@WaveyChristmas Monkey Ball will benefit from the New 3DS so much! I bought it a while back, and I liked it a lot, but that game doesn't work with both 3d and gyro on, so I decided to wait until the N3ds.
Being able to use both 3d and gyro in all games is my no. 1 feature on the New 3DS.
I will also get Revelations 3DS version particularly for the gyro aiming! (Really shame, that the Wii U version didn't use it)
I love the cross buy deals, but I think the 50% is the absolute max the developers should ask for buying the same game twice. I think it would be a nice way of asking 1-2ish dollars from customers, but when it goes close to a 10€, I will buy another, completely diferent game.
If there is a way to use universal save files, I wish they would become a standard soon.
One of my favorite shmups from that generation, or ever. Inventive use of Snes's impressive GPU makes levels interesting, and surprisingly good looking even to day.
I have hoped, that Nintendo Land's excellence would some how get the attention it deserves. It usually, if ever, doesn't happen, but I hope this time a hidden gem is unearthed while it's still in shelves. I want sequel for it so bad, that I could cry a bit, but this news is comforting to hear.
I also dream about people suddenly emptying shops from Zombi U's and keep hoarding a million or two of them from the eShop as well.
So you can use old save files, Fantastic!!! I have been longing back to Pandoras Tower for a long time.
My Incomplete Wii Wish list:
Excite Bots
Last Story
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Crystal Bearers
Fragile Dreams
Muramasa: The Demon Blade
Okami
No More Heroes 2
Xenoblade Chronicles
Trauma Centre: New Blood
Another Code: R
Silent Hill: Shattered Memories
Conduit 2
Wario Land
Zack and Wiki
Boom Blox 2
I really wish, that the C-Stick doesn't mean, that the gyro option is taken away. I like the C-Stick as an addition to gyro controls, but the gyro is more important to me.
Taking the view distance into consideration, my 42" is actually smaller, than the GamePad, and even when the resolution isn't as high as some popular 500$ tablets, its pixel density is still also higher than on my Full HD TV. I know people, who prefer to look at the GamePad, as they can focus their eyes easier on objects that are closer.
The cockpit in the touchscreen makes my Tie Fighter panties all wet. In addition to expanding the functions you typically control in a console 'simulation', it could give more varied experience, when controlling different vehicles.
I want a new Lode Runner for Wii U. Either use GamePad for the bad guys and Wiimote Players play Lode Runners, or GamePad player playes the Lode Runner and Wiimote Players play split screen on the TV, and have reduced view of the level and need to communicate for being able to catch the Runner.
I am very excited of the Mario Maker, but I would have been much more interested on a less specific game maker on Wii U. In addition of using pieces from Mario games, it would have been fun to mix and match other classic games as well. DLC potential here would be IMMENSE! Especially if you take 3rd parties into account as well. Contra levels with Mario characters and played with Mega Man.
And most of all, use one of the greates features of The Wii U;
The stylus, and let me draw my own poopoodoodoocacapoopledoople.
It would be HUGE system seller, and I hope that they are already making a sequel for it.
I hope there is multiplayer in there as well.
And the Star Fox teasing makes me wish that the Christmas would be over already! I like the idea of the cockpit in the touch screen;
X-Wing/Tie Fighter fans might share the painful levels of excitement, that are killing me just now.
I was going to buy the Wii version, but I heard that the other versions had some filter or some other graphics options, so I decided to wait a bit. I would prefer to play it on Wii U(like almost any game really) but might go for a pc version if/as the Wii U version doesn't happen. The 3DS version doesn't sound that great for me, as the view diatance is so short and it doesn't use the 3D.
No Wiimote sword makes me sad, but gyro aiming makes me happy again!
And the world, navigation, Epona AI, bullet time etc etc makes me uncomfortably happy. I want to freeze my self for a year, as the wait is surely going to kill me.
I wish you could adjust the gyro sensitivity. Now there seems to be a filter for making things look less shaky, but I want that immediacy from the controls.
I like how Miyamoto pondered about a possibility of the Maker being a series of its own.
I actually wish it would take the place of the 2d 'New' series.
In addition to the level editor, it could have a co op adventure, where Mario would need a help from a new friend, the Maker, who could make alterations to the levels, and help 1-4 players to get through each level.
The editor should be able to mix and match different Mario generations, and even allow to draw your own pieces.
I would like to see more attention to lighting and shading effects. To me they are the most important part of the impression that the developers are trying to create.
But the lack of gyro controls made this no buy for me anyway. Last gen controls makes it even look bad (@0:33), let alone how clumsy it feels.
I would even settle for an expanded Zombi U eShop multiplayer.
GamePad player would play a proper Zombi RTS, instead of pulling zombis out of thin air. Perhaps even controlling a boss zombi directly, and others via map.
I would love, if the zombis would have faces of real players, but zombified, which would help "generating" endless amount of faces.
@crzysortagamer I just bought the Axis a couple of days ago, as I loved the Party and the Axis seems to build upon that. (the eShop version might not be named Axis though).
It is excellent, fully loaded,, affordable and there are enough players for not having to wait for too long...usually. On two occasions I have had to wait for a couple of minutes, but usually there is at least someone waiting, and I have found 4-6 player matches at least daily. (At least with items on. I have not yet played with items off).
I welcome new players with open arms though, just in case.
I would have paid 60€ for gyro controls alone. I cannot even stand how cluncy the shooting with last gen controllers look, let alone how they feel.
Gyro controls together with this interactive map would have been easy to implement, and would have made meaningful additions compared to version not having them.
It doesn't matter even in 3d games either(That much, to me). I find shaders and lighting effects much more important aspects in creating the game world. I also would exchange resolution into better frame rate and also rather use all the available time and processing power into more convinsing animation and AI.
I would have bought it for the co op, but it seems, that it was an after thought, that they came up with on half way during the development. The co op with own screen for each player is such a big forte of the hardware, that it is such a big bummer, when it is done half heartedly, that I am skipping this all together.
If they started with the idea of co op(with private screens), they could have designed levels, that work without coughing blood. Now it looks as if they down graded the graphics and it still judders.

