Nintendo switch.
when i started up the game for the first time in many years, it seemed as though i had 25+ villagers in my town. aren't they supposed to move out (eventually), or does a new villager movie in every few days for if you decide to manipulate time as a method of making it easier to collect all of the goodies in the game?
does anyone know the master list of characters in the GameCube version of the game and the maximum possible number of neighbors that you can have?
hopefully, the Nintendo switch entry in the franchise won't allow for your town to become flooded with villagers. at least if that (somehow) happens, we have the option of picking where there house will be located.
its so nice to see that all of the features (or most of them) i ever wanted to see in an animal crossing game are here. does anyone have a master list of all of the buildings that will be appearing in town? the list of places so far are great, but we need to know more.
also, i noticed that tom nook offers rescue service for if your character gets lost. does this mean that you will no longer have a town map? i understand about nook never giving you one, but does your character create a town map on their own that evolves on its own?
now Nintendo needs to bring Luigi's Mansion 1 and 2 to the Nintendo Switch. as much as i like Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon, i think that it would be a lot more enjoyable on the Nintendo Switch.
Since they ported the original over to the 3DS than they should port it over to the Switch. Having the trilogy on the Nintendo Switch would be awesome. (and a must buy in my opinion)
i already have a Gameboy and the Gameboy player for the GameCube so why would i need another device for playing Gameboy games?
instead of Hyperkin releasing this "Retron Jr.", maybe they should think of investing in the GameCube for those of use who still have one.
besides, it would be nice to have an updated version of the Gameboy Player. the software U.I. for it needs an update or two.
either way, i still want Netflix and Hulu on my GameCube. if all the other network enabled devices support Hulu and Netflix, than so should the GameCube. and maybe Hyperkin can help.
Nintendo should add a Nintendo 64 style theme. making a level like it was taking straight from super mario 64 would be nice.
also Nintendo should make an update to the game of where we can mix and match the different themes.
Mario has slightly different abilities in the different super Mario games. Nintendo needs to take advantage of that. or do we have to wait for super Mario maker 3 to see that feature.
also, it may be nice to see a system update to the Nintendo switch that would allow us to use the Wii U game-pad with the system. i don't play games on the Wii U that much anymore, but it would be nice to have a way to put it to use. being able to use the game-pad for the super Mario maker was the game-pads only good feature. other than that it was a pain in the behind for certain games or apps on the system for when you were forced to use it...
i missed yesterdays free game and now i can't get todays free game. is there any way that i can get yesterdays and todays free games without paying for them. i would like to get the rest of the games for free.
for all we know this paid multi-player DLC for Luigi's mansion is a hint that Nintendo is thinking about releasing Luigi's Mansion 1 and 2 on the switch.
i had this issue in the past when ordering video games on Amazon. i was ordering some game and i was sent the wrong edition of the game.
apparently, the game had the incorrect barcode on it. it was so nice of them to refund my money. i forgot if they ended up letting me keep the game or not.
after that issue i started getting my games at Best Buy like i did when i was in high school before the days of Amazon and eBay. back in the days before i cared about online shopping.
the internet is spoiling us all. i think the movie "the terminator" was right. the machines are starting to enslave us all. if the terminator movies come to life than we should be at war with the machines by the end of this year or sometime in 2023.
i have seen a controller with two "Y" buttons in the past. however, it was missing the "X" button and not the "B" button. and how did a controller with two "Y" buttons make front page?
i understand why Pikachu ends up being front page news, but a controller making front page news makes no sense to me.
it may be useful in animal crossing. the alarm and LED functions can be used to tell us when its time for us to go to bed. it would be bad for us to end up staying up all night playing video games.
the alarm and LED functions can come in handy to inform of of certain types of in game events.
i already own the original GameBoy GameBoy as well as the GameBoy pocket, the GameBoy color, the GameBoy advance, and the GameBoy GameBoy GameBoy player so i don't need this GameBoy look a like system.
besides Nintendo already released a line of GameBoy classic systems with a selection of Game And Watch versions of select games. they were a nice addition to my keychain collection.
however if your hands were too big it would hurt your hands to play the games on them. at least they could be used as alarm clocks as well.unfortunately i put the battery tab thing back in too stop the coin battery from powering the unit for when i wasn't using them. putting the battery tab back in was a lot easier than changing the coin battery. (when needed)
i have never played more than 12 hours of video games a day. the last time i played 6+ hours of video games a day was when animal crossing was released on the GameCube. somehow, my dad, my two sisters, and i became addicted to the game to the point where we fought over who plays the game and when.
its a good thing that i didn't have more than one GameCube other wise i may have ended up playing 8+ hours a day or more.
even when i play more than 5 or more hours of video games, i still take a break every so often. it is too hard for me to stay still for a few minutes at a time.
and how is it possible for someone to stayed glued to TV playing video games for hours at a time without taking a break to move around? its a good thing that some games contain motion controls in them to help us stay active when playing games.
