they should have also included Super Mario Galaxy 2, the DS version of Super Mario 64, as well as the NES Super Mario all-stars games.
unfortunately for me I already own all of the games in the collection, except for Super Mario Galaxy. for all we know Nintendo will add those games to Super Mario all-stars later on with an update to the game. hopefully, it will not be a paid DLC. or they may just release a Super Mario all-stars 2 adding additional games to our collection.
despite what some people are saying I thought that Super Mario Sunshine already had a 16:9 mode; assuming that you had model DOL-001 of the GameCube.
i hope they add additional characters to the game. even if they do add more characters later on, they may keep this limited to a two player game. any more than that and your place might get destroyed. but still having at least 6 possible playable characters to pick from (or more) would be nice.
if you have enough track pieces and whatnot; along side enough characters, it may make a great way to decorate a room.
i don't think i even noticed, but lets just keep calling the fruit "Scaly Custard" instead of calling it "Crocodile Scrotum" or "Crocodile Testis". or how about us in the west receive on option to pick the title of this fruit as well as others, but only for ones that have multiple translations for the name of the different fruits.
this translation "issue" reminds me that the fruits lemon and lime have the same name. so are we adding that translation issue into Pikmin 3? hopefully we will get to keep our lemons and limes instead of having yellow lemons and green lemons...lol
it makes sense to delist the DLCs since they are delisting the game that they are associated with. objectively its a good move since they don't want their customers to ""accidentally" purchase the DLCs without owning the game. unfortunately they made this decision way too early.
the new Pikmin site is not even up and running yet. so hopefully they will find a way to make up for this mistake of theirs. a.k.a. re-releasing the first two Pikmin games as free DLCs. for all we know Pikmin 3 deluxe supports the damned Wii Remotes along side the Joy-Cons and Pro Controllers. however, a system update will be needed.
and there is a way to purchase the DLC content for the game. you can get it from Nintendo through My Nintendo. the pages for redeeming them are still available.for viewing. and a while ago i found an issue in the My Nintendo web site that allows you to redeem some of the expired offers.
since Nintendo does a bad job with taking down content from their web site, a lot of their old web pages are still up and running. however, you need to know the links for accessing them.
the Mario Party 4 web site is still active. a while ago i downloaded a copy of the site so that i can make some changes to it. the web site contains a demo version of the game in which can be played over zoom with your friends once the game has been setup properly.
as long as i can still download the game and the DLC content (if needed) from the Wii U eShop, than i am okay with the purchase option being removed. however, they should have waited a while before taking Pikmin 3 down from the eShop; maybe a few weeks or even shortly after the Pikmin 3 Deluxe web site is finished. the web site currently says: "full site coming soon".
I'm a little disappointed that they are releasing Pikmin 3 deluxe in place of Pikmin 4. whats next? deluxe editions of the other two Pikmin games. or better yet, maybe Pikmin 3 will get a DLC later on so that it gets turned into the "Pikmin Trilogy Deluxe".
if the other Pikmin games make an appearance on the Nintendo Switch. hopefully they will have additional content as well. Pikmin 2 does need co-op multi-player for when playing through story mode. hopefully they will add three player co-op mode in Pikmin 3. being able to do the three crashing landing segments at the same time would be nice.
What next? are Lego and Nintendo going to give us a Super Nintendo Entertainment system Lego set? or maybe even additional TV scenes to swap in and out of our Lego TV sets. it would be nice to have more than one Level (or game...lol) for our Lego NES.
i almost forgot about those level aspects in the 2D levels of Super Mario Odyssey. however, i think reduced gravity already exists in Super Mario Maker 2. unfortunately it is only for one of the level themes. in Super Mario Maker 2, they also need to make it so that you can mix and match the different themes and the objects and elements that they contain.
at least they gave us a feature for creating a world map. unfortunately it needs updates and Nintendo will not provide them. i just hope we won't have to wait until Super Mario Maker 3 in order to get new them elements.
for all we know Lego Super Mario is a preview for the game Super Mario Lego Maker that will somehow interact with these Lego Super Mario sets and for the first (or second) time all us to create 3D Super Mario levels like we always wanted.

