With E3 cancelled this year, every video game company is doing its own thing. Admittedly, it's not that much different for the publisher Devolver Digital. As usual, it'll be hosting its own pre-recorded and presumably violent conference. Take a look below:
As noted, it'll air next week (via Twitch) on 11th July at 12 pm PST / 3 pm EST / 8 pm BST. It promises to be filled with release date announcements, new game reveals, gameplay reveals, and more.
While Devolver hasn't revealed much else about it, there should be at least a few announcements for the Switch, so it might be worth tuning in. Will you watch this upcoming event? Leave a comment down below.

Well at least there’s one Direct!
I look forward to this. I've got quite a few of their published games...
The Messenger
Enter the Gungeon
Broforce
Downwell
Gris
Pikuniku
Ruiner, which I just started playing 20 minutes ago.
I hope to see Shadow Warrior 1 and 2 announced for Switch.
Is this Indie games Direct ?
Lets hope we see more about new content for Katana Zero. The scope seems to have grown significantly from the original plan but its been quite some time now and i would love to see the story and world expanded.
Sweet. Still hoping we get Serious Sam 1&2 HD announced for Switch.
Gimme that sludge life switch release date daddy devolver
Likely my favorite Indie company on Switch, I have half of the 26 games they have on Switch. You really can’t go wrong with their games.
@OorWullie I would own more of their games if they published physical copies. That said, yes - they've released some interesting stuff, haven't they?
EDIT: I know about the Enter the Gungeon release, but I sorely miss that physical copy of The Messenger.
Devolver has very quietly become one of my favourite game developers. Ape Out, Stories Untold, Mother Russia Bleeds, Gato Roboto... all gems in addition to their “big” titles like Hotline Miami, Katana Zero and the Messenger.
I’ll definitely be watching this event.
Still kind of hoping for a Switch port of Metal Wolf Chaos XD.
I quite like Devolver but their live action video trailers are pretty cringe, I'll probably skip the presentation but look forward to reading the announcements.
Haha time for more lore!
@OorWullie hm shadow warrior would indeed be cool. Loved the first one. The second one was okay, but kinda boring level design and enemy’s. Weapons were good though.
Devolvers presentations tend to be as quirky as they are gorey. I wonder if they'll keep the story line going for this year's.
@dewokkel I haven't played either game. Did you play the remasters from a few years ago?
How exciting more ports of 10+ year old games.
@OorWullie yeah both. 1 was a linear shooter, but a lot of fun. 2 was more open ended and a little bit like borderlands. Enemies took al lot of hits and I’m not particularly a fan of that. The way you slice through your enemies in 1 is very satisfying.
Titan Souls is the only game of theirs I've really loved. It would be nice if it got ported to Switch.
@OorWullie shadow warrior games are extremely underrated
@Erviper very much indeed. The original one would also be pretty cool. If we would also get Blood on Switch, for me the build engine trilogy is complete
@Anti-Matter Sort of. Devolver's an indie publisher. It's not a Nintendo broadcast, but there's probably multiple games coming to Switch included.
Awesome, I hope we get another blood bath
Quality Indie dev
I can't wait to see some Indies, smile, then wait for another Hat In Time Style Game.
