It's that time again, North American gamers, for details on the fresh download treats making their way to the eShop. This week brings an amiibo freebie, a Nintendo 64 classic, DLC, demos, discounts and more besides. It's certainly a diverse and quirky line-up this time around, so let's get to the details.
Missed the European Nintendo Download Update earlier in the week? Fret not! The details are right here.
Wii U eShop
amiibo Tap: Nintendo's Greatest Bits (Nintendo, free) - The latest use for those amiibo toys you've probably been collecting, this app contains segments of 30 Virtual Console games, and you can simply scan an amiibo on the GamePad to access a particular demo. You 'assign' an amiibo to a specific game and take on up to 10 three minute 'scenes' from that title; we'll bring you our impressions soon.
Wii U Virtual Console
Paper Mario (Nintendo, $9.99) - This is the Nintendo 64 title where Mario's paper-based RPG adventures began. Though it's a relatively linear adventure it's full of wit and innovation, setting up a variety of sequels in the generations to follow. We gave this top marks in our Wii Virtual Console Paper Mario review, but will take another look with fresh eyes.
Wii U eShop DLC
Star Wars Pinball (Zen Studios) - The following tables are available as DLC:
Heroes Within ($9.99) - Includes four tables: Han Solo, Star Wars Pinball: Droids, Star Wars Pinball: Episode IV A New Hope, and a table dedicated to the Masters of the Force.
Star Wars Rebels ($2.99) - Contains a single table.
Wii U eShop Temporary Discounts

TNT Racers - Nitro Machines Edition (Keen Games, $4.99 until 14th May, normally $7.99)
3DS eShop
Karous -The Beast of Re:Eden- (CIRCLE Entertainment, $6.99) - This is another import from the Japanese market, bolstering the shmup genre on Nintendo's portable. Though packed with plenty of levels and weapons that can be levelled up, this one has issues with balancing and presentation that let it down - we rated this as average in our Karous -The Beast of Re:Eden- review.
Heart Beaten (Springloaded, $2.99) - This is a peculiar action game in which you fend of romantic advances in ludicrous ways, all through snappy little mini-games. While it sounds fun in practice we found it to be rather average, delivering madcap score chasing but lacking in variety - we gave it a modest assessment in our Heart Beaten review.
My Horse 3D - Best Friends (Gamers Digital, $4.99) - If you like animal and pet sims, the 3DS eShop is there for you. This latest arrival allows you to "choose your dream horse" from a variety of breeds and kit it out, care for its every need and enter show jumping competitions. We'll see whether this is a yay or 'neigh' in our upcoming review.

Just Paper Mario cause everything else is just terrible.
Another nothing to buy on 3DS week. This happens way too often.
p&d demo for me
yay Paper Mario
Yup, just porting Paper Mario over from my Wii menu. Another blah week. Maybe now that they've put out all the N64 games they promised we can get Zero Mission next week? (And yes, I will complain about this every Thursday until it's finally released here.)
Does the Star Wars pinball DLC indicate that the Iron & Steel pack is about a year out?
And where is Starwhal???
Well look at that, Star Wars is actually listed this time. Can't wait!
@holygeez03 I seen on the Zen forums that the Iron and Steel pack is close to being announced.

I still don't understand exactly how Amiibo tap is going to work... but I guess I will just find out since it's free...
Nothing but CRAP! I guess Nintendo no longer wants or needs my money.
I already have Paper Mario on my 64 and Wii, I don't need it for my Wii U also.
Gimme dat Paper Mario
Paper Mario, the rest is terrible. now that we have all the N64 titles... can get get either Golden Sun 2, Metroid, DK Returns, Pandora's Tower or Kirby next week?
Puzzles and dragons super mario bros demo, amiibo tap (don't have any amiibo's but plan to soon), and I might play Paper Mario on the original n64 now that you got me thinking about the game lol
@Spoony_Tech
That would be great... I have the bulk of Zen's tables on PS3, including all of the Star Wars Tables... but Iron & Steel seems like a good two-pack to get on WiiU so I can play on the gamepad.
That Amiibo Tap sounds like more of a hassle than anything else. Wow, I get to play a chunk of a game in three minute intervals. Be still my beating heart. Free software to use Amiibos is a good idea, and this is almost a step in the right direction, but still just no. This not only doesn't sound fun, it sounds frustrating.
The number of new games for both of these systems is really in decline.
