Re: Does Nintendo Have A Handheld Future Beyond The Switch? Yes, Say The Experts

bluemage1989

I dont see them going back to dedicated handhelds and consoles. They are still able to experiment and implement new ideas without leaving the hybrid model behind, just look at Labo and Ring Fit as two example of affordable hardware that allowed them to experiment without having to build an entire system around a gimmick. The hybrid approach provides a solid foundation for Nintendo to then build off of when they want to try out some of their more wacky ideas and once interest has lessened they can move on to the next project without having to support the previous work for an entire generation.

Re: Nintendo Reportedly Arguing Switch Joy-Con Drift "Isn't A Real Problem"

I still can't believe people have so much time on their hands they can sue Nintendo. Perhaps if they put that time in to enjoying their hobbies and working they would be able to afford a new set of joycons instead of refund begging like tramps on the street. Unless of course there hobbies and jobs include suing people in which case i don't know what to say.

Re: Poll: How Do You Feel About 'Limited-Time' Games From Nintendo?

bluemage1989

I dont see the issue. People who havent heard of it yet have months to do so, it's an anniversary title made to mark the occasion, the game are all playable on other systems. People seem to confuse limited run with limited time, Nintendo arent going to under produce anything that could make them a stack of money. Besides the limited time run on the Wii All Stars got another run at half the price years later no reason Nintendo might not do the same here.

Wow the complainers desperate for a TTYD follow up are still complaining because Nintendo wont give them exactly what they want and they want it now otherwise they are going to have a massive tantrum in every comment section you can find. You know what we get it you prefer the old game, for what it's worth I loved TTYD as well, but it's been twenty years it's time to move on. TOK was an excellent game and there are so many people out there enjoying it.

Seeing the reactions of people to a very well written article on why some people might not want to play the way they do makes me glad the elitists are a minority in gaming. Glad blokes like Scully can just enjoy playing the game the way they want while the critics are busy w%nking each other in to a frenzy about how good they are. Surprised we haven't seen more 'i finished Mega Man 2 at 3 years old don't get what the big deal is thought everyone could do it' stories in the comments.

Re: Talking Point: What Do Abuse Scandals Say About The Smash Bros. Community, And Its Future?

bluemage1989

@TG16_IS_BAE of course would be a nice gesture especially as some of those accused have shared the stage with Nintendo and while they may not have known about the character of those people it would still be good to see them being proactive. I simply meant in general terms the Smash scenes implosion is no great loss to Nintendo. You see a lot of people saying they promote the games but if we are being honest id be surprised if these players have any reach beyond people who would already be buying the game anyway.

Re: Poll: Which Remastered Mario Games Would You Pick For A 'Super Mario All-Stars 2'?

bluemage1989

The GB games alongside Mario 64 and Sunshine. Seems fitting that a hybrid console would look to show the very best of Mario's handheld and console titles.

I think Galaxy 1 and 2 as well as 3D World and 3D Land are all worthy of definitive editions.

There's also an argument to be made for a complete collection of the New games as well. Maybe it's just easier to do say do everything.
