@gcunit No need to unseal. The boxes are transparent so it's very easy to see if theres a card inside by looking through the bottom end of the box.

Switch batteries are easier to replace than almost any other similar device. It's one of the most easily repaired devices (but still room for improvement). I don't think Nintendo will struggle with this requirement if they follow a similar design philosophy in future.

He must have a very low opinion of Call of Duty if he thinks it wouldn't sell to any of 120m Switch owners.

@Banjo- Yes, but if it's possible to do PS5 -> wifi -> screen then it's also possible to do PS5 > wifi > internet > wifi > screen. It's just a question of whether they've set it up to work like that.

It's an 18 rated game designed to look like a kids game, I'd say its perfectly reasonable for Nintendo to be cautious.

@Scapetti It's actually correct since the Switch only shows play time in 5 hour increments, it's impossible to have, say, 62 hours.

I can see them doing another 2D Zelda alongside the now open-world main line games.

It's actually a clever question. Pikmin can be any and all of those options, so I guess they want to know what to emphasise in the trailers.

Terry Pratchett's "Only You Can Save Mankind" is well worth reading (and the sequels, though they aren't technically video game based). It's sold as a children's book, but it's Pratchett so he is as insightful as in any of his adult books.

Most I've ever paid for a Switch game is £42.95. If Zelda is a little over that I'll bite, and I doubt it will be over £50 if you shop around.

Nice idea, but they are very pricey, and I'd be reluctant to spend £30 when so many other parts of the joy cons are fragile too.

I'm still holding out some hope that given Lego already has a relationship with Nintendo they have the Zelda license and are working on their own set (i.e. not one based on Ideas submissions)

This is great. Now they just need to make it an option outside of splatfests too.

Seems like everything that's actually new is gated off. X battles unavailable for most players, Tri-color battles are super rare, and Big Run is another time limited splatfest style mode...

The reduced power consumption is nice, but really 12w was already incredibly low. My TV uses something like 100w, so that 6w reduction is largely irrelevant.

This either means they won't be making any Zelda sets, or it means they have their own in the pipeline.

It's more confusing when the chart says October - September.

Is that a good number? It's less than 1 person per console, and with lots of families sharing a console that means a lot of abandoned units.

The PS5 price increase is unprecedented. It's definitely not something Nintendo should be copying.

Arguably they should be looking at introducing Switch 2 without a price increase.

Why are people bothered if it's v15? It's just a number, they could name it version 3090 if they wanted to.
