There are two prices of games on eshop. Normal price and discount price. The discount price is available for approximately 1/3 time of the year on and off.

The only way Switch will see these is as a cloud version.

@Giancarlothomaz Not all Companies are covered. Mainly covers national security interests which is probably not Nintendo.

If you check Nintendo’s total value of shares, it’s not far off activision-blizzard. Just think if Nintendo slips up with the switch U. A buy out in the next 5 years is definitely possible after this acquisition.

Does anyone else have an issue with motion control on a single joycon? I used my my pro controller fine but single joycon ….

@Ladasta I let my two kids play and they always had a photo finish every time.

@Kimyonaakuma Ni No kuni is a good port and plays just as you would expect a switch game to play. It’s a bargain really.

I think the steam deck has a problem with the SD cards. PC games have huge file sizes and modern games are designed for solid state drives. So surely this will mean additional costs buying the largest and fastest SD cards on the market. Even the fastest SD card will have long load times. So it will be a machine for indie and older games.

@Ultimapunch OG Zelda is top tier in my book. Played it on my 3ds, so fairly recently.

Wait Zelda 2 is fixed on NSO. The SP version starts with full magic and heath. Tri force heroes is good for what it was going for, a spin off in my opinion. Now there is no redemption for spirt Tracks . . . yawn.

I own each game at least twice. It might have been worth it if we had the Zelda game and watch on here. Going to wait for heavy discount.

Remember how much Nintendo charged for a single n64 game on Wii u. £8.99. With access to all these n64 games it’s not going to be cheap. I think there could be a lot of disappointment here.

Well my plan is wait for the service to build up a little while I clear my back log. Will get a N64 controller if I can.

Well the Monolith Soft acquisition gave Nintendo the technology to generate vast open world games not just Xenoblade but Zelda and maybe pokemon legends. Let’s hope they purchase a company with great online next.

Based on the sales numbers, there will always be copies available at reasonable prices. It’s games you don’t expect to become rare that become rare. E.g.Wii Just Dance 2020, Zumba Wii u and Gadget racers on GameCube.

Beware the PS2 3D platformer apologists over on Twitter. Apparently there were great platformers in this era...

I just got Game and watch Gallery Advance off eBay. It’s great but I ‘m going to have to get good to unlock Zelda. I also played Horace recently, there is a Robot fighting boss which played really strange. Then I played G&W boxing and saw the inspiration.

@Ventilator I said it jest but I’ve just bought a back up Wii u. It’s boot up is significantly faster than my original version which has lots of folders.

Switch Pro selling point will be to have folders. OG switch just does not have the power.

I’m getting in there before somebody else does - £40 for two ports of old games. I bet you have to download one as well.

6 Golden coins beats SMB? It’s just too easy and a poor version of World. Plus any game with “New” is too high except the excellent NSMB2.

I think they are holding back game announcements for the switch pro launch. It will be here is a new game and look how much better it is on the pro. Either that or they got nothing. You can never tell with Nintendo.

I’ve played the Wii U version and I’m going to wait for a price drop. Just wish I could buy bowsers fury on it’s own.

Thanks everyone for the advice, I’m looking trials of mana and it’s cheaper physical I get to trade it if I don’t like it. FFVII is a great price so will pick it up. The rest will go on my watch list and see if they get discounted again in the future.

I’m not much of an RPG fan but really enjoying Xenoblade. Any recommendations?