either way, I'll be happy if we will be able to save a back-up of our town data.
and for all we know, the price of the Nintendo Switch Online subscription may go up. or they may possibly create a separate online subscription just for animal crossing...
why not? a Lego Mario game sounds good. at least to me.
if Nintendo does a Lego Mario game; maybe they will make Super Mario Lego Maker. just imagine being able to create 2D and 3D based Lego courses.
but for now, its better in brick form. the only advantage of having Lego Mario as a video game is that Mario will have more options for interacting with his friends and enemies. either way i pre-ordered the Super Mario Lego set
the only part missing is that it is not a real playable system. but the detail that goes into building the Lego set makes it worth the purchase. (assuming that you are both a Nintendo fan and a Lego fan.)
the Lego TV just needs an accessory or two so that it can be used as an actual TV for your NES, Gameboy, or Nintendo Switch for those who want much more than a whined-up Super Mario 2D game. just imagine an attachable LED screen for the Lego TV to go from Lego Mario to 8-Bit Mario.
if the Lego NES that comes with the Lego TV just had one game (possibly more) and could actually attach to the Lego TV instead of just standing next to the Lego TV as it does now; this Lego Mario set may just sell-out before pre-orders begin.
Nintendo has promised us plenty of new updates. unfortunately, most of them are holiday related and/or are just for fixing minor issues that they find along the way. maybe we will get lucky and get a few updates that will give us even more activities to do.
for all we know, Nintendo may add tax day as one of the holidays in Animal Crossing. imagine having to pay your taxes to nook instead of the IRS...lol or better yet, at times may just give us a refund for putting so much time and effort into enjoying the game...lol
I was thinking those security options for those who actually need them or who don't know any better when it comes to traveling from island to island.
not everyone will want to terminate a session as soon as they see someone doing something that they do not want them to do. besides all of the villagers on the island are completely independent from each other.
in older versions of animal crossing if you had someone visit, they would have to be in the same area as you. in new horizons, your visitors can go anywhere on the island, assuming you do not have any blockades set up and running, even if your character is not around. and as it is, when i invite a friend over to my island i just let them roam around my island without any supervision.
either way, i do not think Nintendo will let the dodos add security to our island airports. however, it would be nice for Nintendo to update the game so that we won't be forced to go to the airport every-time one of our best friends come to visit and then again when they leave.
i guess its time for Nintendo to make updates to the airport. those dodos need to do their job. they should give us users the ability to block our visitors from swimming if we would like. the Dodos need to start doing their jobs (optional) and start checking visitors for items so that that we do not want them using. and if we do want people to have access to swimming and or make certain changes to the island they should have to purchase those items at the airport and/or be on our best friends list.
personally, i do not mind people swimming, fishing, bug hunting, picking fruit in my town as well as a few other things but that's only because the people that i let visit have the decency to ask permission to perform certain actions before doing them.
the last time i went to visit someone's island i sent them a few thank you gifts for letting me pick fruit and purchase items from the shops on their island.
of course then, i may be one of the lucky ones that has never had any issues with visitors on the island. hopefully over the next few updates they will fix certain "security" issues that we may have with our visitors.
i didn't really like the Dream Suite. it was nice that it allowed you to visit other towns, but it was a pain in the butt that every shop was closed during the visit. it would be nice to have an update to it so that the shops could be open when visiting the town when using the Dream Suite.
having the shops open will be an option that would only be disabled in the Dream Suite for if people didn't want others visiting their shops.
and as it is i think the the Dream Suite may make a return if people start complaining about certain things too much. and as it is it may just be easier to update certain game-play mechanics for multiplayer mode. like making it so that you have the option to disallow your visitors from swimming during their visit. the dodos at the airport should give us addition and optional travel restrictions. we already have some due to options in the friends list, but those options should be setup at the airport. after-all those dodos should know how to help us by now other than helping us travel and sending letters
I'm not sure about Re-Tail and the Roost returning because of certain game-play changes, but i would like Re-Tail to make a return. however, if too many stores make a return Nookingtons, our favorite shopping mall may need to make a return with a few small updates.
i was thinking about adding these things as giving us more things to do.
in terms of store closings, i was more thinking about it being due to bad weather. just imagine having to help Timmy or Tommy create a path to get to the store after a heavy snow storm. or worse imagine them being trapped inside the store and wanting out.
or with them being children they may hate or be afraid of the thunder and lightning so you may have to search the island for them and help them overcome their fear so that you can help them get back to their store.
in terms of power outages, the original residential services will not be affected since they only thing in there really is a lantern and i do not think Nook needs to do anything there... either way Tom Nook will always have his place open. with Nook being Nook and all it seems as though he always wants to help us. (and/or wants to take our money...lol)
if Nintendo added additional weather elements to the game it may just give us more things to do and create more items for nook to sell.
