Mario Strikers: Battle League made its debut on the Nintendo Switch last June and since then it's received a bunch of free updates - comprised of new characters, levels and even some new features.

Following the release of Version 1.3.0 last month, Nintendo and Next Level Games have now rolled out the next patch. This is a much smaller one - fixing a minor but pesky issue with Rainbow ? Blocks. Here's the full rundown, courtesy of the official support page:

Ver. 1.3.1 (Released January 24, 2023)

Issue Fixed

Fixed an issue in which Rainbow-colored ? Blocks would not appear during Strikers Club Season Matches.

Last month's update added in two new playable characters "Bowser Jr." and "Birdo", along with a new stadium and gear set. You can see the full details in our previous post:

In somewhat related news, Nintendo Switch Sports has also received a small update today: "Play Globally - Data for available items was added." This also bumps this game up to Version 1.3.1 and follows on from the previous Golf update late last year.