Would it kill Nintendo to give the 3DS some Virtual Console love? We have not gotten a single VC game since the Donkey Kong Land games.
Come on Nintendo, stop being jerks when it comes to the 3DS virtual console. At least give us some more NES or Game Boy games. Why don't you guys start with Pokemon Red/Blue or Pokemon Gold/Silver? You know, give 3DS owners something cool as an apology for leaving our Virtual Console to rot.
Ugh... Guess nothing for me this week......
P&D demo, MH4U theme and maybe AOB ( price?)
Paper Mario for me.
The Puzzle and Dragons demo and Amiibo Tap.
So if I use an amiibo for each game, do I need 30 different amiibo to see all the content? That is just dumb.
Yaaaay P&D demo!!!
@sinalefa - that would be stupid. Thankfully that's not what they're doing. You assign up to 10 demoes to an amiibo, so you need at least 3 amiibos to view them all.
Come to Europe Paper Mario!
@holygeez03 scan an Amiibo in and you play a Virtual Console demo. More or less get to try out 30 VC games for free if you have a good amount of Amiibo (Though I'd imagine most Amiibo mad collectors also have all these games in some shape or form....)
@Quorthon I will upgrade Paper Mario and might actually play it now that I can use the gamepad instead of being tied to the TV and the Wiimote-Pro controller mess of the Wii. I still don't understand why Nintendo hasn't just applied the technology used to allow eshop Wii games to use the Gamepad and menu. I would drop a lot of money on certain games on the Wii eshop in a heartbeat then, and it would solve their Virtual Console woes.
I will probably download the Amiibo Tap but expect very little from it. Mostly I just want an excuse past a MK8 costume for my MP8 Luigi amiibo's existence (other than I like Luigi on my desk). I still think they could have done better than an adver-gaming app to justify wider Amiibo use.
Figured it that this week was going to be bad since we had a great week last week.
I would be way more excited for Paper Mario if it was on 3DS.
Paper Mario: Sticker Star not only was a welcome throwback to Paper Mario (especially coming after Super Paper Mario) with the extra sticker mechanic being awesome, it looked REALLY good in 3D. I bet Paper Mario would have looked just as good in 3D.
Amibo tap would be a better concept if was a collection of actual mini games. Odds are about 100% that I have all of the games the demos are coming from.
Amiibo Tap and the Puzzles & Dragons demo for me.
Oh Paper Mario and the Star Wars Tables. Hopefully Kirby or Sin and Punishment 2 next week as I got neither for the Wii.
Omfg enough "My [insert animal here]" games!
And my 3DS eShop wallet is safe for another week.
Paper Mario for me!
Pretty sure the Mighty Switch Force 3DS theme comes out today too. So that's all I'm getting. I'll also try out amiibo tap.
Sure hope things change with the next system.I wonder if nintendo will expect us to re-buy all Virtual Console games at the pace of one game a week all over again? Between this, and NOA saying they may not be able to repair my "new" 3ds, I'm beginning to care less and less.
Puzzle & Dragons demo, amiibo tap app., & Paper Mario for me this week.
With all the amiibo I collect, amiibo Tap is a no brainer. I always wondered about Adventure Bar Story so the demo would also be good for me.
Still waiting for the dev to patch Demon King Box...it was promised a year ago....sigh.
@CanisWolfred @sinalefa -10 games per amiibo? That sounded very knowledgeable, was that written about somewhere or is that from hands on knowledge of the game already being released someplace else?
I don't think I have any interest in any of the 30 games that have demos on offer, but I am going to DL it anyway b/c I want to see how the thing works. I'm curios if the selection process is set up to be a fun game of chance like the eShop start screen or if thing sjust pop up boringly like in Hyrule Warriors.
Plus, seeing as how we only have 2 amiibo anyway I'm curios to see how much we can get. Is it once a day like HW or can you just keep tapping - tap tap tap - until you reach that 10 limit?
So basically I want to see if its set up to be fun or just for the dmeos. Pokemon Rumble World has a cute quirky little hub scene that I like, Pokemon Shuffle is just a screen. Also curious if this is a database for amiibo collections. We only have 2 but for people w/ a dozen or more a database would be nice. Just something simple like the screen were you pick your MK8 racers.
@SetupDisk Don't forget that NA don't even have all of Europe's original 3 Wii games from January (DKC Returns is missing).
