@Liam_Doolan Expeditions isn’t a new mode, it’s the new name for what’s currently called Odyssey.
The main lego survival mode gets renamed whenever a huge content update hits.

The community apparently has found 394 switches and 185 medallions so far and they’re not sure if that’s everything yet.

I beat Soul Calibur II on NSO and put 22 hours into Mario Kart World.
I’m currently playing Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition and replaying Yakuza 0.

No upgrade paths for Sega games is the worst offender. Absolutely no excuse when games like No Man’s Sky and Hogwarts Legacy that completely overhaul the game have upgrades but PPT2 and SxSG which are just the same game again with minor additions in PPT2’s case ask the full €50.

@Vyacheslav333 plenty of Japanese games get written with the English dub in mind first.
Both Final Fantasy 16 and Dragon Quest 11 where written and made for English. Hell DQ11 didn’t even have a Japanese dub when it originally launched in Japan, the Japanese dub wasn’t added till the Switch 1 rerelease which was well after the English dub got made.

@mikegamer while I agree that LaD should always be experienced in Japanese I don’t think it “objectively” ruins it, people can prefer dubs over subs and are well in their right to do so.

Also “part of the problem”? What problem? Almost every Japanese game these days has the option to be played in Japanese alongside the dubs. It’s not like the demand for dubs is causing a removal of the Japanese original.

Besides that I want to test some Switch 1 games like Super Mario Odyssey and Link’s Awakening.

I don’t like that this mission isn’t a permanent addition as I’m not getting this game for a while but I’d love to experience it when I do eventually get it.

According to Sega the Like a Dragon franchise was underground and mature and they saw the Switch as a childish mass appeal console which didn’t fit LaD.
LaD 0 to 5 are all ps3 games (the west didn’t get 0 and 1 on ps3, Japan did). It had nothing to do with power.

It’s been a great 8 years, 3 months and 2 days!
I’m finishing with a bang and replaying Super Mario Odyssey at the moment.

Procedural generation requires a lot of coding and actual manpower to work. One of the biggest games ever, Minecraft, is fully procedurally generated and that game is 16 years old.

@jimnorman the recent Arc System Works datamine also contained references to a Hotel Dusk and Last Window remake and they also did the Another Code remake and they’re made up of former Cinq staff.

I was on the fence debating on buying RDR2 on ps4 for €10 but I’ll gladly pay €50+ to play it on NS2!

I read this leaker tends to fill in gaps of information with personal assumptions and is very unreliable.

I’m playing in Japanese anyway, Yakuza is one of the few games I can’t stand in English but that might be because I played majority of games before English was even an option.

Got 1000GS in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered on the XSX. Playing through Asura’s Wrath and its DLC on Ps3 atm.
Almost done so I’ll play God of War on Ps3 after.
Switch is benched atm till the Switch 2 releases.

I already rarely buy games day one, usually only reserve that for FF, Like a Dragon and Pokemon.
Most of my gaming purchases are on sale or second hand at fleamarkets and CEX.

First thing I did yesterday was check if I could still play everything as I use 5 accounts (my main Europe one, my old US one, my current US one, my JP one and my mom’s account.)
Luckily I still can.

Shame they disabled this feature. YouTubers where acting like it was an unintended exploit despite Nintendo’s official website having a guide on how this very much intended feature worked (page was deleted yesterday)

Surprised I use it daily. The MKW screenshots and NSO GCN clips are just too fun.

Definitely double dipping this if it comes to Switch 2.
Also replaying We Love Katamari for the 3rd time. Besides that it’s King’s Day in The Netherlands so lots of fleamarkets.

Inflation doesn’t exist in a bubble, rising cost of living and stagnating wages play an equal part in this argument.

Adjusting for inflation is dumb when incomes don’t rise with inflation and spending power has decreased since the NES days.

Got an e-mail saying I’d get an invite immediately after the Direct and got the pre order e-mail yesterday.
Managed to pre order a Switch 2 MKW bundle, a carrying case, the travel case, a GCN controller and an SD cart.

Also managed to get a pre order at a local store but cancelled that one.

Mario Kart World, Yakuza 0 and Cyberpunk for me at launch.
Then Donkey Kong and Tony Hawk in July.
And for the remainder of the year Hyrule Warriors, Pokemon and Hollow Knight Silksong.