I'm glad you like my ideas of what could be added to animal crossing. do you have any of your own that others may like? or are you like the most of us and happy that Nook is allowing us to go swimming again.
thankfully he doesn't have any traps setup that may allow us to drown. or is there and we don't know about it yet? we have rescue services available on our nook phones. lets just hope that Nook isn't trying to force us into using them just so that he has more reasons to take our hard earned money.
how about more realistic weather? possible store closings and possible power outages, as well as heavy snow storms in which make it harder to wonder the island. maybe Nintendo could update the airport in some way or at least let us change its color.
being able to modify the beach would be nice. it would be a nice addition to the whole island construction thing. also there should be an option to create paths that will not grow weeds over time.
i would like Nintendo make it so that we can have additional expansions and customizations to our homes.
i have only had one meteor shower. (i used time traveling, so i got to see it more than once.) sometimes having an all day meteor shower is nice even if you do not take advantage of it.
unfortunately, Redd only visited once. time traveling does not help make him appear more or less often. at least the randomness of the weather isn't effected...having these weather "seeds" doesn't make dealing with the weather easier. however, it could make fishing and bug hunting easier since their locations are based on time, location, and weather.
I'm not going to use this tool, but mostly it takes the fun out of time traveling. besides, for all we know, it may just change which "seed" our town is following.
if the Nintendo Wii (and possibly the Wiil) is/are still hit(s) than maybe Nintendo should consider making some of the Wii and Wii U accessories compatible with the Nintendo Switch. Nintendo released a GameCube controller adapter, so maybe its about time for the Wii to get a little love...lmao
However, the GameCube controller adapter needs an update or two. it needs a home button so that we won't need a second controller plugged in for if we want to take a snapshot or want to return to the home screen for when we want to play another game.
the GamePad should be helpful in Super Mario Maker 2. the dual screen feature thing on the Wii U was helpful in the original Super Mario Maker. looking at the TV to view the entire level that you are currently working on and at the same time being able to use the GamePad for viewing and editing a part of the course that you are interested in creating or making changes to.
and where do i purchase them? (rhetorical question) the expansion sets are not available on the Lego web site yet. it would be better to have them now, not later...
Nintendo may have this patched within a week or two. either way, i already collected that star. may the guys next mission could be to find a faster way of stacking Goombas.
if they do release a digital only version of the Nintendo Switch, will they create an option so we can get a free digital versions of our games since we won't be able to use the physical cartridges anymore.
they have the My Nintendo rewards web site that keeps track of our purchases. regardless of Nintendo making a digital only version of the switch should we get an option to get free digital copies of our games or at least get a digital copy of the games at a discount. we already have a physical version of the game, so why wouldn't they want to do something nice for us.
"Forgive us for going back over old ground we've already covered, but could Microsoft and Nintendo please just stop flirting with one another and hook up?" is one of the funniest things that i have heard this year....
and if they do hook up, does it mean that we may see a Nintendo Xbox. or will it be a pipe-dream like the Nintendo PlayStation...lmao console partnerships that may never be unless one of the three giants decides to drop out of the console wars....
if one of them were to drop out, Microsoft would be the first to go. why would they bother fighting a pointless war when they are practically a monopoly.
nice coins. nice clouds, but will there be a way to interact with them like Mario does in the games? or are they just there for us to look at from a distance?
with the WaveBird trademark that Nintendo applied for, does this mean that we may see an updated version of the GameCube WaveBird controller. maybe even a Nintendo switch version of the controller?
for all we know the the Game Boy Advance and Wii U ones may lead to updates in the Nintendo Switch online services or whatever Nintendo is planning to do with them...
nice cake. now can someone give me ideas of how i can start cutting him into eatable pieces? should we start with a foot, a hand, an arm, a leg, or an ear. or shall we quote the queen of hearts and say: "off with his head", and start from there.
