@PlayingWithPower Slay The Spire has you start with a limited basic deck and build with each run. After each battle you add a card to your arsenal. Pretty sure that classifies.
People can enjoy the games any way they want. For me, I only take a shiny that I have caught myself, or been given through an event. And I do not count my GO, or Let's GO shiny pokemon towards my tally.
But thats how I choose to hunt. Like someone said in the comments earlier, its all about the value that YOU get out of them.
I don’t want to avoid battles in a game. They should be entertaining and rewarding, not punishing and time consuming. Why would I want to play a game where I am trying to avoid things because they are annoying?
It is safe to say that the direction this series has gone in is not for me. The paper gimmick was never the whole story in the first two games. It was more complimentary. Ah well. What’s this bug game I’ve been hearing about? Haha.
After watching some early reaction videos, I am going to pass on this game. Battles are once again something to be avoided as they offer nothing in terms of reward or progress. Put a fork in this series, its done.
I have the first 30 or so limited run games. But when they bumped up the shipping costs to Canada I just couldn’t justify the price I was paying anymore. I did play a bunch of amazing games I would have never tried otherwise though.
@WesEds I don't celebrate Easter either, in fact I am not religious in the slightest. That won't stop me from collecting eggs in a video game with anthropomorphic animals.
Just release 4, 5 and 6 on one cart as a collection. I don’t want any buttons where you are instantly lvl 99, fast forward modes etc. Just give me a classic collection square.
@clvr It's because the King of England attacked their country via sail boat over 200 years ago. That's why every man, woman and child needs to stay armed at all times. You don't want to be left empty handed if the Queen sends over another fleet of schooners.
@Kalmaro every point you make is about how, “yes this is bad, but there are other things that are bad too”. Guns kill, but so do hammers knives and throwing stars. Police shoot and kill African Americans, but African Americans are apparently overly violent towards each other.
A thief in a department store is still a problem, even if there is another thief an aisle over. Maybe the department store needs to rework how they handle their security as a whole?
While we aren’t perfect up here in Canada I am so happy that no one up here thinks a gun is a constitutional right. What are you all defending yourselves from in the USA all the time? Talk about an entire nation living in total paranoia. No thanks.
I think an ability to play any style of game you want without worrying about what other people will think about you says a lot. I happen to enjoy Nintendo, but I also enjoy a lot of the so called “‘mature” or “gritty” games on the market.
I think it’s fantastic to live in a time with so much variety in our chosen hobby!
Any one of Nintendo's classic consoles with HDMI output would be an instant buy for me. The N64 in particular as I assume they would sell new controllers as well. It's hard to find 64 controllers that havent been ravaged by Mario Party haha.
Me and my cousin have been trying to play NHL20 online, and it is incredibly frustrating. On top of the that the menu is so unfriendly for users. It shouldn't be this hard to play a simple match of football, hockey or whatever.
@impurekind Yes there are more flu deaths, but there are an estimated 5 million cases of the flu world wide each year. Of course the flu kills more people each year. I'm not saying that the media is not blowing things out of proportion, but if you brought Corona virus up to the infection numbers that the flu achieves, your argument would be invalid.
I hate they are making it a, "person from our world is pulled into the alternate world" story. You can tell a compelling story without a main character from the USA.
Hey I got 3 months using gold coins from games I hadn't collected them on yet. No skin off my Bagon.
That said, after transferring over my living dex and using it with Sw/sh and let’s go, I am in for the year after my three months are up. I think it’s great.
What an accomplishment in game design. I will fully admit that I did not think that The Witcher 3 on Switch was possible in any way, shape or form. The cross save between PC and Switch for this game, and Divinity 2 are also very appealing.
@Heavyarms55 something about how the girl looks in the tree. Sort of a jungle/feral vibe. Makes me think of grass. Haha. Just a guess though. I M almost always wrong...about everything.
I have used Pokemon Bank as my storage for my Living Dex for a few years now, so I have completely transferred over to Home. I like the new features, but at the end of the day its simply storage for my lifes work. haha
I am not bothered that I have to pay an extra 13 dollars Canadian a year to store my sweet babies. Future games which use Home will exponentially increase the value of the software.

its going to be a giant werewolf Pokémon obviously. It will be grass/dark and it’s going to be a loner rebel, who plays by its own rules.
