@123akis id say yes! dual destinies is like a soft reboot more digestible for newcomers. you can get by without previous AA knowledge, tho i do recommend still playing the past games so returning characters and references have more impact. plus theyre still great games haha

this is admittedly one of the easier and weaker entries in the series but i still have a soft spot for it. it was the first entry i got to follow the news and excitement for. the pursuit theme is great idc what anyone says

ive enjoyed my time with the game but i do wish it came with more surprises. its massive popularity had me hoping for more sports and side modes, shame those datamines for dodgeball and jogging never led anywhere

@sixrings them doing a great job in the last dlc IS the one reason to someone takes a chance on the next, but im speaking as someone who's already a core fan. completely fair to hold off and wait on reviews if youre not that invested to begin with

@sixrings they knocked octo expansion out of the park so unless they suddenly drop the ball their 2nd expansion attempt ill hold out hope they know what their doing lol

its such a bizarre yet welcoming addition for both nostalgia, and preserving such an iconic location that not many people got to experience

for me this being paid isnt that big a deal to me when 2's dlc was priced similar and only had the new story, so i dont think this inkopolis skin inflated that price that much

right on top with south park, both having games with an art style and animation practically identical to their show

3d mario has always had a premium standard, apart of them usually only have 1 per console the production keeps getting higher. ive just come to expect mario to take all the time it needs

full bias for the ACNH switch, love the pastel colors and love the franchise. tho i didnt get it cause upgrading to an oled model was the smarter move

great game to consider at that price. polished game with really involved battles, its like if a pokemon game was allowed to be developed for 5 years

discovering i was colorblind myself made me so happy to see color toggles becoming more common as time went on. puyo puyo was the only game where i really struggled to play but it never hampered my enjoyment of a game.

drawing on the other hand can be a struggle lol, i gotta rely on color wheels to know what certain colors are, and just trust that the colors i pick look good

honestly yeah, why DID tenta missiles come back when a seemingly healthier version of the special was otw? they couldve just had this special at launch instead

even kraken had the courtesy of being tweaked returning for 3, while tenta stayed its same unbalanced self

this sounds lovely, as amazing as NH is there was a sense of magic lost from the earlier games. transitioning from moving in to a preexisting community, to more decorating-focused gameplay. still great but diff enough to have reasons to replay NL

at least their honest about how bad their service is lol. whats so hard about committing to a rom upload schedule, they dont even want to tell us when they'll drip feed anymore

being able to relive Inkopolis Plaza is amazing, its such bizarre fan service but i love it

Im getting Team Order vibes from Side order too, so cool they reused an idea from the losing team. and taking place in Inkopolis Square, the devs are absolutely nailing the DLC and fan service

might be worth the extra charge? it still under the same engine so i can only imagine its even MORE content-packed than BOTW. we're already use to paying +$20 dlc for $60 games, if this extra $10 goes into a more meaty game it could be fine

the botw series proved itself worthy of the $70 price range for me personally, but should still be the exception and not the standard for nintendos case. not all their games are made equal, botw and odyssey are whole diff beasts

happy they can expand this concept to other consoles. granted MK Live pushed its concept as hard as it could so i dont think this follow up will do anything new to interest me, but im glad the PS market can have their own version of it

on another marriage, i really like henry and oliva. total opposite bonding to nurse a dog back to health, olivia wanting him to express his true emotions, and henry taking "frowning classes" just to spend time with her. henry later saying she taught him what a real smile was, good stuff from my fav characters

this franchise is such an enigma, i feel like it pops in and out of the news just to say how somethings in development and then disappears for a couple years again

Sadly great gameplay wasn't enough to make this game soar, which get to an extent. FE has lately built the series on its characters and stories. To have such an engaging aspect toned down mustve been a turn off, especially to people who already had their fill on 3H

a new game would be great, making use of the newer gens and possibly modernizing the gameplay the same way main pokemon has

this game absolutely dropped the ball. its not even inherently bad gameplay, but it didnt evolve the series big enough to warrant so many cuts in content. it just expected online to keep it alive

its not like switch sports that have quick games that are easy to jump into. it tried to market itself competitively with none of the incentive to keep playing, or content to back it up

such a magical title that started off the switch legacy. also surprised it never got a sequel outside the free dlc

i desperately want them to keep the hybrid model regardless if its a new switch or diff console. its such a convenience to play wherever and not have it locked to a tv set up. hope the concept sticks around the same way motion controls have

nintendo must be adamant since most loz games are more insistent on a "grounded" timeline and story. they'd have to completely ditch canon if they make an artsy craft world with mechanics and aesthetics to go with it

as for PM im fine with the paper-focused mechanics and aesthetics. we have better stories now which is good, they just gotta ditch the gimmicky battles that are still disposable. it brings down an otherwise great game like TOK

with the loud bustle of a restaurant in a theme park id imagine most people will tune it out, unless theyre like right in front of the screen or something

tho i do appreciate the attempt to make him sound less grating, he sounds pretty accurate to the games and only gets scratchy pronouncing certain letters

on a related note i remember beating magikarp jump 100% on my phone without spending any money, i have no idea why i let that be part of my college life. the game has its own elite 4

i could just be used to his smash design but dedede always look weird in kirby games to me, having his design slightly tweaked each time too

idk how effective this game is at pfps of blank slate avatars but sure. also they should add more sports ect ect

he mentioned having +6000 ebooks and says to imagine storing those physically, that says it all right there to its convenience. and must be incredibly important for a busy bee like sakurai.

a major downside to digital for me is how expensive and fast storage gets filled, and thats the last thing a celebrity has to worry about

with how successful this game seems to be in the backlight the only thing i can hope for it now is to release on other hardware. maybe being an exclusive ftp on switch is what helps its popularity, but if its gonna continue to grow i think crossplay could do it some good

rhythm heaven is a far closer comparison to the gameplay, but this game is incredibly promising. the gameplay is simple enough to nail and with adorably polished visuals i cant wait for it to release

wild change, but for the best. ash obtained his +20 year long dream. unless they give him a new dream to go after, it might as well be with a new character

now its conkers time to shine on getting random merchandise and anything other than a new game. hopefully this at least leads to a rerelease in the future

@SilverM i think what this game needed was evolution. i dont think it does anything better from previous games to warrant less characters, items, stage gimmicks, ect.

even the hyper shots seem tacked on, for a game thats trying to have a competitive edge its weird to have your super move be an item you chase on stage like a smash ball

3 updates in 6 months is abysmal, i think even nintendo realizes this game is doing poor. worst of all this game was still doomed even if this stuff was available at launch

the issue wasnt the lack of characters, gear, or course reskins. this game honest to god needed more modes than just grand prix, quickplay, and online quickplay

weird, i remember them patching a maka wuhu exploit back when the game was still new. i wonder if this update is patching the same one lol

far too late and too little content. worst case on content drought they have on a game yet

I will say golf is much harder than I remember it in wii sports, I don't remember caring this much about swing strength and angle as a kid lol

I have my gripes with the content and dlc approach but I do enjoy the game, cant overstate how intuitive and convenient it is to golf and bowl all at once with everyone

really looking forward to the update. even the lil things like knowing what page you are in the equip menu, and having Sheldon re-explain weapons again. strange they were gone in the first place

why this mode took 7 months to come out ill never understand, really dashes my hope theyre essentially done with this game now

wish we could expand lockers even bigger or save diff sets. i dont wanna mess with my current set up, especially since you cant undo any drastic changes