they should have made him from multiple types/styles of cake instead of just a simple multi-layer cake with too many layers and frosting. this way he would be ready to seave once ready...lmao
the picture of the two of them with all of those bugs is funny. however, the picture needs some additional animals in it.
there needs to be some guests (running for their lives), and tom nook telling everyone to remain calm until the ceremony ends.
the one of them where they are locked up needs to be changed. possibly with them locking up tom nook in the cage due to him over charging them for the wedding. the two must enjoy doing couples activities together. why not make throwing nook in prison for being such a crook be one of them?
does this dock cover somehow help the system so that it will not over heat or will it trap in all of the heat to kill your system just to make you need to buy a new one.
or is this dock cover to keep your Nintendo switch in mint condition while sitting next to the TV even though it is still in use.
having Super Mario 3D World and Pikmin 3 on the Nintendo Switch would be nice. although i rather have a Pikmin 4 than a Pikmin 3 port. however, should have been ported over to the switch already.
Nintendo has ported the same Zelda games so many times in one way or another that i do not think the two on this list will appear as ports on the Nintendo switch. its either that or they should have been ported over already.
unfortunately for me i decided to take a break from animal crossing. (i can't believe i typed that!)
i decided to move on to Super Mario World. its too bad none of the rumors and myths about Super Mario World are true. (at least the good and interesting ones.)
nice. now to make that unused slot into use. maybe it could add USB ports to the switch. or maybe mod the old system even more and have it so that the open slot could contain an Ethernet port and a USB port or two. no more will we have to unplug one device to use another device with the switch and no more having to use a USB hub with the system to allow us to connect multiple devices to the system.
no thanks, but only because there are too many characters to pick . other than Nook and Isabelle, Nintendo would not know where to start from. although Rover may be an option...
@Gnomeitall love the idea, but unfortunately it will need an off switch. or maybe a switch to turn blathers into a white noise machine for when he is sleeping.
"empty the tanks!"...who care... its a game, by now PETA should know that Nook wants us to "fill the tanks"...lol Nook should join then outside the museum saying: "pay up or leave the museum. pay up or leave the museum". or maybe even: "fill the tasks! fill the tanks! fill the takes!"...lmoa
Blathers, needs to start standing up to people or at least stand up to PETA. PETA should be forced to listen to Blathers give a lecture of why they should not be protesting or better yet, make them listen to blathers, blather on about each individual fish, bug, and fossil....lol now that's torture.
i feel as though i have to buy these. i know i may never play with the Super Mario Lego sets, but it seems as though they may make great decoration for my place. hopefully, they will create additional power-up and game sets.
now they just have to create the Super Mario Lego game.it will be all of the fun of Mario, but in Lego form. they have Paper Mario, so why not Lego Mario?
if you only use your nintendo switch for basic gaming than you won't run into any over-heating issues with the Nintendo Switch,
having OCD about hardware lifespans can be a good thing. try using it to your advantage. learn how to do hardware developement.
i got into hardware development because i have three laptops and a lot of spare parts for them. i tend to keep hard drives, CD drives, DVD drives, and more from my older computers since they compatible with my newer laptops.
thankfully most of the parts for them will work with the others to the point of where i can take parts from one of my laptops to fix another. one of them is 15 years old and still works as if it is brand new with the exception of hardware compatibility with the operating system.
I'm not comfortable with opening up the Nintendo switch either. of course then for me its not so much because of the risk of ruining it, but because i don't have any spare parts for it. usually i wait for the devices warranty to expire before i start taking a device apart for experiment with it in one way or another.
i opened up the N64 once for modifying it. the most i managed to do with it was to upgrade the memory it it. the jumper pack upgrades the memory to about 16MB, but i upgraded it to 32MB or so. from what i remember game ROM sizes maxed out at about 32MB.
it didn't do much for the system except for me to keep playing the game for if the game cartridge got pulled out during game-play. the only performance benefit the system got received was that the game could be loaded to the memory in full making it so that game data from the cartridge would not have to be swapped out when going from level to level for games in which required it. however, there was a draw back to it; the system took a lot longer to start then it would be without the modification.
i know that every modern day hardware has sensors for that stuff and more and whatnot. i have been in the I.T field for way too many years. good thing that I and many others have animal crossing as a method of keeping us calm, cool, and collected regardless of what is currently bringing us stress.
