Re: Picross S Konami Antiques Edition Features Castlevania, Contra, And More

Varoennauraa

If there ever was a game that would benefit from Switch 2 version, it would be this.

Among the dreams of RTS and point and click games that immediately arose after seeing the Switch 2’s mouse mode, was the dream of picross game with mouse controls.
——EDIT——
Nevermind. Just noticed it HAS a mouse mode! Yahoo! Sold!

At first I only saw mention of Switch 1 and saw clumsy console controller controls in the video and got a bit salty.

Re: System Shock 2.1 Update Brings Massive Improvements To Performance

Fantastic news!!! I was just thinking about giving up hope and buying it for PS5, but fortunately I waited as I want to play it with mouse!!!

I REALLY hope they could also update the System Shock 2 on Switch 2 and add mouse mode for it, and if possible, also tighten some nuts and bolts on the online co-op, as it is very unstable.

Re: Nintendo Seemingly Rules Out Virtual Console Revival, Says It Remains Focused On Offering Classics Via Switch Online

I wish they would unite the classic console apps into one ”Virtual Console” -app, and make it so you could download games and consoles inside the app instead of clurttering the Switches home screen with dozen apps that fill the storage.

It would be lovely to open the ”Virtual Console” -app just to see if there’s something new to download for some system instead of starting each app separately.

And I would madly love to see lots of new consoles and computers introduced into the classic systems catalogue!

@Earl_Grey Releasing MSX Gradius 1-3 would be a culture deed of the year! I have longed for MSX games ever since their release.

And bring Maze of Galious as well!
And Knightmare!
And Kings Valley!
And F1 Spirit!
And Penquin Adventure!!
And Metal Gear 2!!!!

And that Goemon collection that Japan got!

And oh man!!! Bring Snatcher and Policenauts!!! With mouse support!

Re: "This Just Didn't Fit Into My Gaming Lifestyle" - Hideki Kamiya Isn't Happy About Switch 2's Lack Of A D-Pad

Varoennauraa

Pffft! Pickiest nitpicking I have heard in a whole year. What does it matter if the d-pad layout buttons are not co-joined?

And Joy-Cons buttons are the best d-pads there have ever been, much higher quality than Pro Controllers d-pads. D pads oftenly make diagonal misclicking impossible to avoid. Joy-Cons buttons do exactly what you want, and the satisfying click they make make you feel when the input has been given.

My favourite way of playing point&click games would be sitting leisurely on an armchair and enjoy beverage while having a pointer or something to move the cursor on other hand.

Broken Sword on Wii was perfect point and click game for playing on a TV. It even allowed your mates to have their own cursors for being able to play together! And Broken Sword 5 on Playstation uses the touchpad on Sony’s controllers for mimickin a mouse. You could place the Dualshock beside you and use it as a mouse pad, just beautiful!

I really don’t like holding game controller and having to run around the screen in point&click game.

Re: Nintendo Apologises After Multiple Customers Receive Faulty Consoles Out Of The Box

@Burning_Spear
This is an article about defected Switches, and Drifting is another Switch related defect. Drifting is relevant issue in this topic.

And No! Nintendo is NOT fixing Joy Cons in Europe, and the support in my country declined my request to fix my 3 pairs of Joy Cons.

I cannot understand why would anyone not understand customers saltyness, when they have useless console? I have used ca. 200€ in broken controllers, that the manufacturer doesn’t fix, so I have put over 500€ into completely useless console.

And our Pro Controller drifts too, and I want that defect be aknowledged, AND compensated as well! And that is also relevant issue in discussion concerning a Switch associated defect.