@Finntendo since when did children start destroying property because you ask to turn off the game. i have never seen that before. however, i have seen children cry over not being able to watch television.
simple fixes and stability patches as usual. at least we get something from them.
i was hoping that they would add enhanced support for the game-cube controllers. they should be recognized as GameCube controllers instead of USB controllers.
they also need to make it so that we can sync more than 4 controllers at a time when we are syncing controllers from the system menu. right now we can only sync 5 or more controllers at the same time is when we are playing super smash brothers and want to have fights with more than 4 people at a time.
this would make an interesting game style for super Mario maker 2. unfortunately we are still waiting for other game play styles. like an super mario 64 game play style or whatever game play style that nintendo comes up with.
the GameCube is one of my favorite video games systems. the modular design was genius. unfortunately there are so many accessories that could have been released for serial port 1 and 2 as well as the high speed port in which never saw the light of day.
for starters nintendo could have released a wavebird controller adapter that would allow us to use the wavebird controllers without that bulky plug. of course then third party manufacturers could do that kind of thing with their 2.4GHz wireless controllers. it would be a great accessory to have even if it requires a boot DVD to load the instructions into system memory before starting up the game.
if Nintendo released a smartphone i may purchase it, even if it just a Nintendo 3DS with cellular capabilities. (talk, text, and data)
i wonder how many people are telling the truth about having this issue with the nintendo switch lite.
it seems a bit early to be seeing that issue. its either that or people are "trying" to create the issue, oreading to much into things, or just wanting to see what they want to see. besides some people may only seeing it because other people are seeing it and it makes them want to see the issue as well. of course then there are some people that like to complain over nothing or about something that is not there yet in which they want to see.
i sometime see issues with the controllers for my Nintendo GameCube controllers. however, those controllers are just as old as the system and i got the GameCube on day one. would it be possible for someone to help me recalibrate the DVD drive in the gaming system since i am a bit worried about opening it up myself.
hopefully this issue with the joy-cons will be dropped if/when the Nintendo switch pro gets released.
add a 4th option to the list for those of us who do not have a nintendo switch lite or who are not obsessed with this drifting issue.
i have seen this drifting issues on other types of controllers as well. it is a good thing that controllers can be calibrated so that the issue can be fixed.
i hope they add new boards. or at least updates to fix certain issues.
however, i still play older versions of Mario Party. versions 4, 5, 6, and 7. for some reasons i blame the Wii Remotes. playing with the joy-con controllers, but still feels limited.
if they release a new version of Mario Party for the Nintendo Switch. maybe they will be kind to us and make it so that we can use controllers other than just the joy-cons. like the Nintendo switch pro controller or even the GameCube Controller.
Nintendo minor Hardware Refresh on the GameCube dol-001 vs dol-101 was unwanted
now we need a dol-201/301. it needs better support for the wavebird controllers. the ability to use them without the need of the controller plugs. accessory for that will be plunged into serial port b. as well as an HDMI port instead of component and composite video.
i would like the Panasonic Q, however everyone these days has so many devices for media streaming and playing DVDs.
its too bad that the GameCube never got a Netflix player CD/DVD like Nintendo Wii
i get the physical copy of the game in order to avoid storing data on a MicroSD card. however, a lot of data still gets stored on the card. when are they going to release a low price MicroSD card with a 512GB capacity or higher.
nice to know that Luigi's Mantion 3 made the list. now for Nintendo to port the first two (with updates) onto the nintendo switch.
One reason being the differences in the PAL and NTSC-U versions of Luigi's Mansion. the PAL version of the game had a higher difficulty levels to it. even though that "the mansion" difficulty was the same in both versions. "the hidden mansion" difficult was a lot harder in the PAL version than it was in the other.
because of this there should have been at least 4 difficulty levels to the game. 1)the mansion 2)the mansion (mirrored) 3)the hidden mansion and 4) the hidden mansion (mirrored). and possibly a few other difficulty levels to create extra challenges to the game.
i want Luigi's Mansion 2 on the Nintendo switch because to me it doesn't feel as though it was meant to be on the Nintendo 3DS.
hopefully Luigi's Mansion 3 will be better than advertised.
i somewhat have a dislike towards the Wii Remotes, but that's only because i felt as though it took away from some of the games. it even made me skip purchasing the system. i oly gave it chance since my sister own one for a while.
the Wii Remotes just ruined the Wii version of Animal crossing for me. the Wii Remote (and sensor bar) had to many issues at times that it made me not want to play certain games. however the Wii Remotes always worked well with Wii Fit and Wii Sports. they would become even better if they were ported to the Nintendo switch and updated so that they could be used with the joy-con controllers.
