Nintendo has revealed that physical goods are coming to the My Nintendo store in Europe for the first time, with the introduction of special Splatoon 2 goodies on the way next month.
You'll be able to get your hands on t-shirts and posters as Nintendo celebrates the game's final Splatfest event - which is taking place from 18th July. The theme for the event is Chaos vs. Order, which has been replicated for the designs of the merchandise.
A set of three posters will be available in July for 300 Platinum Points. The posters are printed on high-quality 170g/sqm glossy paper, measure in at 70cm x 50cm, and will be shipped rolled out in a cardboard box to avoid fold lines. Once you hand over your 300 Platinum Points, you simply pay the shipping; it'll cost €3.99 to ship to Germany and €6.99 to other countries (GBP prices to be confirmed).
There will be two 'Final Fest' t-shirts also up for grabs, available in "limited quantities". They'll come in five different sizes - Kids (152 / UK kids size 11-12), S, M, L and XL; the Chaos shirt is black with gold print, while the Order shirt is white with silver print. Pricing for these is yet to be revealed, but we do know that you'll also receive in-game goodies for buying one or more.

Blimmin heck, thousands of my miitomo points have expired and There's no way I'm getting back into animal crossing, I lost two years of my life to it before loot boxes drove me away!!

Darn... would love to participate in this as it's the last one but I'll be camping. I'm not too hurt though. Sadly Splatoon kinda fell from grace for me due to Nintendo's utterly failed attempt to make the online good. I'm still just butthurt about the chat issue. If I can't talk to my friends easily through the game (I don't consider the stupid app, Skype, or Discord easy), then a fully online game like this is automatically useless, no matter how great it is. For that reason alone, I prefer Fortnite over Splatoon any day... which is REALLY sad.

I live in the US but will hold onto my points in case. $3 game discount or free poster set... physical rewards are better than cheap discounts anyway.

Awesome! I already have two Splatoon themed shirts from The Yetee but I'm happy I'll be able to get official ones now as well. Planning on getting them both and might as well get the posters while I'm at it.
I haven't played Splatoon 2 for quite a while since I share my internet connection from my phone to other devices and it seems to limit my online gaming options. I can play server based games, like Rocket League, just fine on my Switch but Splatoon is unfortunately a no go. I have my summer vacation on the Splatfest week and I have access to better internet for gaming since I'm visiting my family so I'm at least able to take part in the final Splatfest.

Actually, now that I'm going through my Twitter feed, it seems like Europe isn't the only one getting the shirts. Nintendo of America has different kind of plan for them and they'll be available at the Nintendo Online Store instead.

Ok, Europe is never allowed to complain again when it comes to Nintendo. They have the best My Nintendo program outside of Japan, they're getting the best limited edition of games (Pokemon Sword and Shield, Link's Awakening), meanwhile Canada is getting ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Heck, not even the U.S. is getting cool collectibles. Nintendo & their partner companies must seriously hate money.
I'm happy for Europe but nothing announced here in the states bums me out. I have quite a few gamer friends here and only one plays splatoon with me. The others don't care for it mainly because they never actually played it. Unfortunately its not as popular where I live so I can never find splatoon merch. This would have been a good way to rep the final fest and the game in general.
Why does Nintendo Japan seem to ignore Nintendo of America so much? It’s getting ridiculous at this point... The US hardly gets any Amiibo stock so if you didn’t have one pre-ordered you’re out of luck. We get desktop backgrounds and cheesy printable paper craft things for our My Nintendo coins. 95% we get lackluster limited edition versions of games and the stock they send to the US goes as fast as the Amiibo. What’s the reasoning behind this?

@MasterJay Unfortunately, I do not think this will be coming to the West (North America, South America) but I do believe it will also be available in Japan. I live in America, but I will just have to pay for worldwide shipping, which is about 7 dollars with US money.
