As long as the battles go back to normal in Gen 8, I am all for the Let's Go games.

The thought of Norman Reedus as Link in a live action Legend of Zelda movie flooded my mind while I was watching this, and I couldn't stop laughing haha.

I loved the first Switch release in this series, but this trailer music is making me second guess getting this game. Is this song in the game? It better not be haha

I feel like people have to take these games away from Square for their own good. Like how they took Star Wars away from George Lucas.

I'm a big NES collector, but I decided not to worry too much about 3 and 5 screw variants. It's neat, but if I have a copy of a game, I have it.

I am in Canada and there are even Canadian only variants that have CAN in their product code. I would go insane, and go broke trying to get them all.

Good stuff though, love any info for retro collectors on Nintendo Life.

Hyrule Warriors, and Tropical Freeze are the two Wii-U games I didn't play. That is convenient for me haha. Guess it's time. Also, Kirby and Mario Tennis officially have my interest.

@parasnail I agree. I havn't enjoyed an RPG this much since the Snes days. (I switched the dialogue to Japanese, and turned off the combat banter though haha)

The ever increasing costs of rent, and living expenses in turn increases the price of their vintage stock. They are in the business to make a profit after all.

As these prices have gone up, I have found my vintage game purchasing has moved online. It's no fault of the shops, they need to pay the rent, but I can't justify paying what they are asking. Even if it supports local game stores.

Who are we to stand in the way of love? Be it between man and woman, woman and tetris, or tetris and laundry detergent?

@Akropolon I hit the analog by mistake haha. God mode activated. I think it would be amazing if they gave you an option when you start a new game to have it turned on, or off permanently. A simple fix for people like me who don`t want it included at all.

I don't want Final Fantasy 6 to be released with the same cheat code methods they added in 7 and 9. Unlimited gold, skip the fights, max level. Why even play the game? If you want a great story, go read a book.

@Anti-Matter While I have never been a fan of the X-box family, don't be too harsh on them for their naming convention. You are loyal to the company that named a console the Wii-U after all. Equally as confusing.

@Mr_Zurkon Watch the behind the scenes videos on the Switch. It shows that the team created an 8-Bit Zelda to test ideas for Breath of The Wild. This was a Zelda game from day 1.

@impurekind I wouldn't read a movie review from someone who has only watched trailers, and random scenes online. They have yet to actually experience the film as the film crew intended.

I have to agree with this article. We really are in a golden age in gaming. Things I could only imagine as a lad are now possible.

@Kalmaro I think as a company you have to weigh the pros and cons of allowing people who alter the code of their phone to play your game. I understand the benefit of rooting your phone, but understand it from their side. Why take the risk on such a small monetary demographic?