in terms of people thinking that Nintendo systems are unbreakable; i wish that were true at times. but from my experience some of them seem that way because of how long i have had them. out of all of the Nintendo hardware i own; the only one that has stopped working is the GameBoy printer.
my Nintendo GameCube started having issues reading some of the Mini-DVDs. unfortunately CDs and DVDs have a tenancy to suffer from disc rotting. and unfortunately, one of the memory cards died a few years back. thankfully, they are a lot more reliable that the ones for the Nintendo 64.
you are lucky that your Nintendo switch never turned off on its own. i think the console only over heated because animal crossing seems to have a lot of demand on the system resources.
i haven't used that method to clean a system or a game cartridge since the days of the N64 when people some people used to blow on the game cartridge as a method of cleaning it even though Nintendo said not to do so.
in the instruction and safety manuals that come with the Nintendo switch, doesn't it tell you how to clean the system? i think Nintendo also posted it on their web site in the Q&A section of their web site.

of course then, i may be one of the lucky ones that has never had any issues with visitors on the island. hopefully over the next few updates they will fix certain "security" issues that we may have with our visitors.
Re: Soapbox: I’m Super Excited About The Future Of Animal Crossing: New Horizons
@Gesu
i didn't really like the Dream Suite. it was nice that it allowed you to visit other towns, but it was a pain in the butt that every shop was closed during the visit. it would be nice to have an update to it so that the shops could be open when visiting the town when using the Dream Suite.
having the shops open will be an option that would only be disabled in the Dream Suite for if people didn't want others visiting their shops.
and as it is i think the the Dream Suite may make a return if people start complaining about certain things too much. and as it is it may just be easier to update certain game-play mechanics for multiplayer mode. like making it so that you have the option to disallow your visitors from swimming during their visit. the dodos at the airport should give us addition and optional travel restrictions. we already have some due to options in the friends list, but those options should be setup at the airport. after-all those dodos should know how to help us by now other than helping us travel and sending letters
I'm not sure about Re-Tail and the Roost returning because of certain game-play changes, but i would like Re-Tail to make a return. however, if too many stores make a return Nookingtons, our favorite shopping mall may need to make a return with a few small updates.
Re: Soapbox: I’m Super Excited About The Future Of Animal Crossing: New Horizons
@Gesu
i was thinking about adding these things as giving us more things to do.
in terms of store closings, i was more thinking about it being due to bad weather. just imagine having to help Timmy or Tommy create a path to get to the store after a heavy snow storm. or worse imagine them being trapped inside the store and wanting out.
or with them being children they may hate or be afraid of the thunder and lightning so you may have to search the island for them and help them overcome their fear so that you can help them get back to their store.
in terms of power outages, the original residential services will not be affected since they only thing in there really is a lantern and i do not think Nook needs to do anything there... either way Tom Nook will always have his place open. with Nook being Nook and all it seems as though he always wants to help us.
Re: Soapbox: I’m Super Excited About The Future Of Animal Crossing: New Horizons
how about more realistic weather? possible store closings and possible power outages, as well as heavy snow storms in which make it harder to wonder the island. maybe Nintendo could update the airport in some way or at least let us change its color.
being able to modify the beach would be nice. it would be a nice addition to the whole island construction thing. also there should be an option to create paths that will not grow weeds over time.
i would like Nintendo make it so that we can have additional expansions and customizations to our homes.
Re: Fan-Made Animal Crossing Tool Predicts Your Island's Weather, Meteor Showers And Rainbows
i have only had one meteor shower.
Re: Nintendo's Wii Is Still A Hit In Care Homes 13 Years Later
if the Nintendo Wii (and possibly the Wiil) is/are still hit(s) than maybe Nintendo should consider making some of the Wii and Wii U accessories compatible with the Nintendo Switch.
Re: Want A Complete LEGO Mario Set? Here's How Much Every Single Bundle Will Cost You
@Strictlystyles
thanks for the reply. however, i wasn't expecting a response.
i know that all of the expansions aren't available yet, hence the rhetorical question.
(un)fortunately, they became available (to view, not to buy) on the Lego web site about 2 minutes after posting my comment earlier.
