Look it is clear Rockstar has some Junior intern team somewhere that were probably given six months to knock out this quick port. And so they spent bare minimum on doing it and sold it for sixty bucks. Of course it did well!

I predict the next Nintendo console will ditch any physical media and be entirely downloadable. Or at least will have a cheaper model which is digital only.

I tried it on the Switch OLED docked. WiFi 5ghz close to the router. It ran absolutely fine. You can tell it is no 4k version but it is good looking still.

Personally I think cloud is a good idea for the Switch. As long as the publishers make sure the compacity is there. If you want games like Phantasy Star Online 2 on the Switch it would need something like cloud.

Xbox One launched with NO games for Kinect 2.0. Considering it was packed in the box Microsoft did almost nothing with the camera. Kinect Sports Rivals eventually launched but it was a whole new art style leaving behind the personality of the Avatars. But it makes sense as most of the features of the Xbox 360 were abandoned and Xbox One was fairly barebones at launch.

You do realise that the games shown at the reveal is all the N64 games we will get. This is no gamepass style service. This is a way to sell you a bunch of DLC and A few back catalog games most don't care about. They don't bother involving any 3rd party companies. Like with SNES where is the 3rd party games? It is pure profit for them where most companies would sell them as a collection for $40 a long time ago.

I was gonna say Why the HELL has this not been announced for Switch. Nintendo needs to get more hands on with the Pokemon company and start doing more then selling teddies and overpriced chairs

I think Nintendo needs to stick with console games. Niantic games are boring.

Imagine if Phil Spencer and Doug Bowser come out and announce Goldeneye for N64 Online and Gamepass. The two companies have agreed to share the license.

I believe the physical version will be a massive collectors item in the future and is the one to get.

I like the expansion pack as I sat through the Animal Crossing directing thinking I was going to be buying the AC DLC and the N64 expansion. And honestly I believe the service will grow in games and platforms over time.

Also I pay for the family pack so everyone can use their own profiles in my house.

I wish the Mario Switch was OLED. That was the one I wanted. Truth is the white Dock would not look as good in my living room. My wife would hate it, and so she doesn't even realise it is the upgraded one.

@Darkyoshi98 Did you know you can order the game from official Nintendo Store and receive the digital eShop code but also any pre-order physical bonuses as well such as sricker sheets, keychains, etc.

I think an extra £10 to the family plan is fair.

I only played the original Metroid on the NES as a kid, I remember beating it over a weekend at a friend's house. I also saw how crazy collector rare the Samus Returns collector edition was so splurged for the Special Edition. It is really nice!

Nintendo will sell out of all Switch OLED's. But I think the lack of a huge Animal Crossing type release on the horizon investors are not as interested. Nintendo doesn't care because when they win they win big.

Here is a fact. Square-Enix is not going to re-port 10 games to run on the underpowered Switch. Even games like KH3 would not run at all or look horrible. This is the only way we are seeing KH on the Switch. If you prefer to own the games and boxes then there are other platforms which you already own including PC which you can do that.

Cloud streaming is going to be way more common as we go forward so prepare your expectations.

I think as Switch owners we have to face the facts that 3rd parties are not going to keep making dumb down ports for Nintendo, so the cloud option really opens the door for more graphically intense games like KH3.

And yet Dragon Quest heroes 1&2 for the west has not come to Switch even though a localisation has been done for the game. It's obvious Square-Enix hates westerners.

Look Nintendo spend some money and get proper desirable 3rd party support like the mini consoles and make a gamepass style service for all your retro games and systems.

So why doesn't Nintendo just spend some money with 3rs parties and make a true Gamepass service with as much as the classic libraries as they can get onto the service and charge one price for it all.

I don't think there is enough dedicated ram to the OS to do native voice chat on the Switch. But the lack of party chat and messaging even through the app means Nintendo doesn't want to do it. Voice chat through the app works great but nobody uses it. Sad.

This is the kind of thing Nintendo needs to do with Virtual Console, make it into a Gamepass like service. Also don't discount the Microsoft/Nintendo love fest. Banjo could be coming to Switch via N64 games.

I am actually excited to try out Labo VR with it...see if games like Breath of the Wild look better.

It's time for Nintendo to make their own Gamepass like service and spend some actually money to get third parties on board.

I would not be surprised of Pokemon was absent from the releases.

Given the fact the magazine is basically a catalogue ad for all their products this is still a perfect thing to offer on MyNintendo for free w/shipping. The Animal Crossing section and the clothing section is just awesome! I am tempted to buy the Japanese one off ebay.

Why can't Activision release Skylanders Imaginations digitally for Switch with digital characters. That would sell.

Look Nintendo needs to figure out what Nintendo Switch Online is. Is it a less then stellar Virtual Console service? Is it access to online voice chat and stable servers? Is it a bonus programme?

I think given how little is added to NSO for the past couple of years Nintendo is either satisfied with the takeup or they are hopefully planning something bigger. But honestly I have come to the conclusion Nintendo is done with Virtual Console as a whole. Why give away the milk when you can sell it for $60. They could give us GBA Online, but instead they are porting the best games to Switch and charging full whack. And we buy them.

As for NSO online services I suspect they will quietly keep adding more to it (gawd I hope messaging) and making it work better. But I don't think we will see any major improvements until the Switch 2.

And BTW I have to pay £35.00 a year (same as Xbox Live Gold) for NSO because I have a family that uses it.

When is Bethesda going to over the title of the game.

I went to ALDI and came home and a new switch was announced at like 2pm. What??!!

I go to the store for one hour and THIS happens!!!

How about printing more of the actual Dread Amiibos they are all sold out to scalpers and the game isn't even out yet.