if they released a version of the Wii Remote for the GameCube, some people may buy them assuming they had games to go with them... i know i would. besides i still have my GameCube and it still works as though it is brand new. new games and accessories for the system would make the system better and want me to play them more.
the GameCube is one of my favorite systems. i liked the handle of the system, even thought it could be considered a flaw
there are only a few accessories that the system is missing. one of them being a wireless controller adapter. it would have given serial port B a use or another unit for serial port A. it would have been nice for nintendo to have given us an accessory that would allow us to use the WaveBird controllers with the system without the need of plugging in those bulky controller plugs that we have gotten used to.
even if they never release that type of accessory for the GameCube, they can always release an updated version of the GameCube controller adapter for the Nintendo switch that allows us to do that.
i think they should port Wii Fit and Wii Sports Club over to the Nintendo switch. (with some updates) for example, playing those two games with joy-cons instead of those wi--remotes would be nice. being able to use the Wii balance board with the switch may be nice, but who knows they might release an updated version for the Nintendo switch.
at least for now we have switch boxing, which was one of the activities in wii sports. now Nintendo needs to bring over the others.

i know a lot of third party GameCube style controllers for the Nintendo switch have a home button, but i already have enough first party controllers; many of them being who knows how old, so it would be pointless of me to get third-party controllers just to have that small feature included.

i already own the original GameBoy GameBoy as well as the GameBoy pocket, the GameBoy color, the GameBoy advance, and the GameBoy GameBoy GameBoy player so i don't need this GameBoy look a like system.
besides Nintendo already released a line of GameBoy classic systems with a selection of Game And Watch versions of select games. they were a nice addition to my keychain collection.
however if your hands were too big it would hurt your hands to play the games on them. at least they could be used as alarm clocks as well.unfortunately i put the battery tab thing back in too stop the coin battery from powering the unit for when i wasn't using them. putting the battery tab back in was a lot easier than changing the coin battery. (when needed)
Re: UK Doctors Can Now Refer Young Patients To Be Treated For Video Game Addiction
i have never played more than 12 hours of video games a day. the last time i played 6+ hours of video games a day was when animal crossing was released on the GameCube. somehow, my dad, my two sisters, and i became addicted to the game to the point where we fought over who plays the game and when.
its a good thing that i didn't have more than one GameCube other wise i may have ended up playing 8+ hours a day or more.
even when i play more than 5 or more hours of video games, i still take a break every so often. it is too hard for me to stay still for a few minutes at a time.
and how is it possible for someone to stayed glued to TV playing video games for hours at a time without taking a break to move around? its a good thing that some games contain motion controls in them to help us stay active when playing games.
@Finntendo since when did children start destroying property because you ask to turn off the game. i have never seen that before. however, i have seen children cry over not being able to watch television.
Re: Cripes, That SNES PlayStation Prototype Might Be Up For Auction Soon
what games will be included with the system? hopefully a zelda or super Mario game of some kind.
it would be nice to see it in a museum. i haven't seen a video game system in a museum in a long time.
Re: Nintendo Switch System Update 9.0.1 Is Now Live
simple fixes and stability patches as usual. at least we get something from them.
i was hoping that they would add enhanced support for the game-cube controllers. they should be recognized as GameCube controllers instead of USB controllers.
they also need to make it so that we can sync more than 4 controllers at a time when we are syncing controllers from the system menu. right now we can only sync 5 or more controllers at the same time is when we are playing super smash brothers and want to have fights with more than 4 people at a time.
Re: This Super Mario Bros. Fan Game Will Fire Up Your Super Show Nostalgia
this would make an interesting game style for super Mario maker 2. unfortunately we are still waiting for other game play styles. like an super mario 64 game play style or whatever game play style that nintendo comes up with.
Re: The UK's Pop-Up Pokémon Store Will Stock An Exclusive London City Pikachu Plush
so cute.
i have a friend that lives in the area so hopefully they will get me one these cute Pikachu plush toys.
Re: Feature: Digging Through Nintendo Patents
the GameCube is one of my favorite video games systems. the modular design was genius. unfortunately there are so many accessories that could have been released for serial port 1 and 2 as well as the high speed port in which never saw the light of day.
for starters nintendo could have released a wavebird controller adapter that would allow us to use the wavebird controllers without that bulky plug. of course then third party manufacturers could do that kind of thing with their 2.4GHz wireless controllers. it would be a great accessory to have even if it requires a boot DVD to load the instructions into system memory before starting up the game.
if Nintendo released a smartphone i may purchase it, even if it just a Nintendo 3DS with cellular capabilities. (talk, text, and data)
Re: Luigi's Mansion 3 Receiving Paid DLC, Will Add New Content To Multiplayer Modes
if the DLC just adds multiplayer content than i will not be getting it.
maybe Nintendo will be nice to us and add the first two Luigi's mansion games as DLCs.
either way, isn't it a bit early to be talking about DLC content for this game.
