There is no easy way to say this but I think we all need to be realistic here;
1, The sales are ok, but there are just so many more profitable sequels to green light before Bayo 4 like 60 of them
2, In my region the game is discounted below 30%. Not a good sign for a Nintendo published game.
2, Nintendo should look at Astro chain or star fox sequels from platinum before Bayo 4
3, Switch 2 will probably get DMC 5 port to cover this genre (much cheaper than a new game)
4, Sony and other developers have shown the need to focus on core franchises in the HD / ray tracing era. Bayo is just not core.
5, Bayo 3 was green lit pre switch success. In the dark days when Nintendo would do anything for external developers support. Even Devil’s Third got green lit
6, Bayo fans are very vocal but not huge in numbers, Nintendo knows this now.
7, Rumoured development hell for Bayo 3, the development team may just need a fresh concept.
