The stunning irony here is that the only reason the fish are in the tanks is because those members of PETA willingly caught them and gave them to Blathers in the first place

I’m surprised PETA haven’t sponsored a game where you can go around assassinating zoo keepers. Splinter Cell style creeping around and taking dudes out. There are tons of virtual fish tank videos on Youtube of actual fish in captivity but no, let’s pick on the insanely popular game. I’d be surprised if even 1 player of this game will imitate it and catch a fish and donate it to a museum.

I am sometimes not sure if Peta really cares about animals. They seemed to attack only people in the pop culture scene like video game developers, instead of focusing on real problems like poachers and the Chinese market.

And honestly if their wasn't aquariums and zoos, people would be less likely to care about animals and fish. And if they don't care, there is more harm done to wildlife as a whole over all, not to mention the lack of funding for programs that help care for and release injured animals or protect them from poachers. Get a freaking clue PETA. You give animal rights activist a bad freaking name.

And one point to make on PETAs horrible euthanasia of animals (this not a defence for peta just a point) they do taking a large percentage of unadaptable/injured and sick animal in some cases where other groups would not take them from the vet.

This in turn increase the chance of some groups/shelters Statistics being higher when taken outside of context. (Again this is not me agreeing to this just facts)

The RSPCA euthanise over 30% (albeit not in 90% range but UK is smaller) and they take a lot less sick/terminal animals

The RSPCA used to been heavily criticised in the past for example. Just not in the mainstream media because The media had no reason to make the public hate rspca

My only experience with PETA in person was very positive. It's part of the reason I'm a vegetarian now. They weren't concerned with video games in the slightest.
