Awesome looking store. I still have fond memories of visiting the Nintendo store in New York several years ago. If I ever make it out to SFO again, I will definitely check this out.

I'm always looking forward to the next Zelda, and I'd love a new 3D Mario. A new proper Star Fox would be killer.

To add to the legacy of the Nintendo/Mariners connection, there's not one but four Nintendo games from the Super NES/N64 days featuring Ken Griffey Jr. Anyway, very cool to see this partnership renewed.

I'd like to build the center or a town, but those sets would only include the Pokemon as mini-figs, which would probably be janky. So I'll take an individual Pikachu or Charizard.

I also am unable to submit my Nothing for this week vote.

This game is so difficult to play co-op anyway, but it shouldn't be impossible. Hopefully there's a patch forthcoming that resolves this and the other aforementioned issues.

Been a while since we've seen as many as 3 PS5 games in the top 10 in Japan. I'm really enjoying revisiting DKCR so far, so I'm glad to see it doing well.

Saving the house from being demolished in Breath of the Wild is a standout for me, but there's also a quest in TMS FE where Itsuki goes and hangs out with Tiki for the day that was an excellent experience.

Already preloaded onto the Switch and ready to go. Can't wait to jump back into this one. I haven't played it since the release of the original Wii game.

Not a game that I'll be buying again, but that's a huge announcement. I'm happy for everyone that's excited for this. I'm curious to see how they'll adapt the map grid and online interactions for this.

Interesting that PS5 had several new releases that sold well, and it didn't help system sales at all. Just an observation.

@ShaneReactions And those save batteries last forever too. I had a copy of the game that still had my save file all the way up until I sold my NES stuff several years ago. Save file still around after 22 years. No battery lasts that long these days.

As much as I loved TOTK, it felt many times like a marathon. I'm looking forward to the change of pace this game looks like it will provide. I've got to wrap up FF VII first (about 70% of the way through), but this should be next on the list - if I don't put FF VII down and play through this instead.

I stopped collecting amiibo a while ago, but my son is getting both sets.

Just wait - there will be a Digital Foundry of footage of some game playing on a monitor in the museum tour to determine if it was footage of a game running on next gen hardware or not.

I picked the Squid Sisters because they're old and so am I.

My family and I loved the first one on Wii, so we'll probably pick this up at some point. The forced JoyCon usage is a bummer - hopefully they'll add a pro controller option in a future update.

I feel sad now that I never took my Switch to a rooftop party. That was one of the major selling points. Now I'll never be the life of the party like Nintendo Switch Karen.

I don't think I ever really appreciated these treasure chests in BOTK until someone made an automated toy/cartridge case out of it. That's pretty cool.

The only game(s) I've gotten so far that released in 2024 has been the Tomb Raider Remasters, so I guess that's my pick by default. By the end of the year, I'm guessing my pick will likely change to Zelda.

I can't say I've never thought things like this when battling a tough spot in a game, but it's another thing to actually act on those thoughts, or threatening others. I appreciate that the individual confessed to what they did, and I hope that they're getting the help they need.

Oh man, I forgot about that game. That was my favorite arcade game for a while when I was a kid. I had serious twinges of nostalgia when I saw the track in Picture 4. Those were the days. Thanks for the review. I may try this out at some point, but there's no desire to plunk down $25 to revisit this.

@gcunit I agree on all of your points. The basketball 3-point contest was one of my favorite modes in Wii Sports Resort, so I'm looking forward to trying out this new sport when the update is ready.

@gcunit Sorry yeah, that's a confusing sentence. I don't mean it hasn't been a big seller, clearly it has been. But Nintendo placed it front and center in this, what I would consider to be, promotional piece amongst all of these titles that will be for sale soon, and it struck me as odd that a game that's been around for years would be included in a sales promo because of a basketball update. Are they really hoping to get a sales bump in Switch Sports because of this update? (Or am I reading too much into its inclusion on this graphic? Also highly likely.)

Zelda EW looks like it'll be a good time, and I'm so glad Nintendo is rescuing DKCR from the Wii/3DS. Definitely looking forward to the two of those, plus several others I'll keep an eye on (Mario Party, Fantasian, Stray). I still don't see why Nintendo is making a big deal about the b-ball update for Switch Sports - is that supposed to make it a big seller now, guys?

MK4 was one of my favorites of the series. I'd love to see that added to the app. Though I wouldn't get my hopes up - Mortal Kombat hasn't exactly been all that great about reboots/remasters of the older games of the series.

I'm very excited for a new Zelda. Not having the ability to run around stabbing with a sword will take some getting used to, but having Zelda in a starring role is a great idea, and I'm excited to play Zelda a whole new way. It'll be here before we know it!

I picked Vengeance, but I won't be getting it immediately. I'll wait for a sale for that one. And then I'll need to find a buyer for the original SMT V.

I'd prefer to have the option to change the experience so I can find my own personal preference, but it's not necessary. I'm a Nintendo fan, so it's been a long time since I've been picky over my graphics.

So frustrating that SMT V Vengeance isn't offered as an expansion DLC for the base game. I'd pay $20-$30 for the expansion. I'm not going to spend another $60 to rebuy SMT V just to get the expansion. I know the dead horse has already been beaten multiple times, but every time I read mention of that game...

I haven't played this game since it was brand new, when I played through it twice. Looking forward to jumping into it again and reliving all of the nostalgia. It's still crazy to think that this 3-CD behemoth of a game fits into the little old Switch now.

TMNT is such a big release, it gets mentioned in this article two weeks in a row! I was hoping for better reviews, so I'll wait until a sale for that one.

I wanted this game to be good. I didn't think it would be Shredder's Revenge good, but I thought it might be Turtles in Time good. Oh well, deleting from wish list now.

Very hopeful for Turtles Arcade Wrath. Given that it's GameMill, I'm waiting for a review first.

2 and a half years later, I'm using this video again to hopefully remove the drifting issue from my son's controller. Thanks again for making this guide, and for not deleting it.

This was a great game. I have fond memories of playing through this in 2020 (when I probably should've been working). I don't know if I would pick up a remaster on the Switch, but if you haven't experienced it, you absolutely should.

I really wanted to like Contra more, but it needed more time and care. I didn't pick up anything this month.

I hope the Turtles game is a good port. The arcade game is pretty fun.

It's great how people have held this moment in the game over the years. I remember when I got to this point during my initial playthrough on the SNES in the 90s, I was so focused and anxious about getting the lines right that the performance didn't really resonate with me emotionally. I'm glad that the fanbase has allowed this moment to be fully noticed and appreciated by everyone, including 18-year-old me. One day, I will play through this game again. There's just too many damn games to play now.

I bought '23 for $5 a few months ago in a sale, and I still haven't gotten around to playing it. So, take your time NL. It's amazing how badly they're treating the Switch version of this game. The past couple years, they've been great about supporting the Switch.
