Re: Fresh Nintendo Wii U Patent Looks Like a Wii Music Game

Varoennauraa

Sequel for Wii Music has been my one of my fondest wishes since Wii U announcement.

The GamePad is made for writing music and sharing songs with friends would be eternal fun. The Wii U could also handle immensely more powerful synthesizer and effects, perhaps making the sound appealing enough even for those who couldn't give a chance for the idea of an interactive music game because of gamey sounds.

A midi keyboard controller with piano lessons and karaoke would make it a 10million hit.

I want resistive screen because it costs very little, is super accurate, can use "free" stylus, uses less battery and is easier on processor.

I think, that the screen in Wii U GamePad is almost free.

Of course a capacitive screen with an active digitizer and stylus would be better, if there was no price to worry about. I'd put that money in better processor and battery instead though. I want versatile functionality from my Nintendo consoles, and keep them affordable as well.

I love 3DS's 3D, and only want it to go away if it needs to be removed to be able to make a portable Wii U(which is rather unrealistic wish of course).

My daughters eye doctors also seriously doubted, that 3D would be harmfull for kids, and couple of them actually thought, that it might be usefull for my kids.

Changeable controller modules for keeping buttons in comfortable place, but make them removable for those special cases, that really needs second analog controller.(I still prefer CCP though. Perhaps a new CCP, that has a battery inside of it would make me even happier)

Re: Curve Studios Announces Wii U Exclusive Stealth Inc 2

@audiobrainiac
Stealth inc is more like a speed run game; rather short levels, that you have to play a couple of times to come up with the speediest way to beat them. I liked the first one very much, but I have it on iPad, where the controls are unbearable for the record breaking stuff, and I stopped playing when the controls soon became more challenging than the game.

I am very happy to hear that the sequel is coming to Wii U!

Re: New Online Multiplayer Modes Revealed for Super Smash Bros. on 3DS and Wii U

" but that is only in massive skill disparities"
I don't believe that.

In my experience, somewhat better player wins somewhat worse player with sufficient certainty for tournaments, even with items on and in platforming levels. You need a lot of skill and strategic eye and fast brains to take the most out of the items, and also adapt into random uphill conditions as well as dodge the advantage that the enemy gets. The only problem I see, is having to play, say, two matches on the top of the tournament for making it more certain. At tops. Two absolutely similarly skilled players win each other randomly anyway, items only increase the aspects you have to master.

I don't have problems with having a game mode, that is stripped from random elements. I like that too. I only have problem with not having the glory mode for items and platforming levels as well.

Re: Unepic Gets a Fresh Update for Wii U

I expected a lot from this game, but I liked it a lot more, than I ever imagined. And now, I love it even more i guess. It's very good game on its own, but it also gives me some relief in my Castlevania longing as well as easing my envy of Maze of Galious in japanese Virtual Console.

For a sequel, next game, or if there's going to be another update, please put the main inventory on the gamepad(now you need to allocate items from the start menu into the secondary gamepad inventory).

Sales does not mean quality.

Wii U is phenomenally unpopular device, but it is still fantastic product. It is competitively priced even when it comes with a tablet controller. Nintendo has not made good job making its benefits well known, or demonstrating them in many games(other than Nintendo Land), while its competitors have been hugely successful in their marketing.

But still the Wii U is THE ultimate multiplayer machine, among other things, and even though the 3rd party support is worrying, so far every 3rd party game I have played with Wii U was better with Wii U.
