@Suketoudara This is pure speculation but I think next year we are going to see a revamp of NSO with price increases and new things like themes tied to it.
Let that sink in ND Cube produced 6 hours of music for Mario Party Jambouree + Jambouree TV. That is why only Nintendo developed party games will ever be the best.
My biggest worry is this will be a labyrinthine puzzle/scan-athon with a bit of combat and boss fights, the desert is pretty much just lore, no real substance and everything is scripted set pieces instead of true exploration.
There will be no cool cosmetic unlocks for your bike, or upgrade trees or anything. We are 3 weeks away and I still feel how I did about BANANZA before the Direct blew open the doors.
Actually Switch HAS proper Xbox Live/PSN style party chat now up to 12 people. The ONLY big downside is there is no drop-in/drop-out in the party. Hopefully that will get patched in the future.
Unfortunate that physical isn't available until after Christmas, but in the UK Amazon his Switch 1 cart for £44.99. So with £5.00 upgrade makes it less than launch for Switch!
Everyone is moving towards hybrid or portable gaming, Nintendo has really shown the way with that. And as more developers Taylor their games for that Switch 2 will benefits from it first.
Jensen from Nvidia went out of his way to make a video about the power of Switch 2, clearly proud of it. Nintendo are actually making cutting edge silicone, they aren’t just toy makers.
You know the obvious way to deal with demand is offer a guaranteed entry for a higher price. The lottery system only goes so far. They should offer higher priced tickets for tourist and the like that can afford to pay more and only have a short amount of time to visit.
@MarioLinkSamus yes Gameshare streams the game apparently with no issues with local co-op and even to Switch 1 and Lite, also you can play co-op online with two Switch 2 systems and 1 copy of the game.
I have gone crazy this time, went all physical with bundles from My Nintendo UK! So paying those high prices, but I now own a genuine Pokemon Z-A umbrella.
I am sorry you buried the lead in the title of that article! This is a super cool feature with the Animal Crossing tracks. I had to learn this on X.com because your article title.
@raymond23 This isn't that hard to work out, the "Switch 2 edition" features are just things the Switch 2 can make use of, it will be a patch to the game likely and will give you microphone, mouse use and graphic bump, likely also making use of the better WIFI chip to allow the 12 players (and also RAM in the Switch 2).
Honestly this is not surprising, when the Zelda Switch 2 came out there was no DLC included with those. Let's face it folks the Switch eShop, the NSO benefits have not changed. This isn't Ubisoft where everything is thrown in at half price 6 months later.
If the +Expansion Pack proposition changes in the future they may choose to release an edition with DLC, but for now they are going on with the same as Switch 1.
I waiting for an official Nintendo 512GB SD Express card to get one, but yeah between game key cards and just updates (last gen I went all digital as well) you are cleaning the fridge too often.
Look, this is absolute BEST decision for Microsoft. Software and services is where the money is, when everyone was saying IBM hardware was where the money was, Microsoft let the OEM's fight for that space while they dominated as the single most successful and ubiquitous operating system (and still to this day) with Windows and of course Office.
Microsoft still has OEM partners making PC's and laptops and tablets for them, so they can be everywhere and still have own brand hardware.
The real challenge for Phill Spencer is will they yield their long built up Xbox ecosystem (Xbox Live, Friends, Voice Chat, etc) and their cloud gaming/Game Pass services to companies like Nvidia who seemed to offer a superior service? Or will they use their new freedom from home console hardware to double down on data centres and the Xbox feel and experience to be the GO TO cloud service?
Time will tell. But I think if they loose that entirely they are just another EA, Ubisoft, etc and the Xbox that famously took the industry by storm with the 360 will be dead.
Microsoft went all in on Xbox 360 and quickly lost their way with Kinect. And they nearly suicided with Xbox One, and the worst thing they pivoted and pivoted to the point where they have completely lost the soul of the product. And so becoming the largest third party publisher getting 70% cut is not a bad deal for Microsoft.
I mean by all accounts Halo Remake needs allot of work, I am sure that is doubly so for Nintendo Switch 2. I would imagine Microsoft will want to properly announce the games in a Direct rather than total out of the blue on X. But you never know seems the only publishers that are in Directs are Japanese ones.
OK well it seems the Nintendo FOMO machine has worked, I have 8 days to complete Bananza and start grinding this event. This will get me to Hyrule Warriors launch.
@Freek I have been also playing many Switch 1 titles in higher quality and also need to play DK Bananza. I think you need to complete the campaign to get to DK Island so I wonder if this event will be available in the future?
If they want to spice up Nintendo Classics without adding games or a console they already have the stuff ready. Add in the NES Remix levels and leaderboards to the NES sections, even could add world championship levels as well. Basically give people daily, weekly and monthly challenges and missions, reward with Nintendo Power articles, concept art, game manuals, etc. And then add this to SNES someday.
The figurines for Charazard are quite small, pretty much the same size as the pre-order starter figurines. The hat and umbrella are really nice and I had a hot chocolate with the well made mug. Pins are nice as well.
The UK insert with the game is just ads for Pokemon products but in some regions it includes a type chart which I wish I had.
For those complaining about the Mario Kart World price, the bundle with Switch 2 made that game cheaper than Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and it was available day 1 with the Switch 2 launch. I don't think people give Nintendo enough credit for this.
Ok I tried it, looks like other consoles but runs at 30FPS. Not sure if this patch is the major improvements but it looks wonderful, frame rate seemed stable but feels sluggish.

Re: Mario Kart World Has Been Updated To Version 1.4.0, Here Are The Full Patch Notes
OMG! Added "Music Volume" to "Settings/Controller".
This DOES make me wonder if we will ever get DLC for this game at all? Will free roam actually get new content?
Re: Nintendo Today! Mobile App Update Adds A New Donkey Kong Theme
