The reason they called it “Legends” is because it is a side game from the mainline franchise. Like “Let’s go”. I have enjoyed it immensely but I think that the people who think that this is how Pokémon is going to be moving forward are going to be very disappointed when gen 9 does drop.

I am hoping for a physical version, I think the Japanese version has English included. I played the fan translated version and loved it, so I am really looking forward to this!

Ff3, Chrono Trigger and Earthbound. The holy trinity.

I usually go for Japanese with English subtitles when it’s an option in games like these. I find the dialogue delivery a little cheesy in English.

I love it so far but I hope legends stays as a spin off series, and the regular main line games continue the way they are. (Maybe learning a few lessons from the success and reception of legends).

This is one of my favorite games on steam. It’s worth reading another review if you are a fan of the genre.

He ruins things for attention to make people mad and stir up controversy. Pokémon cards, boxing, and now game boys. Don’t fall for his crap. This is nothing but a “ain’t I a stinker?” Bugs bunny moment.

I can’t wait for this. Online play will be tricky unless they keep the PvP maps relatively small. Otherwise matches can last a couple hours, and I foresee a lot of people disconnecting. I do hope for the best, and I hope they keep your battle records!

Ugh. Another great 3DS series has gone to mobile to die. Just like the Denpa Men.

@Dragonite89 I’m just saying that telling us you have played since 2007 has the opposite effect of the point you are trying to make as most of us have been playing since 1998. Longer than you.

I’d love to try the steam deck, looks neat. But I’m not paying that much money to play games I already play on a nicer screen. Never really been the type of guy to bust out handhelds on airplanes or at doctors offices haha. And that goes for the switch as well. It’s mostly docked in my house.

The Steam Deck looks like a pretty incredible piece of tech though. I am intrigued by how they are handling mouse heavy game’s, and who knows, maybe one day I will get one.

@MJF not everyone wants to play competitive. It is not the end all of modes in games like these. Some people are just having fun. I like the 2/2/2 style right now, but I suppose having one tank could be exciting. When the tank drops all hell will break loose. Haha

@MJF It doesn’t work. Every single person picks dps and no one is willing to change. There are seasonal modes that let players just pick and it’s a disaster. What you suggest is nice, but it relies on people being decent, which they aren’t. Haha.

As a pc player of OW from day one, I have to say I don’t really understand this change. People who like to play characters like Winston, Hog and DVA are going to see a huge change to their play style. Maybe they should just boost their damage and move them to dps?

Classic four player party game on the switch. Had a couple good nights with this one before the pandemic started.

I thought it was great. A big political drama, deep strategy to build and master units and tactics, and it looks nice. My two major gripes are that the battle field seems to get a little cluttered, and there should be a button you can hold to see which unit belongs to which commander. Also I’m sure it will be in the final game, but I want Japanese voice with English subtitles/text. I can’t handle some of these English voice actors. A bit cheesy haha.

This looks interesting! That's a really unique game mechanic.

XC2 is one of the best RPG experiences I have had in years BUTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT, I couldnt enjoy it until I switched it to Japanese with subtitles. Those English voices made me cringe. Also, I was embarrassed to play it around my girlfriend a bit as there were scantily clad women running around yelling in Japanese haha. Its just too annoying in English!

I have Marvelous and For The Frog The Bell Tolls, and I have applied fan translation patches to them using the Retron 5. It is criminal that we missed these two games in the west. Especially for you Legend of Zelda lovers out there.

@60frames-please Pixeljunk Monsters 2 would have been so good if the game didnt take like 3 minutes to load each round. I couldnt handle it.

@Ventilator Sure the 64 version had its limitations, but it is a far better game. Perfect Dark Zero felt like a shallow imitation. Graphically they do have to move forward, but I hope this game plays more like the original and a lot less like Zero.