Overall solid week. I'll give that pnd demo a try. I'll be upgrading my paper Mario club N reward..I'll also probably buy art of. Balance depending on the price..I got 20$ to spend,let's go!
@Angelic_Lapras_King
Yeah, I get that... but there are mentions of a game being "assigned" to an Amiibo... so if I scan my Toad Amiibo, get the "demo" for Super Mario Bros 3 (I have the full game)... I am stuck with that demo on my Toad Amiibo? Or each time I scan him I get a demo from a different game?
At this point, the four Amiibo I purchased have provided me with NO value other than being cute figurines... Amiibo mode on MP10 is nothing more than a more boring/tedious way to play the same minigames. MK8 Mii costumes... no interest. Oh, I guess Toad will unlock the "hide & seek" mode in Captain Toad, but that won't last long...
Amiibo tap, that puzzle demo, and maybe even Paper Mario even though I own the cart. The ease of playing it on the same system as all my newer games on my big TV, in the living room, on the gsmepad if needed, and added miiverse almost makes it worth 10 bucks again. I already did this with DK64 though, and I'm still playing through it. In other news, where is the 3DS VC??
No interest at all in amiibo Tap. I already own every single full version of the mini games, and I have just one amiibo (Link) and no interest in getting any more. I guess amiibo Tap is aimed at Wii U owners who have never played any Virtual Console or original NES / Super NES titles?
@rjejr It's not 10 games, but up to 10 "scenes" from a single game. So if you get Super Mario World, you will be able to pay the stage where you first get Yoshi, or tap and play the first castle, or tap and play a ghost level, or tap and play and underwater level, or tap and play auto-moving level. But all the three minute scenes will come from the same title and it will be permanently tied to the amiibo used. As per the Nintendo Direct.
Puzzle and Dragons demo and the Monster Hunter theme for me this week. Any Monster Hunter theme is pretty much instabuy for me,
Amiibo tap sounds lame. Not enough reason to use my two amiibo, certainly not a reason to buy any more.
It looks like i will just be picking up the P & D demo and amiibo tap. Kinda enjoy slow weeks like this so I can actually catch up with some of my backlog.
Side note: I know im late with this but can the mewtwo club nintendo dlc code be shared? I have a spare one and I dont want it to go to waist.
Waiting for them to update the shop with that Puzzle and Dragons demo!
Amiibo Tap feels like yet another hastily-assembled placeholder while we wait for "the real thing" that will probably never come.
Does anyone know if the N64 titles get the same "upgrade" discount as the SNES titles got?
@hypercoyote Yes. $2 to upgrade.
Meh. Don't care about Amiibo Tap. Will get the P&D demo. Also, here's a friendly reminder that today is the last day to get your elite status reward from Club Nintendo in North America.
P& D demo and maybe SMT IV when it is discounted since I lost my physical copy
@holygeez03 You get the same game with the same Amiibo yes, but you get a different scene from that game each time. Like say you get World 1-1 the first time then the next you get 4-1. There's like 9-10 different scenes for each game.
Hello, NOA, Zero Mission? Any time soon? Seriously.
I'm getting both 3DS demos, amiibo tap and maybe I'll grab Paper Mario at a discounted price.
@IceClimbers Thx for the info. I probably should've searched for that, it's probably been answered 2000 times already on here lol
@Darknyht Oh, I didn't realize there was more than one scene per game. My bad.
Now I have one more question: where's the mech blasting?
Amiibo Tap and the Puzzle + Dragons demo for me. I'll get Paper Mario as soon as I have some cash.
Where's PAL paper mario in UK this week!!!??????
Wow. Another lame week. Wtf happened to the 3DS VC?
Amiibo Tap would be awesome if it was a rotating set of timed Virtual Console "rentals" or something like that... kind of like a Nintendo version of the PS Plus system where you get to play certain games for free, but eventually they go away unless you purchase them outright... Using an Amiibo to get a demo of a VC game... very weak... demos like that should be free anyway to encourage buying the full game.
I'll try Paper Mario
Humm Shin Megami Tensei 4 discounted to 15 bucks that is tempting with as much I've heard of how good it is. Granted I still need to work on my Xenoblades chronicles 3d lol
P&D Demo for me.
I guess the 3DS Virtual Console is dead.
Paper Mario for me. Which'll probably be the last N64 game we see for a while.
Shin Megami Tensei IV is an AMAZING game. Having it discounted to $15 is incredible. I'd download that in a heartbeat if I didn't already have the game.