Re: Want A Complete LEGO Mario Set? Here's How Much Every Single Bundle Will Cost You
and where do i purchase them? (rhetorical question) the expansion sets are not available on the Lego web site yet. it would be better to have them now, not later...
Re: Nintendo Releases Hanafuda And Playing Cards Based On Mario, Zelda, Splatoon And More (Europe)
such nice playing cards, but why are they only available in Europe? why doesn't Nintendo have them available on their U.S. store web site?
Re: Nintendo Clamps Down On The Sale Of Characters And Items In Animal Crossing: New Horizons For Real Money
@thesilverbrick
exactly....
we all already know the answer to that rhetorical question...
Re: Super Mario Odyssey Player Discovers Brand New Wall Clip Glitch
Nintendo may have this patched within a week or two. either way, i already collected that star. may the guys next mission could be to find a faster way of stacking Goombas.
Re: Nintendo Clamps Down On The Sale Of Characters And Items In Animal Crossing: New Horizons For Real Money
hopefully a form of punishment won't be the game being shut down.
Re: Paper Mario: The Origami King Combat And Companion Details Revealed
was it my imagination or did i see paper Tanooki/Raccoon Mario? it is one of my favorite power-ups.
Re: Poll: Should Nintendo Release A Digital-Only Switch?
if they do release a digital only version of the Nintendo Switch, will they create an option so we can get a free digital versions of our games since we won't be able to use the physical cartridges anymore.
they have the My Nintendo rewards web site that keeps track of our purchases. regardless of Nintendo making a digital only version of the switch should we get an option to get free digital copies of our games or at least get a digital copy of the games at a discount. we already have a physical version of the game, so why wouldn't they want to do something nice for us.
Re: Talking Point: The Time Is Right For Microsoft And Nintendo To Get Comfier With One Another
"Forgive us for going back over old ground we've already covered, but could Microsoft and Nintendo please just stop flirting with one another and hook up?" is one of the funniest things that i have heard this year....
and if they do hook up, does it mean that we may see a Nintendo Xbox. or will it be a pipe-dream like the Nintendo PlayStation...lmao console partnerships that may never be unless one of the three giants decides to drop out of the console wars....
if one of them were to drop out, Microsoft would be the first to go. why would they bother fighting a pointless war when they are practically a monopoly.
Re: New Video Shows Super Nintendo World's Spinning Coins In Action
nice coins. nice clouds, but will there be a way to interact with them like Mario does in the games? or are they just there for us to look at from a distance?
Re: Nintendo Applies For Multiple Trademarks - GBA, Wii U, WaveBird, Mii, Paper Mario And Excite Truck
with the WaveBird trademark that Nintendo applied for, does this mean that we may see an updated version of the GameCube WaveBird controller. maybe even a Nintendo switch version of the controller?
for all we know the the Game Boy Advance and Wii U ones may lead to updates in the Nintendo Switch online services or whatever Nintendo is planning to do with them...
Re: Random: Brighten Your Day With This Glorious Animal Crossing Tom Nook Cake
nice cake. now can someone give me ideas of how i can start cutting him into eatable pieces? should we start with a foot, a hand, an arm, a leg, or an ear. or shall we quote the queen of hearts and say: "off with his head", and start from there.
they should have made him from multiple types/styles of cake instead of just a simple multi-layer cake with too many layers and frosting. this way he would be ready to seave once ready...lmao
Re: Random: Not All Animal Crossing Players Are Having Happy Wedding Seasons
the picture of the two of them with all of those bugs is funny. however, the picture needs some additional animals in it.
there needs to be some guests (running for their lives), and tom nook telling everyone to remain calm until the ceremony ends.
the one of them where they are locked up needs to be changed. possibly with them locking up tom nook in the cage due to him over charging them for the wedding. the two must enjoy doing couples activities together. why not make throwing nook in prison for being such a crook be one of them?
Re: Random: Could This Be The Most Pointless Switch Accessory Yet?
does this dock cover somehow help the system so that it will not over heat or will it trap in all of the heat to kill your system just to make you need to buy a new one.
or is this dock cover to keep your Nintendo switch in mint condition while sitting next to the TV even though it is still in use.
Re: Random: Animal Crossing Player Expertly Recreates Parks And Recreation Scene
interesting video. now to add the part of the scene were he pulls his tooth out.
