@rawzeku when a game release has you excited but you’re not getting it because it’s digital only or a GKC I feel like you’re purposely withholding yourself from enjoyment.

I’ve been physical only for about 8 years and GKCs last year made me realize I’ve kept myself from some amazing games and amazing deals in that timeframe. I’m glad I finally stopped restricting myself and I recommend others the same.

I’m still playing through Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties. Going for 100%.
Besides that I’m playing through all 7 games in the Capcom Belt Action Collection with an American friend. The online is infinitely better than the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection.

Beyond that I’m excited for Resident Evil Requiem on Friday.

I’m surprised there wasn’t a bigger migration from PlayStation to Switch 2 with Like a Dragon. Guess that fanbase is more PlayStation loyal than DQ and FF fans.
I, myself, have migrated however after having been on PlayStation for LaD since 2015.

Short term it’s Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave, Pragmata, Resident Evil 9, Dragon Quest 7 and Yakuza 3.

Long term will depend on what’s announced in the alleged direct next month.

Feels very tongue in cheek which isn’t uncommon for Yoko Taro. Kamiya has also loosened up on the blocking and it has basically changed from a genuine thing to a comedic bit.

@AlanaHagues I know comments are locked and I know the article mentions the “date none” option but it’s amazing you can also be ACE/ARO! That’s a step Nintendo is going beyond most other life sim games and I think it’s worth mentioning as ACE/ARO representation isn’t as good as other LGBT representation sadly.

@JumpingJackson Disney’s Magical Quest was a trilogy of Capcom games on SNES. The third game didn’t get released in the west until the GBA remakes.
The Ilusion games are different games.

@axelhander you can get that one in the Disney classic games collection. They added the Capcom versions of Aladin as DLC alongside The Jungle Book.

Hopefully they include the GB versions of all these games. And since Atari is handling this one instead of Capcom hopefully they include some non capcom games like Quack Pack and Gargoyles.

I’ve beaten this game twice on ps4 and twice on ps5. Once it hits a good sale I’ll beat it again on NS2. Preemptive 10/10 because I highly doubt it’ll be worse than my ps4 or ps5 experience.

I started Star Wars Outlaws on my Switch 2. 18 hours in so far and really enjoying it. Besides that not much else. I’m planning on starting Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty soon.

The NS2 Mario Wonder DLC seems really substantial

The dlc apparently adds

• online minigames
• true local co-op
• playable rosaline
• new easy difficulty
• new toad brigade challenges versions of existing levels
• a new story mode with new levels about the koopalings, it has new wonder effects, new powerups, and seemingly 7 new boss battles

It’s the first RE and horror game I ever played and the only RE I played until I played RE4 last year. Also the only horror game I played myself until I played Omori when it launched on Xbox (not counting Amnesia The Dark Descent and Outlast as my mom played those while I gave instructions)

Most surprising thing here is the Super Mario Party Jamboree Nintendo Switch 2 Edition not making the list.

EDIT: scratch that, the most surprising thing is MHW not breaking 1m sales as Japan adores that franchise.

100% so far for Japan and Europe. Not surprising. The NA one is just a nothing burger, and not even a stylistic one like NA MGS1 or mainline FF.

After beating Quantum Break and Pokemon Legends Z-A this week it’s back to The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask. I’ve also been playing through Mega Man X and decided to finally give Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 1 a go after not playing Fortnite for a month now.

Besides those I’m debating on finally starting Metal Gear Solid 2.

@UltimateOtaku91 there is an “endgoal” and “postgame” technically. Getting your island to 3 stars sets up a whole event that ends with a credit sequence and triggers more things past that point.

Weird that atari is publishing the rerelease when capcom did the original release 9 years ago.

2 being a GKC after 1was just announced to get a full cart is shame but atleast 2 has the excuse of being an almost 90gb game with carts only going up to 64gb.

Several US friends of mine now have no Gamestops in close proximity anymore. Some had gamestops close that have been there for decades.

@MirrorFate2 PLZA is the most fun I’ve had with a pokemon game on Switch and 3ds, and I’ve played all games and their third versions except for Red/Blue, Yellow and Crystal.

@Jack_Goetz according to leaks they’re introducing 16gb, 32gb and 128gb so both bigger and smaller
However a lot of the GKC games would’ve fit on the 64gb cart and are too big for the 32gb cart so saying the new sizes will fix the issue is very optimistic and naive 😂

I’m halfway through 100% completing Majora’s Mask on my Switch 2 and I’m halfway through Powerwash Simulator’s career mode.

Also started playing Trails of Cold Steel on my Ps5. Besides that some Fortnite like usual.

Between this, the already announced Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition, the rumoured Oblivion port and the leaked Fallout 3 remaster by the oblivion remaster devs I wonder if Bethesda will oversaturate 2026 with 4 switch 2 releases.

@Warioware dark ties is reportedly a full Gaiden game like Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii and The Man Without a Name.

Still haven’t decided wether I want this one on PS5 or NS2. I played and own literally every game on ps3/4/5 but I prefer playing on NS2. But also NS2 is a GKC. But Ps5 will likely hit a sale faster in case I double dip.

@wollywoo Rayman 4 (Origins) and 5 (Legends) exist already. Ubisoft just chose to return to Rayman 1’s style of gameplay instead of making 3D sequels.

Looks more like a European cartoon from the early 00s from like germany, Italy or the Netherlands than anything disney ever made.

@WaveBoy the Ps4 and Switch versions of RE4 are a remaster of the Ps2 version. It does not support gyro.
5 and 6 are remasters of the ps3 versions, those support gyro because of Ps3’s sixaxis support.

Sad GotG is a cloud version because it’s genuinely amazing with such a tear jerker story.

@mlt RE4 on Switch doesn’t have motion controls sadly.