@Captain_Gonru - Pokemon Rumble World turned out to be more of a game than I thought - I'm a sucker for hub areas. Much more of a game than Pokemon Rumble U which was barely a tech demo, and $18 at that.
So I thought maybe Nitneod would be doing this up right.
If it is that limited then we'll get a full amiibo game for Christmas. amiibo Music where each amiibo unlocks and plays a different instrument
That Amiibo tap thing for me.
Unlike some people I don't have unlimtied funds to buy whatever I want even if the week is amazingly good.
@Savino, Nintendo: we didn't need your money any way. goes back to playing MK8
I would've loved to see another Wii game. I like the idea behind amiibo tap. Many younger amiibo owners who didn't grow up with the classics like we did will have a way to try Metroid, etc. without bugging their parents for more money. Personally it'll be a good boredom killer. Just tap a character and I see what I get to play for a few minutes. I have so many games that I often don't even know what I'm in the mood for. Also its free, and many of us fans have an amiibo for a real game anyway. So no complaints. I'd like to have the MH4U themes that downloaders got for free. I have the ltd. ed. 3DSXL, and that caused me to be unable to get the free themes. Just like my platinum reward of Ult. NES Remix cheated me out of my theme. So no themes this week. Paper Mario will be moved to Wii U from Wii for the heck of it. I never liked it as much as SMRPG. I still have 200cc to perfect, more ranking up and things to make on MH4U, still gotta replay more Xenoblade, still gotta try Majora's Mask 3D, still gotta beat Fantasy Life, still gotta play Dragon Warrior Monsters, Final Fantasy Legend 3, and both Mega Man Legends games I found complete at a flea market, still gotta play Resident Evil Revelations 2 and a bunch of other great PS3 games I got over last year and haven't played, oh yes the list goes on. I don't care if its a bad week.
Nothing really interesting this week. Paper Mario's not exactly appealing right now since I already have the cartridge but have no access to the sequels.
@outburst @DESS-M-8 The EU Direct confirmed that Paper Mario and Yoshi's Island DS are coming in May.
@CanisWolfred @Captain_Gonru That is why I've been really confused why everyone has been so quick to defend it. We are basically talking about an Advergame except that instead of getting a game you get a random demo of a 20 year old game. Meanwhile new Wii U titles that have actual demos for them are still unavailable for download in the eShop while the competition requires demos of their downloadable titles and is giving away 24+ full games for the price of roughly 4 amiibos.
Forgive me if I am more than a little underwhelmed by their effort and feel like that effort could have been put towards doing something more productive.
If I had a Wii U, Paper Mario would be the one I get. Since I don't have one YET, I'll be finally taking the leap into Tensei IV.
What I'm really hoping for is a Mario Maker Wii U bundle in September!!! ::crossing fingers::
If anyone is still interested in Amiibo Tap. IGN posted a let's play video of the Japanese version of the game. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hM8TiYWVFnA
I'll download the P&D Demo for sure. I'll most likely check out the Amiibo Tap as well....although I have very low expectations. I may finally get a theme if the Monster Hunter one looks cool.
@Blaze8937
Yes, it can be shared.
If you are looking for someone to give it to, I'll gladly take it off your hands (Wii U or 3DS). You can e-mail it to me at [email protected].
Unless you were already planning on giving it to someone else, in which case just disregard the last two paragraphs of this reply.
For the people that only check these updates: All of next month's VC is Mega Man themed. Mega Man & Bass, the next two (actually 4) Battle Network games and Mega Man Zero 2 are going to be the releases. Chances are this means these will be the only VC releases for the entire month of May.
Are any of the Shin'en games discounted this week worth the sale price? (Specifically the 3DS games) I have Art of Balance already, but don't know much about any of the others.
@OdnetninAges Really perfect! And if you want it I will send it to you no point for it to go to waist. Rather have someone enjoy it.
Please play nice.
-Amiibo
@grumblebuzzz Zero Mission yes please
@Darknyht
There's a lot of old Wii Ware and Wii VC games I'd buy if only they were naturally incorporated into the Wii U and Wii U eShop. As it is, I just don't want to deal with the hassle, or risk having money lost on the Wii Shop from never being used.
I've noted this before, but if the 3DS can handle DSi games naturally, then the Wii U should be able to handle Wii Ware/VC games naturally. An icon on the Wii U menu, and an auto-boot into Wii Mode that auto-exists Wii Mode when I close the game. How bloody hard could that be? That could all be solved with one update to the Wii U.
