Slow week for games and consoles in japan in seems. When was the last time switch was sub 50k and ps5 was sub 35k?

Already been using it. Glad it supports the dualsense controller too.
Now it’s just waiting for a GCN, ps2, Dreamcast and OG xbox emulator for the more recent iPhones and I don’t need to be indecisive about wanting a steamdeck anymore.

I’m going for a full nintendo published switch set and I’m only about 20 games removed from completion not counting what hasn’t released yet. Ofcourse I pre ordered it.

That being said I mainly pre ordered it out of FOMO, normally I get nintendo games used for 50%+ off.

@DanijoEX-the-Pierrot could’ve gone the Neon White way and rebalance every level for consoles/joy-cons so it becomes just as enjoyable on consoles as on pc.

One of the first games I bought on DS as a kid.
Loved it and replayed it a lot.

For those not aware, many racists and edgy kids use the whip crack emote and all banana emotes towards PoC/black skins as a “joke”.

Can’t believe fortnite/epic doesn’t let us report those people for a ban and instead has to disable the emotes.

@Anti-Matter they weren’t selling hacked games.
They where using a save file editor to create shiny Pokemon. Something that’s only illegal in japan and legal in the rest of the world.

@JohnnyMind seems like it’s different depending on store and country.
Dutch stores say it’s releasing in june and the reason I thought it got delayed to 2025 was because a sweden friend said swedish stores recently moved the date from march to January 2025.

As far as I know the official date is still TBD.

And the PAL physical was recently delayed until 2025.
That’s 3 years of delay now for the European physical release.

Picked “not interested” as There wasn’t a “I’m interested in all of them at a later date” option.

I’m surprised anniversary wii is so high. I was told the wii port is really really bad because of performance issues. Makes me wonder people rated it highly because of ps3/X360.

Anyway, it’s sad that the team isn’t the same team as it was 5 years ago anymore. Sometimes that tends to lead to an overhyped next game with a really bad launch.

Weirdly enough NSO doesn’t give you the platinum points if you already own the game.

@TheBigK while games do require installs majority of games on ps4, ps5, Xone and XSX are fully there on the physical disc and don’t require an update or patch to be played at all (despite what twitter and most pc gamers will tell you).

Pre owned switch games is how I’m actually achieving a full nintendo published switch set. Almost own all games required for that. Buying it brand new would’ve been way out of my budget.

@sanderev ah I think I mixed up the legallity of distribution vs downloading itself (which was very much legal until the EU made it illegal).

@SpaceboyScreams homebrewing my 3DS removed all my FOMO from pursuing the last physical 3DS games I wanted.
If anything I played that way ever gets a remaster on current hardware I’ll probably buy it, if not no one loses.

@sanderev @mariomaster96 @jco83 Nintendo saying it’s illegal doesn’t make it illegal, they don’t make the laws, they’re not disney.

There’s also many countries like the Netherlands where distribution and acquisition of ROMs and other software, movies or music is fully legal as long as it isn’t being sold or paywalled.

I completed Final Fantasy XVI on Ps5 last week and I’m currently replaying Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age on my Switch.

Also trying to reach level 200 in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 on Ps5/Switch/Xbox before Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth release.

Beyond that gonna play some Powerwash Simulator on XSX

Reasonable? In this day and age? Atleast 512gb!

But this is Nintendo we’re speaking of, so realistically it’s gonna be 32gb probably, 64gb at most.

Almost finished with my 100% run of Final Fantasy XVI on Ps5 and after that I want to play Evil West.

Also still playing Theatrhythm Final Bar Line on my Switch.

Not planning on playing much because I want to be done with everything when Like a Dragon 8 and subsequently Final Fantasy VII Rebirth release.

Gist of the first chapter is happy holidays and merry Christmas are equally as old and happy holidays used to be the main greeting used for most of time until it fell into obscurity the last 50 years just to be brought back in the past 20 years.

Happy holidays was created fot christmas just as much as merry Christmas was.

Beyond that I started Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel and The Darkness

They supposedly where getting samus aran alongside kratos and master chief in 2019 or 2020 or something but the deal fell through because nintendo wanted samus aran to only be buyable and usable on switch and only for switch players to be able to view the skins, other platforms seeing her as a default skin instead.

She was even datamined and referenced in a batman Fortnite comig.

Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1: Underground is starting this weekend so I’ll be playing that a lot tomorrow.
Beyond that I’m trying to 100% complete Wario Land 3 and PowerWash Simulator

I beat Mega Man: Dr. Wily’s Revenge recently which was disappointing.

Currently playing Powerwash Simulator which is amazing, Persona 5 Tactica which is quite fun and playing a lot of Fortnite OG with friends which has been a blast.

Beat Like a Dragon Gaiden a few days ago and absolutely cried at that ending. Also beat Castlevania Bloodlines and reached level 50+ in Fortnite OG

I’ve currently beaten 99 games this year and 299 unique games since 2017 so I’m doing an almost blind playthrough of Final Fantasy 7. The only things I know are the twist the internet has spoiler for the past 20 years now and everything that was brought over to 7 Remake.

I’m thoroughly enjoying Fortnite OG. Really get why people long for the old days. I started last year during Vibin myself and I don’t mind the new seasons but OG is great so far.

Nonetheless I’m excited for chapter 5 season 1 in 3 weeks.

I’ll keep my switches (launch and OLED) as I collect games and hardware anyway.
I’ll probably make the OLED my ACNH or theatrhythm only model, my base switch is already my fortnite device for when I have people over.

Beat Dead Space (2023) on my XSX yesterday and Professor Layton and the Lost Future alongside the original PL trilogy on my 3DS.

Started playing Final Fantasy VII on my Switch today which is a mostly blind playthrough beyond the Aerith twist and what I know from FF7R.
Also started Fortnite Chapter 4 Season OG on PS5 yesterday. Never played before ch3 s3 so it’s pretty neat.
And finally I started Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask on my 3DS.

Mario Kart GP1, 2 and DX representation would’ve been cool.

Feels a bit weird the article links a GameXplain video after jon cartwright worked for NintendoLife after GameXplain screwed over the old crew causing them to create good vibes gaming.

Great finisher. Some fan demanded tracks, piranha plan cove is apparently a really good tour track too.

Switch cartridge manufacturing costs and sizes should be fixed, especially if the switch 2 can run ps5 and XSX games that are 50 to 200gb.

I beat Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 1 & 2 in the past week and started playing Solar Ash.

Still chipping away at Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations and I finally started Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 after taking a break from the game.

Beyond those I’ll probably be starting Professor Layton and the Curious Village and Super Castlevania IV.

I beat TOEM and Ace Attorney: Justice for All last week and I’m currently playing Solar Ash and Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations.

With spooky month starting tomorrow I’m gonna play spooky games all month. My plan is to beat Super Castlevania IV, Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow, House of the Dead: Overkill, Until Dawn and Luigi’s Mansion 3 amongst other games.
Very maybe I’ll try Silent Hill 2 but that game is too spooky for me.
