Re: Jim Carrey Responds To Sonic The Hedgehog Movie Backlash, Delay And Redesign

It reminds me of the episode of The Simpsons where Homer is allowed to design his own car. Homer thinks he knows what he wants, and he thinks he knows how to design automobiles. It turns out to be a monstrosity and a mish mash of random ideas.

People think they know how to make movies. People should see finished films and rather like them or hate them. I don’t think a general movie goer should have any say in the creative process, and they definitely shouldn’t be able to whine until they get their way because it’s how they imagined the character.

Re: You Cannot Have A Complete National Pokédex In Pokémon Sword And Shield

I am a little bummed. I rush through the "story" of Pokemon games to get to my favorite part, which is completing the dex. I have a nearly complete Living Dex (about 35 shy of having them ALL, haha), and losing the ability to bring all or any of them into the new game has deflated my excitement a great deal. Being able to form a strong end game team from any of my past, present, of future pokemon, is the biggest strength the series has!

I will still play the games, and not preach doom and gloom for the series just yet. I suppose Pokemon Home will become my glorified trophy room/prison.

@MisterDevil To play an opening cut scene, make a new event and a trigger. In the event select the trigger, and under the column where it says, When? You would select at the start of the match. Under the description of what happens, select play cut scene.

For the end scene, just tack on play cut scene after your win condition. So once the condition is met, add on play cut scene. Does that make sense?

@Evilworm I get what you are saying. I play a lot of indies, and have picked up a few of the ports along the way. I have kept very busy with the Switch, but for someone who is expecting block busters like Metroid Prime 4, Zelda, etc non stop on the console, you are going to be disappointed. That's just not how they operate. Call is lazy, or what you will, their strategy is paying off.

Yes they focused heavy on Smash, but it paid off for them. They gambled on a nearly sure bet and won. At the end of the day, do they want you as a fan? Or do they want 2.5 million Japanes
e people as fans. They can't make everyone happy, and they go where they will make the most money.

@Lando_ It's funny because I have both a Switch and a PS4 and I love them both. Both deserve high praise. Both deliver a unique experience.

I am not so blinded by fanboyism that I can't comprehend why the PS4 is so loved. It's a fantastic console, but I play both consoles equally.

I would never call PS4 owners sheep. And I would never discredit the Switchs success. It's a good time to be a gamer.

Re: Review: Fight Of Gods - A Comically Bad Crossover That Nobody Asked For

I find it funny that we can all accept Greek gods in video games depicted in all manners, but when Christian or Catholic faith is mentioned people lose their minds. The only reason you are upset seeing Jesus in a video game, and not Zeus is because the Greek gods fell out of favor.

The Greek gods were worshiped in full until Rome was converted to Christianity for purely political reasons. If Constantine the Great had not come along, this would not even be a discussion.

I can't believe people still believe this junk is true.
