They better keep their hands off of Dragon Quest 12. I swear if they do the ff15 treatment on my sweet dragon quest my soul will leave my body from pure despair.

@diegoarthur then these games aren’t for you. Simple as that. By skipping battles and playing on easy mode you are playing a watered down shallow version of what was originally intended. I don’t expect other genres to mold themselves to my tastes, why would you? Entitled.

@Expa0 I’m with you. Random encounters are the very foundation on which these games are built. Squares remasters have bothered me because there are buttons to skip fights, or have max gold, or max stats. What is the point of playing?

Once the controls clicked for me it became my favourite 3DS game. The online battles were really fun, and felt a little smash brothers ish haha.

If you are thinking about getting a physical copy it’s now or never, prices are sky rocketing. That goes for both 3ds dragon quest games as well.

I agree on Twilight Princess and NSMB 2. Both very uninspired entires in their respective franchises.

As someone who works in film, and has seen this toxic culture begin to finally take a turn in our industry after a few meaty scum bags were finally brought to justice … I love seeing this stuff called out. People also defended Harvey Weinstein and said, “that’s just the industry, babe” so don’t listen to these guys telling you that life’s hard and you gotta suck it up.

Remappable buttons and text size would always be nice. Xenoblade Chronicles X is unplayable to me no matter which tv I use or how hard I squint haha.

I am not a fan of ALL games having an easy mode. I don't think every single game should have to bend to the will of the unskilled, or those that are too busy to master it.

If all you want is story then go watch a movie.

Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition! I’ve only played the second game in the series so I figured I better play this one before number 3 arrives.

Is there anything special about this growlithe that makes it different than the ones you can catch in game?

I want them to return to the classic battle to catch method for this game and keep the dodge, and toss to the Legends line of games.

I feel like I am going to want this to be Final Fantasy Tactics so badly that I am gonna hold it to impossible standards and be disappointed haha.

I want to use this as a chance to jump into anime, I have very limited scope. I watched DBZ, Pokemon and Sailor Moon when I was young, and season one of attack on titan. And I guess the cliché movies like Akira and Ninja Scroll. haha.

If I signed up for Crunchy Roll, do any anime aficionados recommend a jump off point for a newbie?

@BlubberWhale authentic Nintendo brand s video cables have become pretty pricey.

There are cheap versions from China obviously, and your mileage on those will vary.
Or if your cables have have the standard s video red and white connectors but also the yellow composite connector that’s an indicator of a poor cable.

If your got three authentic cables for that price I commend you! If you want to have a heart attack look up the price of authentic composite gamecube cables haha.

Edit - Nes improvement takes console modding. You can add an s video port to an nes but it takes some doing. And if you are going that far you may as well just get an rgb modded nes.

@Specter_of-the_OLED it sort of is enhanced by the 3d as wario jumps between the back and front of the screen. Like mutant mudds. But I do hope Nintendo releases these games for people to play somehow, someday haha.

I hope catching and battling goes back to the way it was before. Would love for the legends games to be their own thing, so everyone can be happy.

I own the virtual boy with about 6 or 7 games. Wario Land and Mario Clash are both worth playing today. It’s a shame they are locked behind red and black prison bars.

@Dirty0814 I actually have my gamecube hooked up in a crtv trinitron. No HDMI there haha.

@Savage_Joe you may be confusing component with composite.

@Spider-Kev it does, but those cables are starting to cost over 100 bucks a pop. I have one hooked up and it’s worth it, but component is the best of the best for the cube.

I am always skeptical of after market cables though, so I’m gonna have to see some comparison videos on this one.

Aw the Denpa Men. Do yourself a favour and go buy all three of them while you still can. But if you don’t want to break the bank, just buy the second one. It’s a full fledged rpg.

I guess I should buy Pocket Jockey, a game Ive been meaning to play for years haha.