Kung Fu Rabbit is a steal at that price.
Nothing for me.
The Puzzles & Dragons demo has unlimited uses. Nice.
I'll grab that 4-pack of Star Wars tables. Still need to grab BoxBoy, too.
Transferring Paper Mario, I'm tempted to get SMT:IV and Quell
I guess I will beat paper Mario again for $2.00. That sounds good. 3ds is slacking on VC, But I expected this 1 VC a week.m
Why would you not release zero mission the week the mh4u Metroid DLC arrives. But of course its ok to release MK GBA with MK8 DLC. dat logic
Yay, $13 demos! What a great use for amiibo! Best yet, you don't even get to pick your demo! $13 random demo lottery!
@khaosklub You.....I like!
F-Zero Big Blue music playing on the eShop now!
Amiibo Tap is pretty nice actually. It's like a boss-rush mode for certain games.
Where oh where have 3DS VC games gone, oh where oh where can they be, where oh where have 3DS VC games gone, their lack of making me angry...
I take it back for at least Metroid, Super Metroid Amiibo tap is awesome. Besides the first scene being the start of the game for each, the other scenes are like a boss rush mode. I just can't remember if you can beat the bosses in 3 minutes.
Had some fun playing Amiibo tap earlier, I know it's a lucky tip style game but does anyone know what Amiibo's unlock the games?
Played Kirby, Super Mario World, Super Metroid and Zelda a link to the past. I recieved a couple Amiibo's for my Birthday so I will see later what games they unlock!
I guess I'll get Star Wars pinball- even tho my brother has it on his Xbox. I haven't played those tables much and wouldn't mind having them on Wii U.
@Desrever
Nano Assault is short, but pretty awesome while it lasts. I highly recommend that one. I bought the original Nano Assault in its physical form at launch and found it extremely enjoyable.
Nothing for me this week, pre-ordering Splatoon, tomorrow.
@ThomasBW84
Maybe remind people that today is the last day to use coins for purchase in NA for Club Nintendo. I actually got through a few minutes ago.
Puzzle and Dragons demo for me. I do love me a good puzzle game. If it's anything close to as compelling as Puzzle Quest, I'll be happy. I put a TON of hours into that.
If I use Toad and Wario's Woods pops up, I'll be impressed.
@firstnesfan @grumblebuzzz If you guys want it THAT bad, download a GBA emulator on your phones and the Zero Mission Rom with it. I don't like touch screen controls, but you can't beat that price of $free.99.
3DS VC got left behind somewhere
@Quorthon I agree. I would even be tempted to buy Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as King again (including most of the DLC). I enjoyed the mindlessness of the game along with the world it took place in.
Granted I would prefer to get a re-release of Final Fantasy Chrystal Chronicles with online integration. I think the online and gamepad would bring new life to that title as trying to find enough GBA Link cables and GBA's were difficult (along with getting four people that could properly play the game).
Anyone else gonna call out that Nintendo's Greatest Bits is basically just demos you pay fourteen bucks apiece for?
@SetupDisk I believe that's actually on 30th June, so you've got some time yet - http://club2.nintendo.com/program-notice/
Paper Mario is one of the best games of all time
@Grumblevolcano
yipeee! thanks!
When I get some points, Star Wars Pinball, & maybe Art of Balance? There's a lot on the e-Shop that I still haven't got yet.
I might buy Paper Mario again but I really hate the lag present in NES, SNES, and N64 WiiU VC ports. It really ruins the gameplay for most games and Paper Mario uses timed button presses for most moves in battle so I'm not sure yet. Really wish Nintendo would fix this and not be cheap about their emulation.
@Captain_Gonru - Sounds about right.
I'll check out the Amiibo thing. Been so focused on 3DS games lately (MH4U, Majora's Mask, and STEAM) that my Wii U has been left alone except to play Mario Kart DLC and Smash Bros. from time to time.
Also Shin Megami Tensei IV has been on sale so many times... I nearly bought it when they were bundling it with Fire Emblem: Awakening, but decided against it.
@Captain_Gonru Also, I want to throw my name behind a movement to bring back the Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles sub-series. Loved the original and My Life as a King. Never played the Wii version because reviews were so mediocre, but I did play the two DS games. They were decent, but not super captivating. I just feel like that series is always hitting on some good ideas, but never quite got all the way there. Put some real effort behind developing the concept of the original, implement a Monster Hunter-like online system, make it glorious HD, and I'll just give the developer my bank account info to take what they want.
