Re: New FAST Racing Neo Footage is Set to be Revealed in Summer

@Mandalore they denied it somewhere, but I am pretty sure it will be the case.

Which would be shame as I want a couple of specialized developers in each platform for trying to get the most out of it, and there has rarely, if ever, been a system, where there would be so much to explore as Wii U. If this came to PS4, we can be sure, that they are not going to use GamePad in any way and you should just get the PS4 version.

Haaaaaaaaaaa!!!

Amazing game in many ways and the best 3D Castlevania ever made.

It will be mine! I borrowed it for awhile, but had to return it before finnishing it, and finally I can put it to an end.

@gurtifus I think in real time roguelikes too. Real time adds pressure of course, but decision making is still the same and all the choices are there. The choices are much more genre defining thing when thinking about roguelikes in my opinion.

It's up to gamedesigner to balance the game so, that there is time to make decisions, and it's also up to the player to use his/her brain. Or die.

If Nethack became a realtime game, I would still call it roguelike. I think the variety of choices makes Nethack the Nethack.

@HopeNForever aah, I didn't kwow the game was already done. Such a shame.

@unrandomsam Yeah. The flying in the original demo looked amazingly fluid, but now it seems to be toned down a notch or two [salt]because of popular demand of dual analog clunkiness[salt]

I guess that's the reason, why they include the original concept in the package.

Re: We Have Shigeru Miyamoto To Thank For The Super Stable 3D Of The New Nintendo 3DS

I am still excited of the 3d effect even in the original 3ds and I am buying the new one for the improved 3d. The 3d is expensive graphical effect, it eats half of the GPU, but in my eyes it makes games 10 times better looking.

Many call these special features gimmicks, but if I buy several consoles, I buy them for the 'personality' they have(in addition of games of course). Extreme processing power is not exciting gimmick for me(well I am planning to build quite extreme PC for virtual reality, but that is another matter). I think the processing power is in pretty good balance on the 3ds; if it was more powerful, it would have been more expensive as well(it already was too expensive at launch), and then it would not have as many good games as now. And even the Resident Evil Revelations, one of the early games on the system, is still one of the best looking mobile games in my eyes. Of course the resolution has gone beyond appreciable figures long time ago on more modern mobile devices, and shadows are very rough on the 3ds, but it still gives quite realistic impression, especially in 3d.

AAAAH!
The Aria and Dawn of Sorrow are my favorite Castlevanias! I hope that they will release the DS games next. I missed The Order of Ecclesia and I cannot wait getting it.

I also would go nuts, if they made 2D Castlevania for 3DS, that would have:
-not only the Castle, but other areas as well, in the Simon's Quest vein
-Castlevania 4 style controls
-2D gameplay but 3D graphics
-Not made by MercurySteam

Re: Live-Action Netflix Series For The Legend of Zelda is Reportedly in Development

Varoennauraa

I am afraid of this.

If they are going to do it, I hope, that they are REALLY careful with the casting. Finding good enough fit for a Link will be difficult.

And even though we are not playing Link this time, I still think, that Link should be mute.

(Edit:
Well, some one mentioned Thomas Brodie-Sangster, and suddenly I believe, that it might be possible to make it happen. I think he might even be able to talk a bit as long as he is not very talkative person, and written with great care)

Re: Video: You NEED To Play Metroid Prime Trilogy

I played them all many times back in the day, so I would have to try to resist, BUT:
Having the Wiimote controls in 1 and 2 is tempting me so much!

My trigger finger is itching like hell, and there are no other FPS(FPA in this case) coming for the Wii U. I just want more things to shoot with my Wiimote!!!