Re: Random: Slowpoke Becomes Pokémon Ambassador Of Japanese Prefecture, Kagawa
whatever happen to Pikachu be the ambassador? of course then from what i remember Pikachu was named "honorary" ambassador of a different city
Re: Poll: Is Your Switch Lite Suffering From Joy-Con Drift?
i wonder how many people are telling the truth about having this issue with the nintendo switch lite.
it seems a bit early to be seeing that issue. its either that or people are "trying" to create the issue, oreading to much into things, or just wanting to see what they want to see. besides some people may only seeing it because other people are seeing it and it makes them want to see the issue as well. of course then there are some people that like to complain over nothing or about something that is not there yet in which they want to see.
i sometime see issues with the controllers for my Nintendo GameCube controllers. however, those controllers are just as old as the system and i got the GameCube on day one. would it be possible for someone to help me recalibrate the DVD drive in the gaming system since i am a bit worried about opening it up myself.
hopefully this issue with the joy-cons will be dropped if/when the Nintendo switch pro gets released.
Re: Poll: Is Your Switch Lite Suffering From Joy-Con Drift?
add a 4th option to the list for those of us who do not have a nintendo switch lite or who are not obsessed with this drifting issue.
i have seen this drifting issues on other types of controllers as well. it is a good thing that controllers can be calibrated so that the issue can be fixed.
Re: Dataminers Uncover Evidence Of Unreleased Super Mario Party DLC
i hope they add new boards. or at least updates to fix certain issues.
however, i still play older versions of Mario Party. versions 4, 5, 6, and 7. for some reasons i blame the Wii Remotes. playing with the joy-con controllers, but still feels limited.
if they release a new version of Mario Party for the Nintendo Switch. maybe they will be kind to us and make it so that we can use controllers other than just the joy-cons. like the Nintendo switch pro controller or even the GameCube Controller.
Re: Feature: Nintendo Hardware Refreshes Through The Ages
Nintendo minor Hardware Refresh on the GameCube dol-001 vs dol-101 was unwanted
now we need a dol-201/301. it needs better support for the wavebird controllers. the ability to use them without the need of the controller plugs. accessory for that will be plunged into serial port b. as well as an HDMI port instead of component and composite video.
i would like the Panasonic Q, however everyone these days has so many devices for media streaming and playing DVDs.
its too bad that the GameCube never got a Netflix player CD/DVD like Nintendo Wii
Re: Deals: Micro SD Card Prices Tumble To All-Time Low On Amazon
i get the physical copy of the game in order to avoid storing data on a MicroSD card. however, a lot of data still gets stored on the card. when are they going to release a low price MicroSD card with a 512GB capacity or higher.
Re: Feature: The Best Nintendo Switch Games Of PAX West 2019
nice to know that Luigi's Mantion 3 made the list. now for Nintendo to port the first two (with updates) onto the nintendo switch.
Re: Prototype Wii Nunchuk Controller Included A Rumble Motor, According To New Photos
i somewhat have a dislike towards the Wii Remotes, but that's only because i felt as though it took away from some of the games. it even made me skip purchasing the system. i oly gave it chance since my sister own one for a while.
the Wii Remotes just ruined the Wii version of Animal crossing for me. the Wii Remote (and sensor bar) had to many issues at times that it made me not want to play certain games. however the Wii Remotes always worked well with Wii Fit and Wii Sports. they would become even better if they were ported to the Nintendo switch and updated so that they could be used with the joy-con controllers.
if they released a version of the Wii Remote for the GameCube, some people may buy them assuming they had games to go with them... i know i would. besides i still have my GameCube and it still works as though it is brand new. new games and accessories for the system would make the system better and want me to play them more.
Re: Hardware Classics: Nintendo GameCube
the GameCube is one of my favorite systems. i liked the handle of the system, even thought it could be considered a flaw
there are only a few accessories that the system is missing. one of them being a wireless controller adapter. it would have given serial port B a use or another unit for serial port A. it would have been nice for nintendo to have given us an accessory that would allow us to use the WaveBird controllers with the system without the need of plugging in those bulky controller plugs that we have gotten used to.
even if they never release that type of accessory for the GameCube, they can always release an updated version of the GameCube controller adapter for the Nintendo switch that allows us to do that.
Re: Nintendo Officially Unveils Ring Fit Adventure, An Exercised-Based Adventure Game
i think they should port Wii Fit and Wii Sports Club over to the Nintendo switch.