Re: Feature: Potential Switch Port Round-Up - The Wii U Games That Haven't Come To Switch
having Super Mario 3D World and Pikmin 3 on the Nintendo Switch would be nice. although i rather have a Pikmin 4 than a Pikmin 3 port. however, should have been ported over to the switch already.
Nintendo has ported the same Zelda games so many times in one way or another that i do not think the two on this list will appear as ports on the Nintendo switch. its either that or they should have been ported over already.
Re: Video: 7 Strange Myths Surrounding Animal Crossing: New Horizons
unfortunately for me i decided to take a break from animal crossing. (i can't believe i typed that!)
i decided to move on to Super Mario World. its too bad none of the rumors and myths about Super Mario World are true. (at least the good and interesting ones.)
Re: Fan Transforms Broken NES Into A Fully Functioning Switch Dock
nice. now to make that unused slot into use. maybe it could add USB ports to the switch. or maybe mod the old system even more and have it so that the open slot could contain an Ethernet port and a USB port or two. no more will we have to unplug one device to use another device with the switch and no more having to use a USB hub with the system to allow us to connect multiple devices to the system.
Re: Random: Come On Nintendo, There's Clearly Demand For Animal Crossing Build-A-Bear
no thanks, but only because there are too many characters to pick . other than Nook and Isabelle, Nintendo would not know where to start from. although Rover may be an option...
@Gnomeitall love the idea, but unfortunately it will need an off switch. or maybe a switch to turn blathers into a white noise machine for when he is sleeping.
Re: Guide: Where To Preorder The Totally Adorable LEGO Super Mario Sets
now, when and where can we start per-ordering the expansion and power-up packs?
hopefully, there will be a Lego DLC pack for Super Mario Maker 2.
Re: PETA Isn't Happy With Animal Crossing's Blathers, Or His Fish-Trapping Museum
Re: Switch LEGO Mario's Costumes With These Power-Up Packs, Coming In August
i feel as though i have to buy these. i know i may never play with the Super Mario Lego sets, but it seems as though they may make great decoration for my place. hopefully, they will create additional power-up and game sets.
now they just have to create the Super Mario Lego game.it will be all of the fun of Mario, but in Lego form. they have Paper Mario, so why not Lego Mario?
Re: Guide: Nintendo Switch Issues And Hardware Faults - How To Fix Common Switch Problems
@Doktor-Mandrake
if you only use your nintendo switch for basic gaming than you won't run into any over-heating issues with the Nintendo Switch,
having OCD about hardware lifespans can be a good thing. try using it to your advantage. learn how to do hardware developement.
i got into hardware development because i have three laptops and a lot of spare parts for them. i tend to keep hard drives, CD drives, DVD drives, and more from my older computers since they compatible with my newer laptops.
thankfully most of the parts for them will work with the others to the point of where i can take parts from one of my laptops to fix another. one of them is 15 years old and still works as if it is brand new with the exception of hardware compatibility with the operating system.
Re: Guide: Nintendo Switch Issues And Hardware Faults - How To Fix Common Switch Problems
@Doktor-Mandrake
i know that every modern day hardware has sensors for that stuff and more and whatnot. i have been in the I.T field for way too many years. good thing that I and many others have animal crossing as a method of keeping us calm, cool, and collected regardless of what is currently bringing us stress.
in terms of people thinking that Nintendo systems are unbreakable; i wish that were true at times. but from my experience some of them seem that way because of how long i have had them. out of all of the Nintendo hardware i own; the only one that has stopped working is the GameBoy printer.
my Nintendo GameCube started having issues reading some of the Mini-DVDs. unfortunately CDs and DVDs have a tenancy to suffer from disc rotting. and unfortunately, one of the memory cards died a few years back. thankfully, they are a lot more reliable that the ones for the Nintendo 64.
you are lucky that your Nintendo switch never turned off on its own. i think the console only over heated because animal crossing seems to have a lot of demand on the system resources.
i haven't used that method to clean a system or a game cartridge since the days of the N64 when people some people used to blow on the game cartridge as a method of cleaning it even though Nintendo said not to do so.
in the instruction and safety manuals that come with the Nintendo switch, doesn't it tell you how to clean the system? i think Nintendo also posted it on their web site in the Q&A section of their web site.