@TwilightAngel Those Nano Assault games are great
@TwilightV which sucks if you're not into mega man! I'll bet a weeks salary that NOA will NOT release anything else alongside megaman vc games! That's too hard!!
I don't get the point of amiibo tap, but I'm downloading it. I also had to upgrade Paper Mario, never ended up beating it on VC and didn't buy the game when it was new.
HORSE GAME REVIEW TIME! YAY! - er I mean Neigh! ( I know they did that pun earlier - I've shut the stable door after the horse has bolted but never mind - the mane point is that this is 3ds game you can play on the hoof. . .
The tap thing is stupid >taps DK< >gets zelda game< ???¿¿¿
I do plan on getting Paper Mario but I'm running a bit low on eShop $$$ at the moment so I'll probably try out amiibo Tap first.
Maybe it is just me, but I went on the Nintendo 3DS eShop and Shin Megami Tensei IV is still 30 bucks... I don't see a half off deal.
Tried the Mario puzzle and dragons, just couldn't get into it. Hope it does well.
@vitalemrecords Yeah they are sucks i already bought them already.
@BlackSpy snes or gba would be nice. I know I'm bearing a dead horse, as it will never happen.
Meh unlocked 22 of the games with my amiibos its great for people who never played the originals or who want to try out some retro games aside from mach rider (pass) I've been playing these games for the past 20+ years still a neat idea
I'm just gonna get paper Mario I got it from club Nintendo on my Wii so its worth the $2 upgrade to wiiU
Nano assault EX for me. I am glad I checked today because I had decided to buy it for full price tomorrow. So far I love it! Great use of 3d and it looks fantastic for a 3ds game.
Another terrible week for 3DS, Nintendo really doesn't like making money, do they? So many great games from NES/SNES/GBA that they could be porting over but are apparently too lazy to do so.
Oh nice. A new Monster Hunter theme. Think I'll go snatch that up along with Paper Mario and Amiibo Tap.
Btw people, both SMTIV and Art of Balance HD (and the 3DS version) are incredible games. Get them while they're discounted!
Hey! Where's the Monster Hunter theme? I don't see any new themes on the theme shop?
I picked up amiibo Tap and the two demos, as all were free. Amiibo Tap came out on the perfect day, since I just got my Shulk amiibo today!
@JaxonH I feel like there should be an asterisk next to SMTIV in your post saying how the game is on sale more often than it's not
By the way nice week Nintendo! 😡😡
Idiots!!! Back to ps4!!👍
...Well...at least we got Paper Mario, so...there's tha. :/
@IceClimbers
True that, though I don't think I've ever seen it as low as $15 before
Call me when they add The Thousand Year Door to Virtual Console and then we'll talk. The first Paper Mario was alright, but its sequel is one of my favorite RPGs of all time.
So much awesome stuff this week. I voted Paper Mario, but Amiibo Tab app and the Puzzles + Dragons demo are also insta-downloads...
I also am tempted to try that "heart" game.
@Dankykong Confirmed, Zelda U will have amiibo functionality and tapping DK to the Gamepad gives Link the DK tie and switches the current music to the DK rap!
I tried the Puzzle & Dragons demo... I didn't really care for it. I think it's mostly because I'm "match-three'd" out from a few years ago when the genre was really popular, particularly on mobile. The visuals, music, and gameplay is superb, though: just not something I'll be purchasing.
@Grumblevolcano that'll do, as long as I know
Amiibo are such a missed Opportunity. They look amazing and excel far above skylanders in quality, but they have no real solid application.
They should have had game jumping functionality within compatible games. Like wreck it Ralph. nownim captain falcon, MY captain falcon in mario 3d world, etc
What a waste. 'Tap your amiibo and play a demo'....
Question: Usually what time of day (I'm in the Pacific Time Zone) would the sales/discounts go live on the eShop? For example, I'm thinking of picking up SMTIV. I checked this morning and the price was still at 29.99. My best guess is that it'll go live after 10am PST.
Update: OK, discount is live as of 12:51pm PST. I have a physical copy of the game that I've put in 60+ hours into. Want to move to digital so I can put a different game into my card slot for once since getting the game back in 2013 . I take my sweet time.
I think this week's 3DS theme being free should be highlited.