Thank you!
I will buy it for this, and I will not buy any game, where there is aiming and no gyro controls.

SMT 4 for sure, but Citizens is also tempting.
Re: Rock 'N Racing Off Road Aims to Bring Mayhem to Wii U on 29th January
But do they slide at all!?!
I loved the Super Off Road, and have played Slick and Slide for years, and while graphically this looks perfect, the gameplay seems slow and sticky.

Yes!!! And perhaps even one of those "buy both @ reduced price" -deals could help making their hard work worthwhile.

Re: Nintendo Confirms New 3DS eShop Shooter IronFall Invasion
@Shambo I sure hope, that they would add gyro option.
I love touch screen aiming, but not every one have thumb straps anymore, and Gyro is always with you. I have started to like gyro more anyway.
Re: YouTube Update Spruces Up Wii U App
Netflix is in much more dire need of an upd...complete overhaul, than Youtube app(which is better via browser anyway.).
Re: bAll or Nothing is Next From Nexis Games on Wii U
I would LOVE to see a Monkey Ball like game with gyro controls.

Angry Birds costs AAA?
I was waiting for the eShop version and I would buy it for my kids, but I don't want to send a signal, that mobile games are worth AAA.

I would pay a high price for an Actraiser for Wii U.

Shadow of the Ninja!
My favorite ninja game.(well, after the Mystical Ninja ofcourse).
Re: Review: Snake Den (Wii U eShop)

Re: Two Tetris Downloads to be Removed from the 3DS eShop in Europe
@WaLzgi
Ok.
After christmas the player base starts shrinking.
Fantastic!
Re: Two Tetris Downloads to be Removed from the 3DS eShop in Europe
LOVE you!
The Axis is better, than the Ultimate, and I just bought it for multiplayer, and this means the that the player amount will decrease.
At least you could have warned so I could have taken this into consideration.
Re: Feature: Five Nintendo Games Perfect For Multiplayer Fun and Thanksgiving

Check.

Does anyone have one of those "GameCube-style" -controllers, that are made by PDP? I wonder how tight they are.
I have a problem. I cannot play Smash withh Pro controller, and I am digital only kind of guy, so I need USB for a hard disk.
