Well so much for the dev who told us they weren't allowed to use unique characters anymore. I guess Nintendo course corrected very quickly!

I think more than ever with theme parks and movies Nintendo is trying to keep the focus on Nintendo and not a particular dev.

I feel like Nintendo itself has decided it is now bigger than simply a game developer but now they are fostering a global brand that transcends one medium. Best to focus on Nintendo the brand with all it’s projects.

It's small dev with limited budget and clearly the quality could not be maintained on Switch.. A game like this used to run flawless on Nintendo DS and 3DS, Switch is more than powerful enough. It is simply a lack of money and knowhow that made this fail.

Hopefully it will be patched, because the Switch is probably the ideal platform for sales.

I bought Isabel’s Visit and it’s small but gives you the best “starter set” experience as it comes with a house, Isabel and tools, a garden, etc

It uses the Mario round connector piece system so you could connect it with Lego Mario for a bizzaro Nintendo Lego crossover.

Just like with Lego Mario these will I think get larger adult focused sets in the future.

The sets are very well priced for what it is. Easy to mix these with other Lego bricks for more stuff.

Imagine if the Dreamcast won and Nintendo was putting Mario on the SEGA machine.

This I believe the only Star Wars game that lets you easily drive AT-AT's around at will. The newer Battlefront games treat them like short timed rail events.

I was hoping this work like a Yoshi game where you have a to b levels but then to 100% it is more challenging. Also there is loads of collectibles to earn.

Instead porting these titles why not bake the spirit of them into NSO with leaderboards, speed running, unlocks and weekly, monthly challenges.

I think there is a misconception that Nintendo because they don't have the best graphics and go for lesser hardware that they are some kind of c-tier company in the world of video games.

Nintendo is one of the richest companies in Japan.

I also have heard that Japanese companies are very demanding but usually have very good boundaries for weekends and holidays. But while your working they expect 100%.

The truth is that all the big 3rd party publishers have gone with this uni-platform approach of X86 PC like engines. They no longer put it on everything like they use to. Now it's just PS/Xbox and PC. And yes they could make more money by putting it on Switch, but they don't think it would make enough money.

This is why GTA V is not Switch, they figure those players who care already own a Playstation or Xbox. Why put the resources into a "kiddy console".

Now if somehow Nintendo could incorporate Labo then the cycle of weird stuff this generation will be complete.

Namco wasn’t making shovelware party games for the Wii anymore so Nintendo did it for them.

I bought the special version where Bowser comes out as Bowsette.

Imagine if Nintendo released a book with backgrounds to use all those stickers that come with various game pre-orders. Would make an epic my Nintendo reward.

@GogGogGogGog yes I believe Gold Mario does have some differences. For example in Mario Party 10 gold Mario was a figure if you used it. Possibly have some interaction with Mario Odyssey as well.

If they were to ever announce Mother 3 I would do it at the Game Awards and have Reggie come out and do a bit about people asking for Mother 3, and then just go..."ok." and the trailer rolls.

I want Nintendo to make an Amiibo collection app. And maybe an amiibo club.

Make a Nintendo music app that is all the Nintendo music you can listen to. Put some fun backgrounds with them.
