@HappyRusevDay
I have a bit similar situation, but opposite direction;
I can’t go back to last gen controls from the immediacy of gyro aiming.

Even though the graphics are more pleasing, I just can’t stand the clunky movement of thumbsticks, and my XBone X is in danger to get unused, as the Switch is my FPS console.

I really hope, that they add pointer controls.

I just played the Thimbleweed Park with my brother, and man, the thumbstick controls in a pointer game was making us lose our hair!

Always add pointer controls to a point and click game!

The touchscreen is amazing, BUT:
I love playing these games with a friend, so to me a pointer controls are even better. You could even give own cursors to each player.

Just bought Arms, what an amazing game!!!

Also, the gyro made me finally buy the Doom as well.

I would be playing the Thimbleweed Park the most, but the analog sticks SUCK at point&click games! Gyro as well as secondary pointer for another player would make it perfect.

A bit of Mummy and Owlboy makes a nice break from analog stick puxel hunting frustration.

I’m loving it so far, and after a couple of hours I think I’m not even in half way through.

For the price, the lenght feels quite appropriate.

Its beautiful experience, and I am already sure, that it will leave me longer lasting memories, than most of the even more expensive games. Quite like The Lost Winds on the Wii did.

I loved the demo in every way. I love the art style and think, that this would be the perfect way to remake FF6; it reminds the 16-bit classics, where the sprite art leaves some things for your imagination to fill, but the added 3d as well as depth of field makes it look almost real...or something, that exists.

And I especially loved the music!!!

But then they added electric guitar to the final music arrangement, and it immediately made the whole atmosphere flop for me. It’s less fitting to the fantastical theme, and brought it closer to the most mundane every day j-rpgs. One schlager metal solo, and the game is ruined to me.
