A brand new trailer has been released for Death Crown, the real-time strategy game headed to Switch this November.
The video's a little different to your usual game trailer, opting to blend the title's standout visuals with a punchy alternative track from Russian band, intouchwithrobots. Even if you're not a fan, it's hard to deny that the overall style on show here is pretty striking.
The team behind the game tells us that Death Crown's development is progressing nicely, with that November release window still intact. The game will launch with a customised control system and its two DLC packs included: Era of Human and Demonic Menace.
If you missed our previous coverage of this one, we'll leave you with a description of what the game's all about. Make sure to share your thoughts with us in the comments below.
"The rules could not be simpler. You must destroy the enemy fortress, and to do so you must generate resources (by building mines, or mills, depending on the faction), troops that you will throw against your opponent and towers that will serve to defend your positions and conquer more ground on the map.
Long-term strategy is not rewarded here, in the style of classic RTS: in Death Crown you have to act, and react to your opponent’s movements, at full speed. The course of each match can change completely in a matter of seconds, just like an express chess game. Losing concentration, even for an instant, is paid with a painful defeat."

jesus christ that hurt my eyes
The style is certainly striking but it looks like it'd be pretty hard to actually see what's happening.
I though it was hand drawn graphics that i like more
Love the black and white style videos, but I am awful at RTS games, so ah well, not for me.
This looks really.....stressful.
@Scottwood101 glad its not just me
This looks like completely the wrong choice of graphical style for a fast-paced RTS...
I’m sorry. Even if this game is awesome, it hurts my eyes to watch. I loved madworld on Wii but it gave me migraines.
This game looks amazing. Can't wait!
Cool. The song's available on bandcamp.

Urgh, I like how it looks, but the music sounds so out of place, that it makes the whole thing off putting to me.
They certainly have a handle on their aesthetic style of choice!
Looking forward to seeing some coherent gameplay, and hearing what kind og in-game music we'll be subjugated to.
Like others have said the graphical style is really cool but not sure it lends itself to the type of game it is ...
