"tank-like controls" ... was worried they would modernize the controls, glad to hear it still classic survival horror.
And, kinda strange they don't just release the free to play (demo) portion of the game during the first weeks of October before the game comes out on the 22nd, to possibly help further sales on release date.
@DiscoGentleman , same here, I didn't understand Homebrew and how to do it, all I wanted was to play FF4 on my Wii (since I couldn't purchse it in NA), and a friend hooked me up
4 Months is the amount of time they have to wait in jail BEFORE the actual trial begins. So whether they are found guilty or innocent after the trial, they at least served some time. Being denied bail pretty much means the evidence is stacked up enough against them that they should not be allowed on the streets while they wait for their trial.
These kids are getting a rude awakening of what real life is really all about.
These cowards. You don't brag on something like this before doing it unless you want to be caught and prevented from doing it. Glad they did since it was prevented. Given the attendance and number of children attending this event, pretty sure a jury will show no mercy. Unless they blame GTA5, as always, and not the suspects themselves.
@mowerdude 3DS AC adapters are like $8, less if you actually look around. If Nintendo added one they would jack up the price about $20, I'm happy about their decision.
Shifting to Indies ... because it's all the 3rd party support they have, as far as Wii U goes. Not that it's a bad thing, just nothing we didn't already know.
"it's played a key role in total US Wii U game sales for the first seven months of the year" ... probably has to do with the fact it's one of the only Wii U games released during the first 7 months of the year
@ThomasBW84 I know xD Just, it really wouldn't surprise after the countless disappointments we get, here. I only need 2 games on my Wii U this year, FF5 & Zero Mission
@Ryno Just to be clear, I agree with you on 3rd Parties not coming back, or at least never selling good on any new Nintendo console ever again. But an example, is South Park ( which sold more versions than the PS1, because N64 version came out a year earlier) .... which is the same issue WiiU faced with 3rd party inferior ports that were a year old. But I had to look far and wide for that example lol
@GraveLordXD Besides all the thing you listed, which I agree on; my biggest gripe was the lack of exploration and that feeling of discovering hidden items. Hidden items were located on maps with a shiny orb that lead you straight to them ( and no option to turn this off), all you had to do was figure out if you use a missile or a bomb ... pathetic.
"We're taking our great IP and transforming them and making them new again — making them fresh and appealing for the fan who feels they know the franchise."
Basically, "we're abandoning the fanbase that made these series popular, and casting a wider net to try and attract casual/core audiences."
I can play Zelda OoT on almost any available console, including Wii U WiiVC ... yet 2 months later no zero mission in NA; which is only available in a GBA cart in NA. Legit, NoA
It's really disheartening. Because the games you wanted and expected on Wii U will be pushed back to give NX a more respectable launch library. A system not even 3 years old already being phased. Unless there is a Metroid Prime 4 at launch, with a reasonable console price; I will wait for the inevitable price drop less than a year later. And I've been a day console buyer with nintendo since SNES, been with N since 1986. The last couple gen's have been frustrating with Nintendo. There have been great games, but the amount of disappointments far outweigh that.
Hoping for the best, but been doing that since the Gamecube. Still holding out hope they're keeping Retro & Metroid Prime 4 a secret for a this long until a soon to be aired Nintendo Direct to shut us all up. lol
Was really looking forward to this. Now, all I can look forward to are the glitch mocking posts that will flood miiverse when it releases. Hopefully patches come through and fix many of the issues.
Pulled this off without having to trigger a new trampoline, and by pure accident during a friendlies set. Got many of us stumped lol https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9doA35b8CZQ
Was excited for amiibo in the beginning, but really don't care for it anymore; especially how almost every 1st party game now is including amiibo locked content and you can't even find the specific amiibo anywhere. 30 years I've been with Nintendo, and sadly after this years E3 disaster I'm about ready to call it quits. The only redeeming Wii U title, for me this past year as been the localization of Fatal Frame, so that's keeping me stringin along in the meantime.
What baffles me the most, is you have Hyrule Warriors, which was a spinoff game that includes almost every major character from all the zelda games. But they knew not to have "Legend of Zelda" in the title ... to not confuse fans and to keep it out of the core series. And yet here is Nintendo, slapping Metroid Prime on this game without a second glance.
Will wait for Splatoon to actually be finished before paying full price. The inability to make lobbies with friends at launch is unacceptable. Plus, between now and August I'm sure Amazon will have a price drop.
What limitations could a 2.5D game pose on the Wii U. LOL. Sounds like even though they've gone independent, they're playing it AAA safe. Not interested, anymore if not coming to Nintendo. Youtube LP it is, I suppose.
Plan on getting this, but not a Day 1 purchase anymore. I have no fun playing against random people I don't know or can't talk to. There are people out there who only buy these games with the intention to ruin the online experience for others. So when the "friend lobbies" feature gets released, that's when I'll most likely buy the game. Voice chat is not an issue, since my friends and I all use skype when playing online games with each other.
@rjejr seriously, seeing this as the only bit of news worthy of its own article doesnt really give much hype lol. At work so havent watched the stream myself, but still, not too hyped to hurry home and watch immediately
The best news since the WiiU was released! Been waiting for this since the GamePad was first revealed. I suppose we can finally leave the japanses miiverse FF5 page in peace now
My only hope that we'll get Zero Mission soon is possibly they plan to release it along with the MH4U Metroid DLC ... which, yes, I'm also hoping will be April's 4U DLC
I never cared for the games or the studio behind them. What bothered me most was this guy was a verified user account on miiverse, and the idiotic and trolling posts he made in attempts to promote his games on the service.
@BRAINFOX oh I know, I've done my research. Many people are complaining on capcomunity's site, and not a single response from anyone. EU can buy the themes, we can't. And it sux MH4U N3DS bundles didnt even get the option for the free one. Nintendo's excuse for that is they got the bundle $10 cheaper lmao. Bundles are suppose to be cheaper than buying separately to begin with ... makes no sense

Think they're sold out now, cause the page now takes you to the japanese amiibo version order page. Unless the link posted in the article has changed.

No hassle, here.

Seems Mario & Zelda games are immune to this trend. Fans of other series are left to rot while waiting
