Adorable Animal Crossing Dodo Airlines Reusable Bag Appears On My Nintendo Europe

The website is not actually working (the "add to cart" button is nowhere to be seen...), before anyone gets too excited.

Got the reward code but can't add it to the cart! Hopefully the website is fixed soon!

Typical of Nintendo to make you jump through hoops and leap canyons to try and make this work. It doesn't.

Redeemed my points, have my code and can't do jack with it.

I can add it to my cart, I just can't go past the Address stage because House Number is a required field and I don't have one.

Funny fact: I did a movies once (the Pirates, 2012) and there happens to appear a dodo in it, which happens to be involved in one of my lines. Funny to see this....

I've spent the point to get the code but I'm not seeing any option to add it to the basket. Can't tell if it's out of stock or the webite is just bad

@Jooles_95 I've even tried another web browser and still not working. I've emailed them about it. Hopefully it's sorted soon so we can get our tote bags.

@Anguspuss I'm heading out in a minute soon and won't be back for hours. I bet if this is resolved in that time I'll miss out despite spending my points.

Yup same story here, I can't add it to the cart. I did also get those lovely Hanafuda postcards, they could be added to the cart with no issue, so there must be heavy traffic on the DoDo reusable bag page.

Respects to all the people who can't get it. Points should really be deducted when the transaction is done.
Also, why 'limited' stock? Animal crossing is huge now, I'd imagine a lot of people would love this. Just as baffling as when they made some amazing merch for Nintendo Tokyo but made it Japan-only

I find it nothing short of infuriating that the Nintendo website has been so terrible for so long and nothing seems to be done about it. If I was this incompetent at my job, I would have been let go years ago!

I would have gladly parted with all of my plat points for this, think I currently have around 2,000, but don't think I would have paid $3.99 shipping.

I have a bunch of swag from Club Nintendo that always shipped for free. Even the fairly big Zelda bike messenger bag and the 3DS Mario cardboard poster. MyNintendo is such a raging embarrassment.

Anybody been in the NYC store recently and see anything like this? My wife used to work a block away but moved 20 blocks so I'm not asking her to check. If she ever goes back into the office.

Ah yes that stupid store that only allows for payments done through the use of a credit card. Cause everyone has one of those in Europe 😒. Even after all these years that store still doesn't accept PayPal as well.

My Nintendo members in Canada will just stay content with our printable party hats and printable die block.

This article was 21 minutes old when I jumped on this. Their website is still not working. After the experience I had with the Splatoon posters I don't know why I still bother. (Although with the posters I got the postage refunded as gold points).

Every European country page is currently loading properly with the option to proceed... apart from the UK one.

I'm in the UK and I can add to cart and go through Checkout until I try and add my address then I get the error: " Invalid value of "GB" provided for the countryId field." and cant continue

Trying to enter shipping information was a joke.
The whole process was an absolute joke.

Bet I never see this thing.

I seem to be having a unique problem, I click on the UK link and it says I need to log in before I can proceed, I click on the log in button and it keeps endlessly reloading the page. All this to order a bag. I wish there was some accountability for this, but there never has been and there never will be.

Finally managed to checkout and get my bag ordered. Should be here in a few days hopefully ☺️

They don't half make it difficult. Trying to impulse buy on my phone in bed and it makes me re-enter all my name and address details, that they already have, redeem a special code, go to a checkout thing, enter the special code they just gave me, tell me it honestly does cost more than six quid to post it and then ask me to enter my debit card details that they also already have.

Upshot is that I've spent 400 platinum points on a special code that I either forget about tomorrow or I spend £6.25 to make tangible.

They are bloody piss-takers sometimes.

Mine arrived on Saturday, but not actually opened it up (I opened the box, but not the wrapped bag).

Just had a bit of a chuckle at my original comment on this article. I ended up ordering the bag a year ago when it eventually became available here in the states. While it feels flimsy, it's still going strong and really comes in handy when needing a reusable bag for family outings

I already have one, it's a nice bag. But a bit small to be usable.

@sanderev Actually looking at the bag pictured above, I'm now realizing that this bag is completely different from the one I got from the US My Nintendo. This one definitely looks smaller than the one I have, which you could probably fit a decent size frozen turkey in just to give a frame of reference

Anyway I did use my coins to buy this and paid the shipping. It's a nice little bag, probably not worth the shipping cost but whatever.
