Slighty disappointed they are reducing tricolour battles. It might be unbalanced but it's a new mode that's only available for half of splatfest, so reducing it even more seems a shame.

It has to be crying tears, to match up with "breath" of the wild, both bodily functions.

@wuntyme8 I'm not sure what you're after specifically but the Switch OS already allows you to re-map every button and save multiple configurations.

@rjejr You don't need to stick with splattershot. You can buy any 3 weapons with the tickets you get for transferring splatoon 2 save data - no need to reach the right level.

In context, it sold 4.95m to a user base of just 13.5m. 6th best-selling game on Wii U. That's extremely impressive.

@Rykdrew I recently sold Splatoon 2 for about £25. Five year old Splatoon games definitely have value.

@RushDawg I disagree. They've only announced that there will be paid DLC, not what it is. It's good that they are honest up front that there will be more to (optionally) pay for. Simply waiting a few months to announce it doesn't make it any better or worse value.

If this is well made I could imagine spending more time playing this than real turf war. I just hope there are no microtransactions.

Looks like a dev back door so they could easily try out all the characters for testing. Pretty amazing if this stayed undiscovered for so long.

@mariomaster96 Nintendo will have funded them to make an exclusive, so you might find there's actually less risk in this than in something cheaper to make that might still not sell well.

@EarthboundBenjy It ignores games you haven't played in the last 12 months. If you play BotW for a few minutes it will suddenly remember all your hundreds of hours.

That's a lot of money for a Raspberry Pi in a big box. I thought the point of this kind of thing was to have a real original arcade machine in your living room, not an oversized NES mini.

I've already sold Splatoon 2 in preparation for Splatoon 3, so I'm not even that bothered if it is more of the same.

IIRC the DS only support WEP security and is therefore now always insecure, which makes the advice to switch to another device a bit dubious.

Sunshine being 20 years old makes me feel very old, but then I realised it wasn't released in Europe until October so I can continue feeling young for a few more months!

@BabyYoda71 It really doesn't. There are a few bits of Galaxy where you move around on small brown planets, but even those look nothing like this.

@Diogmites Yes, kind of, but Kate specifically mentions "The Cave of Time" which is the first book in the actual CYOA series. The Fighting Fantasy series was somewhat different.

My inner pedant would like to point out that Sorcery! is part of the Fighting Fantasy series, "Choose Your Own Adventure" was an entirely different book series.

If you have a big collection then I guess you'll enjoy putting them into groups, but I doubt it will have much effect on your "magpie" instincts

I know people have been asking for folders for years but personally I don't see any use for them. If a game has dropped off the Home screen then it's unlikely I was that interested in playing it anyway, and if I do want to find an old game it doesn't take long to scroll through the All Software screen. So, no groups for me.
